This was such a pleasant surprise! I expected something like Panera bread - it was like that but on steroids and so much better. SO many options for food and it was so festive in the Christmas spirit! I'll have to go back 100 more times to get everything I even want from the menu. Only complaint is there is no WiFi. This restaurant is the only place that I truly crave. There are so many yummy things on their menu. Their bakery looks fantastic and their fresh lemonade is perfection. I ordered their blt sandwich and the ingredients were fresh and tasted magnificent. The bacon was perfectly crisp and I got to taste a lot in every bite. I just noticed their breakfast menu and can't wait to try it with my family. I was on my way home looking for good but also fast food - a rare combination most of the time. I saw this fancy new building and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the "classic" turkey sandwich expecting deli sliced cuts of meat. This sandwich was made just like it came from grandma's kitchen. All white meat pieces of turkey that were clearly pulled right off the bone. This was amazingly good! I also order the chicken noodle soup. The noodles were slightly softer than I'd like, as if it had been brewing for some time. That being said, this was still very tasty! Can't wait to get back and try other options! read more

Kneaders is another one of these Utah-based fast-food chains that seems to work well there but get shrugs elsewhere. This location is reasonably well run. The ordering line tends to lag a bit, as does wait time for food that should not take long to prepare. Today they ticked me off. I generally always get the Southwest BBQ chicken salad, the only one on which the chicken is hot. It's pretty tasty and I generally eat here weekly just for that salad. Today I was informed that the salad no longer comes in two sizes--just one that is "sized in between the half and whole" they sold the last time I was here a week ago. They seem to think this was okay since the price is less than the whole (it probably plays well to their infamously chintzy Utah base). The salad arrived in a small plastic, disposable bowl instead of the large, reusable one they used before. The salad looks much smaller. It only comes with one dressing and a tiny portion of the chicken. Now I feel insulted! Since this was the only thing that brought me here, I guess I no longer have a reason to keep coming. read more

Went to Kneaders by my house for all you can eat French toast breakfast! It was amazing! Even came with a side of strawberries and cream! The employees were really nice and it has a cute little shop it it that makes it feel very welcoming and homey. Defiantly will be coming back for breakfast. They were horrible. I was the only person in line, and they took over 15 minutes just to take my order. Three different ladies were standing around, and kept looking at me but wouldn't take my order. When one lady (cashier number 56) finally took my order she kept stopping and ignoring me to talk to her son who was running all over the building. Then it took another 15 minutes to get my order which was just pastries from the case. They took so long because they were too busy talking about how horrible their manager is and how she doesn't know how to do her job. They were having this conversation right at the counter, so any customer could hear it. I will not be returning. read more

Ordered the Triple Chocolate pie two days ahead of time and confirmed the pick up time. Arrived to pick it up and was told they were putting the finishing touches on it. Twenty minutes later it was obvious they were making the pie. So much for pre-ordering. Took it to work, put it in the fridge for 3 hours until pot luck Friday lunch. First slice removed and the space in the pie pan immediately filled with the filling which had the consistency of sloppy chocolate pudding. Not a slice but a blob of "pie". Won't be stopping here again. read more

I would like to give more of a review but when you have to wait 40+ minutes for a cinnamon roll, pecan tart and coffee they don't deserve it. We asked one of the employees about our order after we saw people who had come in behind us being served. She didn't look at our receipt, just told us that they would bring it out when they got ready. We finally went back to the register and talked the person that took our order. She said the order never was printed and she would take it with the owner. Five minutes later our order was delivered by one of the servers. No owner comments, no sorry for the inconvenience and long wait, no acknowledgement at all. Poor service. Oh yeah, food was good when we got it. read more

The food here is definitely good. I think that it is filling and portion sizes are wonderful. However the service is not great. There is a manager here that is very VERY disrespectful to her other employees. I had entered the building and was looking at the menu for a while. I wasnt greeted right away which for me, is not an issue. I knew i was going to take a minute and i stood farther back so that they wouldnt bug me. The manager very loudly asked me if i had been helped. I said no and that it was no issue, i was taking my time with the menu. Next thing i know this manager is loudly yelling at a younger employee about how she absolutely needs to greet guests as they come in the door. She said it in such a rude way i was immediately uncomfortable. I felt embarrassed for this girl because she was just sweeping the area behind the counter. I dont know if she even saw me. The girl took our order and seemed like she had barely been trained. I felt bad. I knew right away that this girl has probably been thrown into the mix with barely any training because this manager doesnt have the time or patience. I will continue to return to this Kneaders, and I will continue to give this manager bad reviews. It is ridiculous that someone in control is that disrespectful and impatient, especially in this type of facility. I was appalled when she was helping this girl and being so over the top rude and pushy. She expected this girl to learn how to do something that she hasn't been trained for. My first experience was way better and it was during a lunch rush. Don't go when it's dead, because then you can actually hear the manager yelling at her employees. read more

