It comes on top of a strip of pita with a (looked-like) flame-grilled pepper and whole tomato. Low effort and not well-executed. I'd rather of had my tomato cooked through. Maybe even marinated. It basically tasted like it was just tossed on the grill for a few minutes. My friends all had the same salmon dish. They all felt it was okay. I actually thought I wrote a review on this when we went for Father's Day this yr, but guess I forgot. Oh well, better late than never! Even though this wasn't my choice, and I was set up for the "okie-doke", it still ended being 7very nice! First off, the place is very nice and well decorated! I think I remember the health score being in the 90's. My husband got the steak, which was very good. I got some sort of pasta (can't remember the name of it), but it was good. I went on a Monday night for a friend's birthday dinner as I've never heard of this spot although they've been there about 2 years per one of the employees. Upon arrival there is only the option to valet for $20 in a crammed lot. The young adults parking the cars seemed bored and had little to no urgency when trying to park or even return the vehicles. This theme continued throughout our dining experience. The guy checking ids and bags was really the only person paying attention to the customers. When we first entered nobody greeted or really acknowledged us nor was there a clear table set up for a party of 6 although we had reservations. So it took a few minutes for us to be seated and then it took forever for our food and drinks to come out although the place was not that busy for the bar to be "slammed". Our first round of cocktails took a good 15-20 minutes I'd say and my drink included a $13 glass of brut that was served warm. I also tried the $18 high heel which is a vodka cocktail and it was just ok. The $20 367 tequila drink was very good and the only thing I'd buy if I ever returned, but I won't. Each round of drinks took so long that we eventually cancelled our green tea shots and final round of cocktails, but the bartender had already made them so they sent them out anyway for free which was nice of them. The food service was also very slow. We found ourselves looking for our server way too many times. I tried the $10 hummus and it needs some work as I've had more flavorful hummus from grocery stores. Our table had a variety of dishes - two $44 brazino dishes (one person liked it and another didn't), two orders of the $52 lamb chops which were a hit although very thin, a $34 salmon dish which was enjoyed and I had the $44 lamb shank which was absolutely delicious and it was a pretty large portion size as I had a lot left to go. Our reservation was for 815p and at 9p the music gets really loud and changes the dinner vibe into a weird club scene. There's also hookah available to smoke of course. The ladies restroom only includes two stalls so when they are busy thats probably annoying. The space is decently sized, but somehow still feels crammed. The beautiful decor, birthday/anniversary sign and free dessert are probably the only reason most people visit this place. But I won't be back to dine in, but possibly to grab a to go order if that's even an option. read more

I ordered the salmon and it was really delicious it came with saffron rice and asparagus. I enjoyed my order my partner got the burger which unfortunately was very hard on one side. The meat seem to have been in the microwave or oven for way too long but they did take the burger off of our receipt so that was acceptable. This is a Mediterranean restaraunt that offers beautifully plated dishes and drinks. They also offer hookah if that's your thing. The food and drinks I had were pretty good. I ordered the salmon, which came with rice and fingerling potatoes. Everything was tasty in my book. Their cocktails are beautiful as well. This definitely is a place for an experience. The aesthetics in the restaurant are very nice and picture worthy. They also offer pictures to purchase. We went on a Sunday night and there was a dj that definitely had the tunes going and created a great vibe. Our waiter was good and pretty attentive given we were such a huge party. The food itself was okay. I don't think I'm really into Mediterranean food. It always comes out dry and flavorless. I ordered the salmon, and it was butchered, like it was already dead, but it died again in that kitchen. I also go the Greek Octopus; I mean they did what they could. Not appetizer at all! So I enjoyed this place. I like Mediterranean food a lot so this was a good spot to check out. It is a little bit more on the somewhat expensive side so keep that in mind. But once you go in you'll kind of see why it's like that. First and foremost you have to pay for parking. If you go somewhere else and walk, that's an option, but here you might be paying about $20 to park ballet. There isn't a lot of option specifically here as far as self parking goal so just keep that in mind. After you get your car situated you'll come up the steps and you'll notice that they are spots for the outside sitting area. Like maybe or three or so couches are there which is nice because if it's a nice day you get to sit on the main street and drink your drink, it's seems very comfortable. I was walking to the door and the doorman open the door and gave a greeting so I thought that was really good starting