Their customer service will only be able to say 3 words to you "so sorry sir, so sorry sir" NO HELP OR RESOLUTION I rented a Mercedes V class from Leo on April 24th for a pick up in Rome Italy on June 30th, 2025. I went to the location specified on my contract and when I arrived there (it was an Avis/Budget office) I was informed that there was no car or reservation for me. I immediately contacted Elite Rent a Car, spoke to Janet and Violet. I was on the phone with them for 45-55 mns and I was told that they had mistakenly deleted my reservation and they were unable to process a new one. The Avis/budget agent waited until their closing time but Elite was unable to do the reservation. At this point I was stranded with my family, 6 of us. the Avis rep felt very bad and tried to help me and told me they could give me a car but they had to do a new reservation at full cost. Unable to apply any discounts. Also the car was almost 2 hours away. I had no choice so I took a taxi paid close to $100 and went to the location. I picked up the car around 11PM from 5 PM when my ordeal started. The new contract turned out to be $2300 more than my original contract I had stipulated with elite rent a car. I have been trying to talk to elite and Leo since June 30th. I've called around 30 times and sent numerous emails. They have never returned my calls or emails. I've spoken to Janet, Danny, Violet, Vivian, Lisa (very nasty) Ana, Emma and Sue. The words were always the same "so sorry sir, so sorry sir" we will investigate and call you back also we will make sure Leo calls you. Today is July 13th. No one has contacted me or provide an explanation as to what happened. I have called them everyday day (made at least 30 calls). I only received promises about someone getting back to me. Don't go here!!!…read more As mentioned in my previous review about the Sherman Oaks Enterprise I went to last time that didn't have any cars, I had to come here to the Van Nuys Enterprise and get my car because they actually have available cars on their lot. So when my Porsche was involved in a hit and run on Valentine's Day, I decided to come straight to this location and rent my car. Everything started off well--They picked me up, brought me to their location, and rented the car to me. The man who helped me was very nice and I enjoyed his work. They don't have luxury cars here, so I wasn't going to get anything comparable to my Porsche. They did have a Camry so I asked for that. It looked like it had just been dropped off by another customer dirty inside and out. I told the man helping me and he had it sprayed down. Car was pretty basic, had scratches, dents and looked like a previous driver had run into something with the front bumper. I paid almost $500 upfront because I had no idea when my Porsche would be out of the shop. A week goes by and the manager Christian Aguilar is calling me asking when I'm brining the car back and that my card wasn't working and they need to escalate it to the risk department. Risk department??? When you charge an Amex card over and over it thinks it's fraud and won't let the charge go through. Also the $500 I paid covered more than a week so why am I being sent to the risk department? I called them immediately and told them that I had already paid and that I am also waiting for my insurance to take over payments because it was a hit and run. I told Christian I was in talks with my insurance on how to proceed and he said ok. The next day I'm getting emails and letters from the risk department saying this car is now considered stolen and they are getting police involved. I was in constant communication with Christian and he knew exactly what I was going through. I even tried to give them another card over the phone and they said I had to come in and do so while I'm battling COVID all week. Luckily my Porsche was delivered to me last night and I drove that busted Camry to an Enterprise drop off lot in Encino. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. And to think my last experience was bad enough at the other branch and someone from the Enterprise team reached out to me to ask what happened via email. When I told them, I never heard back...Not a call, not a discount for next visit, nothing! Needless to say I will not be using Enterprise anymore, at least not in this area. They don't know how to treat their customers who are already dealing with the stress of having their car damaged from a hit and run driver and dealing with insurance etc. Renting a car should be a breeze but Enterprise has shown that they do not care about you and just want your money. Huge shout out to Leslie & her manager, Bensa, for phenomenal service…read more Not long after my car insurance company (AAA) informed me that my car insurance policy included a rental vehicle, Leslie reached out to me directly. I let her know that I still needed to figure some logistics out - finding a day that works to come-in & arrange the rental. Fast forward to a few days later, Bensa was more than accommodating when I followed-up over the phone to let them know that I was coming in (as a heads-up to make sure that a compatible vehicle for my policy was available). Upon coming-in, Leslie took the very best care of me. The whole process was flawless, especially since Enterprise worked with my insurance company to establish my reservation. A Mitsubishi Mirage in solid condition took care of all of my needs & was fully covered for the 30 days that I needed a vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle, manager Bensa was a delight to work with & the process could not had been any smoother & speedy. Not only that, but you can tell that Bensa really cares about customer satisfaction - you're not just another "business transaction", but he really treats you like a decent human being (something that unfortunately is rather lacking in today's world). Needless to say, I would most definitely recommend Enterprise North Hollywood (on Lankershim Blvd). Make sure to ask for Leslie & Bensa.