I come here weekly to buy bread. I'm a total bakery snob and since moving to Denver haven't found a really good bakery that I loved, and found it here at Kneaders! I drive up once a week so admittedly I haven't tried much but their bread is great. Their smoothies are also FANTASTIC and I look forward to those weekly as well. I've tried a few of their pastries and haven't been disappointed. Great place if you're looking for a bakery! read more

If you're looking for good baked goods this place has it. Brownies are to die for. If you are hungry and want a good sandwich skip this place and go to Atlanta Bread. You get more for the money. I've had a few sandwiches here now and for the price they are lacking in content. The bread is good but is difficult to find the meat hiding inside. The tables are often dirty even when they aren't very busy which is a real turnoff. read more

Stood in a long line for fifteen minutes, gave my order which was all pre-made items that were in the display cases, then waited over 30 minutes to receive it. As I waited I noticed almost every order that was sent out was brought back for one reason or another. I also witnessed a woman who brought back her soup because it was cold and the staff gave her brought back soup to a customer in the drive thru. A man brought back his sandwich for some reason and it was thrown away and never got a replacement. Also, a woman who came in after me and ordered more than I did was called up to receive her order before me. They got her order wrong as well. When I finally got my blueberry muffin top it was as hard as a rock. I could only eat the bottom of it and even that was not very good. There was a manager, a cook, and a drive-thru worker that we're all doing their jobs, then there were three girls who were all standing there looking at one ticket and when an order was called all of them went to deliver the food. Each carrying one item. At one point a man came up to the counter and asked how much longer it would be and they told him that since he called in an order he didn't get added to the ticket line until he got to the restaurant. When he paid he was added to the back of the line and had to wait even longer. Slowest and most disorganized service I have ever seen. read more

I have never eaten here. Last week I would have given 5 stars for my first time eating here. I ordered to go the Famous Club adding avocado. It was huge! I got 2 meals from it. Tons of meat and nice thin bread. It was delicious! I'm giving 2 stars for now because I am on the fence after ordering to go the French Dip. There was literally 4 inches of bread and a very very thin slice of meat. You couldn't even see the meat unless you pulled the bread apart. Very disappointing after my first experience. I ate two or three bites and tossed the rest. It was like just dipping bread in au jus. A $7 sandwich with $0.50 cents worth of meat. I called the manager and gave him this whole story and he said he understood but never offered any kind of compensation. Not even a measly free cupcake. I may try again in the future but not for awhile I'm afraid. read more

This was my first time at the restaurant. First of all, the food that I received was very tasty. We ordered a salad and a sandwich which were both delightful. However, I went through the drive-thru and part of my order was missing. I didn't discover this until I got home. I usually check, but I had two hungry kids in the car and was distracted keeping them happy. Considering that there was no one in the parking lot or the drive-thru and it was well before the dinner rush, I found it fairly ridiculous that my order was not complete. I called as soon as I got home to see what could be done and was told that I would be taken care of the next time we came in. Well, that's great, but what about offering a refund? We live a good 15 minutes away from the restaurant and only went there because of an appointment we had nearby. I'm frustrated my money was wasted and no offers were made to refund my money. Yes, if we make it there soon, I will for sure see if I can be recompensed, but for now, I'm ticked. read more

This bakery is fairly new to the neighborhood and is fantastic. I agree with some other reviews that the service is either a hit or miss but its because they are a new bakery and this is most of the employees first time working for Kneaders. The pastry chefs come in at 3am every morning to fill up the display cases and they always look amazing. The hearth bread are great too, they usually have samples out which you should take advantage of to give a try. The bakers come in every night to bake fresh bread for the next morning. Kneaders is also very charitable, all of their 2 day old bread they donate to the Denver homeless shelter so it does not go to waste! The food is great, they have a large selection on beverages as well! Each of their smoothies contains real fruit and are all very delicious. If this company keeps a steady staff and continues to train them they will be very successful! read more