off as far as customer service goes. Ended up coming in and getting seated right by the door but the whole restaurant is beautiful. There's vines hanging to give to an ambiance comment is fairly dim and lit but nothing wrong with that. If you go toward the back there's a lot more light and a lot more tables to sit at versus booths. The bar is super big and very well put together and organized. Waitress was super nice and gave a lot of explanations to the menu. Gave her suggestions, I thought that was awesome, I really wish that I remember her name unfortunately, but all of the wait staff I've talked to there have been very nice and very pleasant to talk to. So a gold stock for everybody across the board. Coming during happy hour was a good move, you have small bites and drinks that are available on the happy hour menu between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. throughout the week. It made me want to try quite a few things just because! Shrimp bravas - This was basically cooked shrimp, what seems to be off the grill, in a spicy sauce. They were about five shrimp there, so it was cooked okay, but the sauce was the star that show for this dish. It had an impact, it was tangy and spicy and gave a lot of flavor! Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts are okay. They seemed like they were missing something though. They may have had maybe salt and pepper but not a lot of flavor as far as anything else but the char because they were fried. But let me tell you, using the shrimp bravas spicy sauce on them really sent them over the top. So that was a major key for that appetizer! Caesar salad - Caesar salad was okay, nothing major. Could you a little more dressing but it was good overall, but it was a salad so it wasn't anything out of the box. Marinated chicken - So for the entree I end up getting to marinated chicken. Now the mayonnaise chicken was okay, it was almost $30 and it came with basically one skewer of chicken. Typically I would have expected more than one skewer so I don't know if it was worth it for the price. And one schooler had about perhaps seven or eight pieces of chicken. It was grilled pretty well, it was a little bit more affirm than I would like, I would usually like the chicken to be tender to the touch versus a little bit harder, well let me not say harder but at the same time, the chicken was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. But it had a pretty decent flavor though so I'm not super mad about that but it was just to note. It came with a nice helping of rice, a cooked tomato and a cooked yellow pepper, and some pickled onions for what it looks like. Everything was really tasty though overall. The rice was really good. I didn't really eat the whole tomato, but I know what a tomato supposed to taste like so They basically just put it on the grill for a little bit to give it some char and some heat to Go with the chicken. It came on a piece of pizza, not a really big piece but just enough to lay under the chicken. Inferno - ended up getting a drink because there was a lot of stuff going on and I had to move my table so the drink was good. It was a tequila based drink and it was spicy and I appreciate it the tequila and the spice that went into it. So if you like a little heat, the inferno was a good choice. Overall at the end of the day, this is a really good spot for if you have a group setting. Was in town last minute and used yelp to look up places close to me. Saw this Mediterranean restaurant so went into Open Table and made a reservation. Once we got there we were seated pretty quickly (8:15pm) and that must have been the right time because the place started to pick up as it approached 9pm. Anyway, our server was very nice and attentive. The food was very good and flavorful. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and also hummus as an appetizer. For main course I just did the burger and the wife did the calamari with a side of rice. We couldn't finish because we wanted to save room for dessert. Chocolate lava cake to top off the meal. First and foremost, I should have looked at the menu/the price before I agreed to go here, now we've been here before and didn't have an issue especially on a busy night that wasn't a holiday in a way. The salad was not that great so I did not eat it all. The lobster ravioli they gave us (you) one ravioli and when I say one, I mean, one basic ravioli that was small (wouldn't feed a toddler) and my steak had to be like a 6 ounce, I asked for medium cooked and it was dry, I didn't even eat all my food. Now, if you see, it says $150 per person and it says desert is a slice of cake, they gave us one slice of cake (not 2) and a cheap ass glass of Champagne. I order one of their valentine specialty drinks, which was $18, a bottle of sparkling water, and also a bottle of Prosecco, and a hookah, our tab had to come to $600 when I say my mouth drop when my boyfriend told me that because of the amount of food that we received was not worth $300, it literally was only worth $150. Our tab should've been about $350 or $400. I'm not going back to knife. But I can't say my server was great, so the gratuity was definitely worth going to her. No I didn't take pictures of my food because I was really not trying to complain and enjoy myself. We left still hungry and end up going to Slice for pizza. read more
