Signed agreement to rent out my house for 8k/mo. Took a day off to have their handyman do some minor repairs around the house. Instead, the 'handyman' caused thousands in damages. Got quotes ranging from $5-7k to fix the damages. The entire house needs to be repainted now when it was in good condition prior! Derrick has been no help - offered no apologies, showed no urgency, simply stated the handyman is a third party and they have no responsibility. Oh, and they destroyed a down jacket. As a rental property owner and landlord, I would never treat my tenants they way I was treated when I rented a property in Las Vegas from Keller N Jadd. The move out process was by far the worst I have ever dealt with. They expect tenants to pay for carpet cleaning and look for every possible way to nickel and dime you until there is hardly any deposit refund back. I'm very careful and take care of places when I rent and there is no excuse for the way they handled that. I would never work with Keller N Jadd. I'm a current tenant who enjoys a strong relationship with the property owner, while Keller n Jadd simply serves as the property management company. I've rented through Keller n Jadd for nearly eight years, and I've paid my rent on time approximately 98% of the time. However, like many people, I've occasionally needed a bit of flexibility--and unfortunately, that's something they seem entirely unwilling to offer. Their rent collection practices are unnecessarily rigid and, frankly, borderline predatory. Despite a nearly flawless payment history, if rent isn't paid by the third of the month, a late fee is immediately assessed. By the sixth, a seven-day notice is already issued--before the seven-day window has even technically begun. Recently, I informed them I'd be paying on the eighth and asked for a little understanding. Predictably, they refused. The late fee was enforced, which I understand, but I was also hit with an eviction notice with no regard for my long-standing history as a reliable tenant. Worse, if you're more than five days late, they shut off your access to the online payment portal and force you to physically drive across town to hand-deliver a check. This is punitive and completely unnecessary--especially considering they normally accept electronic payments from the same bank accounts without issue. It's clear the inconvenience is intentional, serving no purpose other than to make the experience as unpleasant as possible. As someone who owns two properties in Michigan held in our family trust--and who has over 24 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending--I can say with confidence that this is not how quality tenants should be treated. My uncle owned one of the largest property management companies in Plymouth and Canton, Michigan, and I've helped manage rent collections myself. I'd never allow a management company to treat our tenants this way. In short, if I were a property owner in Nevada, I would never trust Keller n Jadd to manage my investment. Their practices alienate good tenants and reflect poorly on the owners they represent. It's a textbook example of how to undermine valuable landlord-tenant relationships through poor management and tone-deaf policy enforcement. read more

My water is blue. I've been complaining about it for a year, to at least 3 people. Their answer: that's just Las Vegas water!!! Doe's anyone else have blue water? Someone told me my main sewage line looks like sludge and the cap had melted. They sent the fire marshal out. What?!?!? I have also told 2 different people that my master bedroom (because of the master bath) smells like sewage at least 3/'month. I'm sure that's a job for the fire marshal. WTF?????? To clarify, my group had a credit score over 800 and over $100k in income. They still took our money, offered no condo, and then didn't even recommend a backup. We have had them as our rental management company for five years. The A/C went out this Friday, the first day of Labor Day weekend. We were worried we would be without air all weekend but the maintenance group got us some temporary A/C units by Friday night and the A/C was repaired by Saturday. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services. I was asked to submit an application for an apartment, which is a non-refundable fee. Of course, this is absolutely standard and not at all the problem. The problem is that I was barely asked any preliminary questions before being told to submit an application. My move in date was supposed to be about a month out and correspond with the next billing month for rent. If I had been asked when my move-in date was when I initially inquired, they could have told me right on the phone that the owner was looking for someone with a closer move-in date and that would have been no problem whatsoever. Instead, I paid $75 and was called at 7pm the night before to schedule seeing the apartment immediately the next day. On that call (after submitting my application and paying) I was asked my move-in date for the first time and was told straight up that might not work out. After taking time off from work to see the apartment the following day I was texted 1-hour before needing to meet at the location to see the apartment that my application was denied and they went with another party whose move-in date was immediate. My main complaint is: why not just ask when I'm moving in before taking $75 from me? And then cancelling an hour before a viewing is just not professional. I know that no one ever chooses their Real Estate Agents, they choose a property and just have to deal with whoever is on the other side - especially during covid - but I felt this was just helpful to share. read more

One of the worst property management companies I've ever dealt with. I rented a condo from Keller N' Jadd in an HOA community and received several harassing letters from the HOA regarding a dog I never owned. They listed this property as per friendly without checking with the HOA rules about renters in this particular community. The HOA could sent some picture claiming I had dogs in my place; none whatsoever; I own a cat; paid my deposit for one, but still charged a violation fee. No protection or backing from Keller N' Jadd just told to pay the fine; Moved out; sent a huge bill for old rundown carpet and oh this is a good one; and old smoke detector. I listed all these conditions in my inspection and still held responsible for this! read more

