They have a new dentist on staff. He did not even introduce himself just told me to "open my mouth"...... I have always recommended Knox Bridge to others with dental anxiety and in need of gentle dentistry. Not anymore. With the cost of nitrous at $200 and unaffordable to most , the least they can do is be kind to the patients and treat them with a little respect. If you need a gentle dentistry practice that puts patient comfort first, Knox Bridge is no longer that place. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I would not recommend them to anyone. First, and probably the biggest problem I have, they were not in my dental insurance network. I did not know after 3 visits and I finally found out when I was looking at my dental claims. They did not tell me. Due to this, I was out $877 since they were out of network. That is an insane amount of money to be out of because you didn't know they weren't in network. Second, I would cry at every visit I had. Whether it be by pain, anxiety, or sticker shock at what I was being charged. My mouth would be open with tears streaming down my face and work was still being done. They didn't even offer a tissue to pat them dry. Third, in my previous visit to put my crown in, they kept hounding me for money. At one point, I was lightly crying since I found out they weren't in network and the assistant came in with her calculator app open showing me that everything was going to cost me over $700 after the $907 I spent previously. I couldn't leave since they still needed to put the crown on. Speaking of the crown appointment, my appointment was at 3 and I didn't get the dentist until 3:50. During those 50 minutes, I was hounded for financials and kept being told "only a few more minutes". When he finally came in to put the permanent crown on, I told him that it was pressing on my gums and it wasn't fitting right. He told me that I would get used to it since the temporary crown was a different shape. I waited 5 days and I did not get used to it. I went to another dentist and they said I was hitting hard on that tooth so no wonder I was feeling something there. At the end of this visit, I was hounded yet again about financials. The only redeemable fact about this dentist is that they found an infection in an old root canal so I was able to get that fixed in time to save the tooth. The front staff is really nice but I'll never forgive them for not telling me I wasn't in network. read more

I was seeking a dentist that took Delta Dental and had Saturday appointments. This facility said they took Delta. What they didn't tell me is that they're not in network. I find this to be a deceitful practice. I've never had a medical professional NOT tell me if they were not in network. It clearly makes a difference. I think they were just happy to get a new patient. Long story short, my wife was fitted for a crown. She already had pain in the tooth. The pain persisted with the temp crown. It continued and instead of taking care of the pain, they just put in the permanent crown. The pain persisted. Upon returning a week later, the dentist poked around, causing more pain and sent her off with a referral to another Dr. It's very likely that she needs a root canal, which these guys apparently don't do. They literally tried to finish the job and collect their money without any true care for the my wife. I'm disgusted. By the time we got home, the pain was excruciating. I called and they agreed to provide a prescription of ibuprofen and a narcotic. Now I had to drive 30 minutes back to the dentist to pick up the script because it's a narcotic. What dentist allows a patient to leave their office in this condition? Certainly not a good one. I should have known these two dentists (she has seen them both) were hacks when the office calls you to come in EARLY! Any GOOD dentist is packed on Saturday and you wait, they don't call you in early (this has happened 4 times in the last 5 appointments) As for Roy, the office manager...he's a complete toolbox. After I spoke with him about the "in network" issue he said the dentist agreed to finish the crown but also told me that there was a stipulation that I not put anything on social media about the practice. I'll leave it at that. If you need a dentist, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I went to this dentist for the first time today I 100% recommend this dentist office the entire is super nice and professional and they do a very wonderful job cleaning teeth. I was skeptical at first being that I've gone to other local dental offices in the area that demand deep cleaning even with decent teeth this office DOES NOT do that!!! Today was my very first visit to Knox Bridge Dental Care, and it was amazing! Dr Kirkpatrick and his staff were all very sweet, knowledgeable, and compassionate. My front four teeth are veneers, and four years ago, I chipped one and had it repaired by another dentist. The repair looked awful, and I was told that it had to be replaced. Upon recommendation, I went to see Dr Kirkpatrick, and within 20 minutes he had my veneer looking brand new again, without replacement!!! I was so excited that I started crying, and he gave me a hug. I will continue to go to Dr Kirkpatrick for all my dental care, even though I will have to drive 30 minutes to get there. In fact, I didn't leave without making an appointment for my teenage sons.
