Great service! Came in for lunch, little busy but we sat right away. Lots of local military and construction workers in for their lunch. Ordered a variety...mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, chicken salad, pizza....pizza was very good and full of toppings. Knots and sticks tasted straight from the freezer...literally on the sticks, the cheese was not even melted....chicken on the salad was steaming from being what we deemed defrosted in the microwave just before being brought out. I give the stars for the prompt and friendly service, definitely not for the food! Parking lot is a tad sketchy, pretty sure we saw at least two drug deals going on in broad daylight. It was good. I think they use the place mainly for delivery since there's not that many tables in the dining area. Garlic rolls were very good as well as the house salad it was very fresh and crunchy. Baked Ziti was delish. I have not tried the pizza yet but will definitely come back. read more

6/4/2021 - updated my review - hats off to the new owners!!! I had so many bad customer experiences with this place, but last time the manager delivered my pizza in person and apologize. She explained her family just bought the place ans we're making changes. Well, the changes worked! I got an accurate time quote ans the pizza was delivered a few minutes early to top it off! 5/11/2021 - Once again, sadly disappointed by the customer service. I decided to give them another try and was quoted 30 min delivery time. I called an hour later for a status and was told it should be there "soon". Made the trek from Miami to Homestead to try Knead a Pizza. We had the place to ourselves in the dining area, mostly take out orders. We ordered a well done extra pepperoni pizza and 6 garlic rolls. It was not well done and if what we got was extra pepperoni I wonder how many you get on a regular order. And it was no where near well done, the bottom was still white and kind of chewy. The flavor of the pizza good though. The garlic rolls were forgotten and we had to ask for them and received them at the end of our meal. They had not much garlic on them at all and definitely needed to be cooked more, chewy and dough like the pizza. Pretty disappointed. Some of the reviews I read beforehand should have been red flags but I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I also wanted to try a local pizza spot that I've never tried before. We ordered the "Knead a Favorite" pizza which had a bit of everything on top. I think it had potential, but it was so soggy. Reviews I read warned us of a soggy pizza. But I thought if I specified I wanted mine well done, it would've helped. Nope. Soggy. The only non-soggy part of the pizza was about an inch from the crust to the crust itself. There's nothing worse than a soggy wet pizza. We also ordered a small order (6) of their chicken wings. I ordered it with spicy garlic sauce which apparently is just buffalo with some garlic in it. No complaints on the sauce. I also specified well done/crispy because no one wants a soggy wing, right? Well, that's what I got unfortunately. Good sauce but soggy wings. The skin was slimy and just so gross. No good. Super disappointing. Now for the garlic rolls. A real pizza place always has a good garlic roll. The more garlic the better. But the bread itself is important too. These were knots and seemed to not be cooked well enough. Nothing about them seemed to be homemade. It looked like they heated up some store bought rolls, cooked it for not long enough, sprinkled some garlic powder on it and some pre-packaged minced garlic on top. Undercooked and good doughy. Great NY style pizza! If you're in the area and in the mood for Italian, don't pass this place up. Food was delicious! Service was great, fast and cozy. I would caution if you're dinning in, plan ahead. The location has limited seats (I believe about 20), and the location of the restaurant is in a small plaza, so limited parking. Regret not having photos (was on a time crunch with work lunch), but they have great lunch specials and the slices are traditional NY-Style size. We've ordered twice already from here and they did not disappoint. First time we ordered 2 pizzas & wings. The pizza was slightly greasy but delicisous nonetheless. The wings were a decent size and tasty as well. Second time I ordered a chicken parmesan lunch special; which includes garlic rolls. This pizzeria has the freshest tasting pizza in Homestead. I cannot even compare it to any chain pizza. Picked up pizzas here on several occasions. The toppings not only taste fresh, the vegetables are so fresh you can taste the vibrancy of life as they had just been harvested. The tomato topping is thinly sliced and you can actually taste the flavor of the tomato, which has unfortunately been long bread out of the normal grocery store and restaurant supply varieties. The dough is also notable for it;'s freshness you can taste the ingredients of the dough, which is chewy, but not doughy in taste. The dough in the pizza does not stand up well to being refrigerated. It will start to fall apart. I assume that this my must be