We've had a great experience with Keller N' Jadd. We relocated from Arizona to Las Vegas and they made the move-in stress free. The house was also in beautiful condition. My water heater went out the other day. I put in a maintenance ticket through their portal and received a message from their Maintenance Coordinator within an hour. They switched out the water heater within about 4 hours after submitting the ticket. Amazing! read more

There is no honor among thieves, including this property management company. This company fails in all aspects of customer service. Phone calls and emails are often not returned. Seriously...customer service is all ABOUT communicating with the customer. How can you run a business and not return calls and emails? Maybe it is because they don't give a damn about their customers and only care about what is in their wallets. Requests to attend final property walk-throughs are not acknowledged. Initial condition reports are not compared to final condition reports and customers are incorrectly charged for repair costs. Customers are also charged for cleaning costs for items that are not indicated anywhere on the lease. Good lord, how does this type of incompetence stay in business? Maybe it's because the one thing they excel at it draining every nickel and dime they can squeeze from their customers. All of their business practices seem sketchy at best. I never missed a rent payment, kept the property in top condition, and even made improvements, none of which were ever acknowledged. I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB in order to get my deposit back. I am not impressed with this company and will never do business with them again, and will do my best to spread the word to others. There are plenty of other capable and professional property management companies that will deal with you fairly. This is not one of them. read more

When I chose to rent from a rental company instead of a personal contact(s) of mine. I did the research on property management companies and found some, so I sent off what I was looking for in a place to rent, location, price, amenities, rental requirements, etc. I heard back from a few with very minimal information, except when I got a reply from Keller N Jadd. They replied within a day and answered all my questions that I had asked in my initial inquiry. They had send me information on properties that were what I was looking for. I had a call from one of the property agents, and I thought they were very helpful and polite and answered my questions. I did schedule a showing and got too see two houses that I liked, one was great, but the one I really liked, the one I chose to apply for. They were quick to get me set up to move in and there was not any issues, everything ran smoothly since the first inquiry. I really feel they care about their tentants and their prospects, they are alway through with their calls, lease signing, matientace calls. I have not had any issues with the home I chose. I couldn't ask for a nicer staff and property management company that truly cares about their homes and tenants needs and wants. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy. read more

I changed my mind completely. I don't know how the people who run this company sleep at night knowing how badly they rip off all their tenants making it seem as if they are at fault. I understand that you have to pinch as many pennies as possible...? But don't do it unfairly on a continuous basis and blame the tenant when things in a 20 year old home begin to break. I've fought tooth and nail for things you wouldn't even believe and a reputable company would never dare even execute. They also raised my rent $700 a month when I renewed. And in a horrible manner. Keller N Jadd took advantage of us. We were from out of state and looking online for a house to rent. We applied online based on the listing showing the house as 'available' which cost $110 for two applications (separate fee for each renter). When I called the next day to confirm receipt, I was told the house was NOT available and they didn't know when it would be available, since the owner was still living in it. Keller N Jadd refused to refund our money even though they made it clear they could not meet our deadline. Only after filing with the BBB did they offer a partial refund 'in good faith', as if it was our fault. Well I guess it was our fault--they lied and we believed them. This must be how Keller N Jadd pays their overhead, by collecting application fees from unsuspecting people. Very disappointed that a real estate company would take advantage of potential future home buyers. Keller N Jadd obviously believes there is an unlimited supply of application fees out there. Well, we may have just moved here, but we have already and will continue to spread the word about Keller N Jadd. read more

They never questioned the maintenance issues, just took care of it. I work a lot of hours and they always made sure to find companies that could work around my schedule. Well I am back. So I get a text message from a field rep for Keller N Jadd wanting to set up an "annual" inspection. ok but I have been here for 3 years and there has NEVER been an annual inspection. Ok no worries we agreed upon a day and time. well then a day letter I receive a notice that they won't wait one more day for the inspection. I have 2 dogs so I told them they would be held responsible. The reply was they would call animal control. Oh but first my property manager immediately threatens me with charging me $500.00 for each lease agreement (3) for not having paying 2 deposits for 2 dogs. Please look at my lease and you will see 2 dogs are on there, this was an agreement we had 3 years ago so why is this an issue now??? So they will call animal control and have my dogs taken away just so they can come in and look around when they can just wait one more day when I can get off work a little early to meet them. Beware ladies and gentlemen. I paid for my dogs to be there and now they want to call animal control when they are save and sound in their own home. Gee that is messed up. read more

This is a review I should have written years ago. I do not recommend Keller N Jadd. They "managed" our home rental a few years back. When they had a chance to collect from our tenant that bailed early on their lease, they did not. Said "that's just the way it is". They then had the audacity to send us to collections for the tenants utility bill. Even though we paid it, the "collection" remains on our credit report. They declined an offer for a buyout of the lease to the tune of $5000.00 from the tenant, then expected us to buy the final electric bill. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT recommend Keller N Jadd for property management. I'm surprised they are still in business. read more
