Brought my '96 Corvette Grand Sport to them to clear-shield the front bumper and wrap-around, rocker panels below the curve line, and rear bumper below the curve line. We wound up deciding on him custom-cutting the front bumper, as the standard kit for this generation Corvette didn't cover the entire area I wanted protected. His work is absolutely flawless--if he didn't show me, I probably would never be able to tell the clear shielding was on the car. To top it all off, I asked him to do the ceramic coating and detailing. Their prep work on this 24-year old car was virtually surgical in its thoroughness, precision, and detail. These guys are the real deal. I brought in my new 2020 Mazda6 to get some protection for the fragile soul red paint. Tim recommended a partial front PPF. He is clearly extremely knowledgable, and discussed all of the pros and cons of PPF and ceramic coats with me. I also opted for a ceramic coat and ceramic tint. Tim gave me a very good price for this set of services, especially considering the professional high quality workmanship and prep work that these guys put into every car. They even went out of their way to get a touch up pen and fix a chip in the paint that had already developed. Throughout the process, they communicated with me, and even offered to keep my car for an extra day and let me pick it up on a Sunday (when they're typically closed) due to rain on the scheduled pickup date to prevent messing up the new coat and film. When I picked up my car I was absolutely blown away by how good it looked. It looked even better than it did on the showroom floor when I bought it. Even though my car was parked next to much more expensive Porsches, Maseratis, etc., you can tell that they give every care the same level of attention, detail, and care. I had an excellent experience working with Tim at Knox Details! The scheduling was convenient, Tim and the staff over at Knox Details were very welcoming and professional, and I got the impression that I came to the right place once I walked in the door -- first impressions are important! I recently purchased an E90 BMW 330i and it had a dent in the driver's door. The auto dealer did repair the dent fairly well, but they did not detail the door after they worked on it! Very frustrating since I bought the car out of state and did not have time for them to detail it, and the door was an even bigger eye sore with the cosmetic damage they caused getting the dent out! Tim at Knox Details detailed the interior and exterior of my car. I also decided to have him install the new 3M crystalline windshield film. In short, the detailing job was phenomenal! I can BARELY tell that a dent ever existed! It's literally 99% back to looking brand new, if not better with how shiny, smooth, and perfect the rest of the car looks. The 3M crystalline film was only installed on my windshield because I already had tint on my other windows, but the drive is noticeably more comfortable in terms of reducing heat inside the car while driving. Of course, the car is still hot when I get in it after leaving in parked out in the July sun all day while at work, but once you start driving it cools off quicker and stays cool and comfortable in the cabin more easily.
