In October when I tried using the heat, it would not come on. I tried finding a reset button but couldn't, that's when I noticed the "new" pump was covered in dust. I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. Once the work was completed, the back office sent an office for the amount for the whole estimated time even though it took less than half the time (~1.5hrs). When the invoice was received it was a shocker since based on the communication prior to the work it was agreed to be per hour basis. After refutation, the invoice was revised to a lower number but still did not reflect the hours the technician worked. Its been a struggle to ensure alignment - I would not recommend them for any work!

When hardware was available, I received a friendly e-mail for possible scheduling dates. Eric arrived right on time and got right to the job. He used drop clothes to protect floor and counters, cut away bath tiles to access old piping, ran new water feeds to a new, single handle control valve. Installed matching spout, drain, shower and matching decorative trim plate to cover the new control valve. At the end, Eric checked the valve scald setting to endure safety of the new water output. We were shown what he was doing as the project progressed, and he cleaned up all trash to our satisfaction at the end. Eric was here about 5 hours and was totally professional and friendly throughout. We are totally satisfied. Laamco has maintained our old HVAC system for decades, and recently installed a replacement system. They have installed a new water heater as well. We are completely satisfied with the technicians, plumbers and staff at Laamco. We highly recommend them for any heating, cooling or plumbing service or maintenance.

I scheduled an AC tune up with A-Tech. One of our units in the attic takes a long time to cool and…read moreI wanted to get the problem diagnosed. The other unit works great but I thought it might be good to get that tuned. Dan Winn was nice to schedule an appointment though it took 3-4 tries to get appointment scheduled. He was recommended by a co-worker at work. He quoted me between $100-110 per unit for tune up / diagnosis which sounded reasonable. Dan looked at the first unit and found that it wasn't cooling as expected. He did fill in some refrigerant but that didn't help either. The cooling temp pressure was not as expected (67 vs expected 45 as I was told). Dan indicated that it would need further triage for which he will have to come again .. Dan asked to monitor the system for few days and call him back as it may behave better with some new refrigerant. I am not expecting it to as the unit is working same as before. The 2nd unit didn't had any issues and was diagnosed to be working fine. In the end when all said and done, he handed me invoice for $365 for $200-220 job that he had quoted. I paid it but I was expecting better service. I am where I started and still have same issue. Dan did nothing different to address what I already knew. You are better looking for someone else who can diagnose and fix the problem when they are going to charge you for their services. Dan seems like a nice guy but lacked integrity in what he said and what he delivered. I won't use him again. I will pay someone more but would like to get problem addressed.