a trade off in having increadibly fresh tasting pizza. The pizza has NEVER been greasy. The restaurant had just been recently redecorated and it is a nice dining area reminiscent of an authentic Italian bistro. The menu is more diverse than just a pizza joint and would be suitable for a dinner date. OH MY PIZZA!!!!!! Hail to the pizza God's above who have blessed us with this fabulous pizza shop! I LOVE this pizza with a capital "L"! I have to say growing up and eating alot of pizza I kinda grew out of loving it but thanks to Anthony's and now Knead a pizza, I've found love again!!! The place is really small but walking in it smells like a real real pizza joint. The menu is placed right in the front and cashier ready to take your order or answer any questions you may have. I really didn't look at the menu cause I just really know what I like on my pizza so my hubby chose a pizza we would really enjoy with both veggie and meat toppings. He also ordered jalapeño poppers to try ( we wanted the stuffed shrooms but they were sold out). Once you place your order the guy gets to work and we even saw them slicing the meats to add to our pizza.Now I didn't realize exactly how big the pizza would be but good lord,it was huge, I mean walking out of the door carrying it we bumped into another customer who was waiting to place their order. We couldn't wait to get home to check it out. The smell alone on the drive home was so tempting. Once we finally got home,grabbed plates and napkins (or should I say bibs) we opened the box and holy mother of God, it was absolutely beautiful. The beautiful colors of the veggies and meats mixed together. The slices were longer then the plates we had them on and upon the first bite we both had to close our eyes...it was pure heaven. We tasted all the flavors and the cheese was so good. We both stopped to look at eachother and knew what eachother was thinking....we had found our forever happy pizza place in homestead. We are never going anywhere else. This pizza is truly phenomenal! Oh and we forgot all about the poppers but they were just okay, I'm not a big fan of cream cheese so I just had one to try but focused on my pizza. First off, I think the name is super cool! Lol. It's located right in the shopping center where the other little restaurants are! This is kind of the little Lincoln road of the redlands. Hehe. This place is super cute. They hand make all their stuff so it's fresh and tastes great! They do delivery which is always a Plus ++ As soon as you walk in you get the UHH-mazing smell of pizza which gets me every time :) the employees are super nice and greet you upon entering. You can either eat inside with the amazing aroma or there are nice little tables outside which let you enjoy the nice breeze outside. It's also conveniently located next door to an ice cream parlor too, so after some great pizza and garlic rolls you can tame your sweet tooth with some great ice cream! Here we go.. First time I ordered they canceled my Uber eats after I waited an hour. 2nd time: I called and was hung up on twice so I placed my order thru slice.com. Once I got to the restaurant they gave me a story about how slice wasn't working and that I should have ordered directly through the restaurant- I told them what happen and they placed my order again and waited another 30 mins. 3rd time: called and was hung up again, called twice more and was finally able to place the order. After waiting 40 mins they tell me my pizza had a hole in it and that they had to make it again. At this point I'm not sure what happen but the restaurant was full of smoke and the employee where scrambling to get orders out. In the mix of all that they handed me my order- when I got home the bread I ordered was replaced by calamari, the calzone tasted like pure smoke, and the chocolate cake had mold spore all over it. I've called the restaurant several times since I got home but no one answers, it's Friday at 7:53pm. Super upset. Ordered online at 7:30 was told by 8:16 he would arrive. It's 9:13 and I still dont have my pizza. I called three times and the girl who answered is super rude and unhelpful. She wouldn't call the driver to see where he was at. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and she kept saying "how can i help you". I have been to this location twice, and both times I have had issues. My first time and first impression there, they missed one of my orders ( I made 2). The second time they gave me the complete wrong order. I drove all the way home to find out I had the wrong order. I shouldn't have to worry about being given the wrong order. You all need to be checking orders and not giving me excuses on how you "sometimes" check them. "COVID" is not an excuse of why you don't always check. I'm not the employee there you need to verify customers orders are correct. The excuses and the arguing back are not professional. Giving me attitude when I was respectful was not nice either. Your eye rolling and body language was not pleasant. You're a manager Lisa. You need to learn how to handle difficult situations and not let your emotions get the best of you.
