I needed a last minute screen printing job and was recommended to Sam, the owner of Under Pressure,…read moreby another local business who couldn't fulfill my small batch. You can either order products directly with Sam or bring your own. Sam prefers extra time to complete a job to make sure the screen print looks and works well on your products. Unfortunately, I was on a painfully tight timeline and needed this order fulfilled in a matter of days to account for shipping as well. If you need a math problem, here you go: I brought in my own bags (33, Total: $2,437.00). The screen printing job cost $333.00. After completion, Sam notified me he butchered the first bag since that was the test product, that leaves 32 viable bags. When I came home, I noticed there were 3 bags off-centered; his error, not the bag's. Each bag cost around $74. Therefore, I needed to purchase 4 more bags for him to redo (Total: $296.00). So, in addition to the $333 job order + the repurchase of additional bags due to damage ($296.00), my total order was $629.00... Though I am grateful for Sam being able to complete a rush job, I wish he would have compensated for the damage and misalignments, but it is what it is.

I can't sing the praises of Under Pressure Screen Printing Enough. The quality of the T-shirts and…read morethe printing results were all excellent. I had to make a few changes during the time I was working with Sam and the answer from him was always "no problem." We had a huget T-shirt order, I had to change the quantities, then I decided to change which type of T-shirt I wanted and then I wanted to change the size of the image--always "no problem." I love working with a business that caters to the customer. Truly a great experience and one bonus plus that I didn't expect is that it's possible to easily park right in front of the business so no hassles. Loved it.

I love love love this store and the people who work here. The yarns here are great quality and…read morebeautiful colors. I especially love the sirdar jewelspun chunky with wool yarn (color blend: mother of Pearl..check out my video for how gorgeous these colors were) where I managed to get two beanies out of a single ball! But the best thing here are the lessons by Carrie Au. I'm a teacher myself and I can recognize an excellent teacher and Carrie is absolutely that. With just two lessons from her, I was able to basically do everything I needed to make 90% of what I could ever want to make. I then had spent a couple of months crocheting different things and came back for another more advanced lesson. Carrie knows all the yarn arts and can do things both right and left handed. And she has so many helpful tips that she's learned from experience that I never saw on any YouTube video or website tutorial (and in fact there are popular things out there i learned from her were NOT good things to do). If you want to learn (crochet or knitting), so worth coming here to take lessons (beginner through advanced). The other benefit is that their yarns and hooks are good quality so if you start here, you'll have such a better time and be more likely to continue.

First, the sheep is sated by her attention to the coffee and wine bar in the shop (how cool is…read morethis!). There is a large table next to the bar where classes and gatherings can be held. Another Very Smart Thing is that the yarns are sorted by gauge and cutely and clearly marked. The person on staff was helpful and I enjoyed talking with her. If I find myself in the area I'll certainly stop again.
