Upon exiting the elevator we were instantly hit with a musty oder. Once we entered our room the smell about knocked us over. I couldn't pin pint the smell exactly maybe mold. The room appeared clean enough upon our first initial observation. We continued on checking the room. We always check our beds for friends. I pulled back the sheets and found a bug between the sheets. I captured it in a cup and brought it to the front desk. I apologized but told him unfortunately we were unable to comfortably stay at this facility. The front desk was so apologetic. However the manager was not as helpful. He refuse to do anything for us. A refund was refused and we were dismissed. I was willing to look past uncovered outlets, broken handles even the smell but drew a line at bugs in the bed. I would advise you against this facility. The manager is extremely rude. This is not how a reputable establishment should conduct business. This was no fault of our own but negligence on the part of the hotel..I believe we fairly should have received a refund, an apology or something. We never even sat our luggage down. The room was left undisturbed. These issues were seriously what we encountered just walking to our room. I can only imagine what else would have went wrong had we decided to stay.

Outside of those hours, you are only allowed to contact them to check in. The room is seedy and dirty, the towels are like thin hand towels. The tv didn't work. The sheets and pillow cases were worn and uncomfortable. The room was non-smoking, the person staying in the room next to us would stand in his doorframe and smoke. The smoke would seep into our room so badly, it smelled like he had been smoking in the room. I asked him (nicely) to please walk to the end of the sidewalk to smoke. He was snarky and told me he had been there for three months and it wasn't a problem. My husband emailed management. They said they would take care of it. They didn't. I asked management the next day (rather pointedly) to please solve the problem. Management said they didn't see my husband's email, they accused me of threatening them. They asked the smoker to move 30 ft away from his room to smoke. He didn't and they didn't say anything. Never again. Ever. Stay away from here. Zero stars should be an option

Managers on property were understanding and supportive but couldn't process the refund. OYO group however is the worst customer service team I've ever dealt with! Rude and trying to give me the runaround and hoping I'll just let it go because no real resolutions or even communication has been given to me. A simple reversal of credit back to my account doesn't take this long. Do the right thing! Do not deal with oyo group- avoid there properties because they clearly value money over Happy guests and customer service.

But the real struggle was the service when we went to breakfast. The eggs were somehow rubbery and soggy, and the pancakes burnt and cold. My wife is a professional chef and said it's one of the worst breakfasts she's ever had. But we weren't going to say anything. But when the innkeeper came around to take our plates and asked "Are you done," we even pleasantly responded "Yes, thank you." But when she turned away and saw food left on our plates she mumbled "what a waste!" Again, we weren't going to say anything...but we quietly told her "There's food left because it was terrible." Instead of "Sorry you didn't like it" the innkeeper said "You don't know what you're talking about!" Who says this to guests? A professional chef doesn't know bad eggs and pancakes? Even without a professional chef, if a guest doesn't like your food you don't respond like that. She then said you should take a teaspoon of everything first too see if you like it. What?? No, you should expect the food to be edible. Then when I went to check out she held her hand out and said "keys." That's it. So I dropped them on the desk. She said "Have a day." Ridiculous guest service. I thanked her sarcastically for the "great service." And her response was "Whatever." Really class act

The Inn would be a great place for the wedding party to stay at. We stayed at the Norman Little room. It's not big, but honestly, since we only stayed for one evening, the size of the room didn't really matter. The most important thing was having an en suite bathroom and we had that. The next was a comfy bed, and we had that, too. The host was very kind and walked us to our room and we asked for additional pillows and she brought them right away. Since we're old and boring, laying in bed to watch Netflix was about the perfect ending to a great evening. Since we've never been here before, we didn't really know what to expect for breakfast. I wasn't expecting gourmet, so seeing hot eggs, potatoes, sausages, pancakes, and all the other basics (bagels, hardboiled eggs, etc.) was quite impressive. Coffee was coffee, k-cups and regular drip. Again, I don't come to a B&B to get fancy coffee, as long as it gets my heart started, that's all I need. I'm not sure what the pricing is like in the summer, but it was an awesome deal during the off-season. I would love to stay there again some time.

I tried to order a PBR draft, but none of the draft taps were working at that point, so I decided on a Labatt's bottle. I was a bit peckish, so I ordered an Olive Burger and onion rings. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked, and loaded with chopped olives and Swiss cheese. This would be a place that I would come back to, when the draft taps were working, and I had more time to sit back and relax.
