The commissioner is weak and easily intimidated by members of region 71 board. The board members are classless locals. Your average run of the mill raci*ts. The coaches are no longer members of the community, but are brought in from Van Nuys, and other vagrant neighborhoods. The parents are insufferable. From the gossip and over dramatized low brow refs to the soft heads of this region the whole thing is a sh*t show. Bring security with you to practices and games. Record everything and stay safe out there.

They don't realize that they are only paying for the uniforms and field permits. Everything else such as coaches and referee are all volunteer position requiring parents to step up and get involved in their children activity. Some how the West Hills community seems to think of soccer as a hobby or daycare and very very few get involved. Tip: for the parents help your kids team prep the field, setup and goals, help paint the lines, help clean the field, remove debris and rock. Everyone you see out there is working for free. Let's go West Hills step up. My kids have aged out and had a wonderful time.

The staff and coaches are extremely friendly, however the management is lazy and unresponsive. I sent over an email asking them for some details about their spring festival and never heard back. Also the goal net has had a tear in it for week, allowing my son to escape (dangerously). They've not attempted to fix it at all. After finally being fed up, I fixed it myself in under 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that the manager can't even do simple things like answer emails or put up a couple caribeaner clips. Also the trash can outside looks like hasn't been emptied in at least a month. The bag underneath is torn and the trash is overflowing onto the walkway. It's disgusting. I would probably overlook that if the manager wasn't so lazy and unresponsive, but alas... We probably won't be signing up for the next session.

Just a week or two ago they were able to press one of my jersey. I didn't have the number kit and advise me to get one and they would be able to press it I mean I'm reasonable, and I understand rules can change, but I did buy my jersey on your website and still not be able to get it pressed is a bit disappointing. After I left the store I called two of their other locations. Both of them told me they could press my jersey and that I would just need to pay for the jersey number installation. That left me confused because I was getting completely different answers from different Nicky's Sports locations. I called back to speak with the manager Jason hoping to get some clarification. Unfortunately he didn't seem very concerned and simply told me he had to follow the owner's instructions. I understand there may be some risk involved with pressing customer jerseys and I respect that. My issue is that there doesn't seem to be consistent communication or policies between locations. If the policy has changed it should have been communicated clearly to both employees and customers. What should have been a quick and simple service turned into a frustrating experience. Because of this I won't be doing business with Nicky's Sports anymore in person or online. I'll be buying my jerseys elsewhere, or to another local shop that values having values there business while displaying good communication and customer service.

I understand that receiving a negative review is frustrating, but I believe the better approach would have been to calmly listen to my concerns and try to resolve the issue. Your tone during the call felt quite cranky and defensive, which made the situation even more disappointing. I did receive the information HOWEVER, I followed up with "great how can I make a deposit? Can I swing by to view the space?" Never received a reply. I figured it's a business they are likely busty. So I made it a point to visit to hopefully secure a spot for the birthday party. I was advised to visit after 8pm as someone to help would likely be there at that time. In addition I was told to try calling the number I had already tried connecting with. My issue isn't so much not being able to host an event here as much as it's the lack of communication. I waited a few days as I usually like to give the benefit of the doubt...which then lead me to lose potential other locations for the event. Just not great business.
