Cafe Ham and Swiss Cafe Sandwich with lots of bread and a minimal amount of ham and Swiss
    Kristy M.

There's something not quite right about this Kneaders location. Our delivery order was wrong last time (and nearly every time), so we decided to pick up this time. We ordered in the app and our order wasn't ready when we arrived. No biggie. Then she said they were out of one pastry we had ordered and to choose another; okay. Then she said they were out of the cookies we selected, but the app suggested those cookies as an add-on. Odd. Got a refund on those. Checked our order on the way out and the turkey sandwich had the correct ingredients, but very little turkey. I ordered two extra sides of turkey to go home and add on there. Also needed to add extra mayo at home, as there was barely any. Everyone was really nice and helpful, but I think maybe someone needs to show this location what Kneaders food should look (and taste) like.

We came for the French toast! We ordered French toast, American omelet, cinnamon roll, and French toast sticks kids meals. The food was great and the restaurant was clean with a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent! They were very friendly and accommodating.

    Famous Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich
    Kayla S.

The "famous" sandwich ..... was gross. No better word to describe it. Turkey tasted boiled and bland. My friend ordered a pesto sandwich which had no pesto on it. When we tried to return it they said "well it's cooked in pesto" and wouldn't refund. The bakery item I ordered was great, but they should really stick to baking. The restaurant itself was loud and messy, the water fountain looked uncleaned and there were no napkins. Wont be back, as this was not worth the $20 I paid.

    Not enough food

I love kneaders and their portion size. Went today got turkey bacon avacado. They gave me 3 tiny slices of avocado and breadcrumbs of turkey. Wont go back to this location.

    Chicken ala mondo salad

I love that you can always count on Kneaders for a tasty consistent meal. This is one of my favorite places to get salads because they are so flavorful! My favorite salad is the chicken ala mondo. So many great flavors and textures going on. My husband got the rueben sandwich and it was surprisingly really tasty because that's usually not my favorite thing to order! We love that they give you a good size portion so there is often enough for another leftover meal at home. We were grateful that indoor dining was open again. It does seem like they need time to make the place cute again. The chilled section was broken so you couldn't see the pastries which was a bummer. They had them bit in another place in the back . And the bathroom wasn't my favorite. I get that it's an older building but they could try to make it a little bit more decorated since they have a lot of cute crafts in the restaurant.

    Peanut butter cheesecake

Kneaders is one of those restaurants that always reminds me of "ladies who lunch"...you know what I mean, it's a chick place. Not that there's anything wrong with that! The presentation of the food, the decor inside, all of it looks like something my mom and aunt would spend countless hours slaving over until they achieve perfection. Sadly, due to COVID, I have not had the opportunity to visit this Kneaders in person. But I did get to participate in a taste test of several cheesecakes from different bakeries, and that's how I landed here. In full disclaimer, I don't care for cheesecake-of any kind-so I invited six of my closest friends and family to help try them and give feedback. The cheesecake from Kneaders was a peanut butter variety. It had a beautiful chocolate and peanut butter chunk drizzle over the top of the nicely cut slices. The texture was smooth and creamy. One person in the group said it was like eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup-but better. Another in the group decided it was her favorite and couldn't get enough. I'm looking forward to visiting in the future-I'd like to try a few other menu items. Maybe I'll get a group of friends together for brunch!

Desserts look Devine! I'm coming later in the day next time.

Really enjoy their avocado bacon turkey sandwich. It's a bit pricey, but is very good. Don't miss the microphone for the drive thru.

Cannot get enough of their french toast! $5 for unlimited - how can that be beat! It's usually busy but it's always worth it!

The food here is great, but this location is always so, so crowded in the mornings when they have their unlimited french toast.

Cream of broccoli soup was really runny, and the bread was rubbery. I usually like kneaders but this one was a disappointment.

Everything looked good, and the young lady behind the counter provided immediate service. We had the eclairs and the Napoleons. The eclairs were excellent with good flavor and texture. They were smaller than what I think of as a standard size for an eclair, but we would get them again. The Napoleons were another matter. The layers of flaky puff pastry were soft and limp, not flaky and a bit crunchy as they should be. Perhaps the Napoleons had sat too long in the display case, and the pastry absorbed liquid from the custard layers. We would not buy a Napoleon there again.

When we received our order, one of our items was missing, so we had to go back and let them know. When we asked about it, we were met with a bit of an attitude, which was disappointing considering the mistake wasn't on our end. The missing item was a chocolate croissant, and when they finally gave it to us, it was extremely cold and hadn't been heated up at all. We also ordered a hot chocolate that was barely warm, definitely not what I would consider "hot" chocolate. I understand people can have bad days, and maybe we just came in at an unfortunate time, but between the unfriendly service, the missing item, the cold croissant, and the lukewarm hot chocolate, it wasn't a very good experience. I really hope the customer service improves because a little friendliness and attention to the order would have made a big difference.

Whoever put up the signs that say, "Try a fermented cookie!" and "The very best chocolate chip…read morecookie!" is a genius. I HAD to try one of these cookies strictly because the signs were enticing me to do so. The cookie was okay. Probably not the best chocolate chip cookie but not the worst. It was more on the cakey side and did have an acidic bite to it, which was unique. However, the sourdough bread is what really won me over! I was able to sample the regular, honey wheat, and dark bread and all were easily some of the best sourdough I've ever had. Crusty but airy, slightly acidic and full of flavor. It was delicious! I'd recommend visiting this bakery for the bread, the friendly and helpful staff, and the smells. (The smell of freshly baked sourdough bread fills the tiny shop from wall to wall.)

It wasn't cloyingly sweet where it would make your stomach sick, which is what you might think when you saw it! Most of the donuts there were filled donuts and I'm not a huge fan of filled donuts because most of the time the combination of the donut and the filling does make you feel sick after eating one. But I heard the check out lady talking about how they made the cream for the donut I tried and I knew it was the one for me! I do wish they had options like a plain chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. But this is more of a gourmet shop than your local, average donut shop, so I understand why they don't. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because the checkout lady was a bit scatter brained and didn't ask me if I wanted a receipt. When I asked for one she got even more flustered and couldn't figure out how to give me one and basically said oh well - you just can't have one. I wanted the receipt so I could turn it in to google surveys which pays me money for taking surveys and uploading my receipts. So I was kind of irritated.
