The message was sent at 7:30am eastern time. They are supposed to be in the same time zone. No response. Which is sketchy because they were very responsive prior to the order being placed. But of course they were. Followed up Saturday afternoon. Still nothing. Then Sunday afternoon an inbox response asking for a contact number. I'm not sure why a contact number was needed to answer the question. Either yes or no! You don't need to call me for that. Which was a clear indication that this boutique was on some foolish mess. Then when I make a comment on a post regarding the lack of customer service, they are able to respond. Claiming that they have to check with the production warehouse first. I'm sure that only entailed either checking their storefront or checking their storage/garage. Now they are mad because I inquired and refunded the order. They claimed the item would ship 8/24 and be delivered by 8/26... Piss poor customer service... I'm not sure why I expected different from this type of online social media boutique... Also they need to update their information. If your business phone number is not in service, remove it

They placed their clearance items in the front of the store which is convenient before getting to the back of the store. The only reason why I didn't give this store a full 5 is the staffing issues they are dealing with. The teenagers are young but they haven't been fully trained to do their job before the store opened. It's ok though the manager is doing her best. One of the staff members mentioned they are doing interviews in the back so maybe in some months the store's customer service will be a littler better. I love the self scanning system too! Amber and Dee helped me pick out outfits, advised me on size, and even put things away for me that they thought I would like. That is awesome customer service! There are covid protocols for standing in line as you check out and all of the salespeople, as well as the customers are wearing masks. They clean the counter between customers. I loved that safety protocol. I love how the store is arranged, so all of the infant clothing is in one section. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Carter's has clothing for more mature kids too. When I got them I called and asked a question, my question was answered with incorrect information leading me to return the boots. Apparently at that time I was talking to an owner she said she would send out another pair of boots immediately but did not. When I should have received the replacement boots I got a call asking about the boots I returned...When I got the second pair of boots several weeks later they did not fit. If I had gotten correct information on the first pair of boots I would have kept them. I had already paid return postage, I have asked for a shipping label to return the second pair of boots. I have left approximately 8 unreturned emails, at least one unreturned voicemail, probably more, and had at least three people tell me they would call me back and have not. The last two times I have called have been during business hours and I didn't even get an answer! I used to work at Four Winds. Net and never in a million years would we have treated anyone like this!

The manager and asst. manager at the Rockville store changed about six months ago and I can feel…read morethe difference in the store. No one greeted me or offered to help me. I had to come out of the dressing room to find additional sizes...no one spoke with me except a women who I think might be the new store manager, complimented my skirt choice as she came out of the back and then left for the day. The associate that finally helped me at the desk, seemed put-upon to assist me with a return and online order. I decided not to purchase rather than allow the store to benefit. It has been my practice to go into the stores for orders, even though online can be more convenient, because I enjoy shopping at the brick and mortar stores and want them to have the traffic and sales to ensure they will be there. I will not return to THIS store again. When I used to come to the store I was always greeted, helped with finding items, given suggestions, etc. The old managers always knew where products were located, even if they were in the back and were interested in EVERYONE getting solid, professional service. That no longer seems to be the case. I came during the evening on a weekday after work. What was supposed to be a pleasant finish to my day was just the opposite. I will not be back.
