The Knuckle Sandwhich and the Black-Eye Chicken with fries
Joshua L.

Knuckle Sandwiches delivered the perfect meal this week. The Black Eye Chicken has a great kick, and their namesake Knuckle Sandwich is a classic for a reason. Often, delivery fries can be soggy, but these were seasoned well and stayed crispy. Five stars all around--ordering round two tonight!

These sandwiches are HUGE and delicious! I ordered the Philly sandwich. And it was SO GOOD! My husband ordered the one with jalapeño's and it was also very good. They have a unique seasoning on the fries but they are good. I rubbed off some of the seasoning but that's just my preference. They have some really cool artwork/ displays in the restaurant and it's boxing themed which is pretty cool. I'm from Philly so seeing a Rocky themed restaurant was fun! The employee was very nice and helped with all questions. I would definitely go back!

A tiny little spot with seating for 10 inside with a few tables outside also. We enjoyed the Black Eye Chicken and the Uppercut Cheesesteak, which we could not finish. Sandwich and fries were cooked great. They told us about 20 minutes but it didn't take that long. Nothing fancy but it got the job done right.

Excellent food! Definitely worth going for a local vibe. Very happy I found this place via the reviews on yelp. Just wish they had more seating and fountain drinks instead of cans. Loved this place and recommend!

Overall pretty solid sandwiches. The place is recessed on Broad near Garden City and slightly hard to find but has a nice outdoor seating area. Very cool menu with a few options that looked really good. I tried the Knuckle Sandwich. High price for the amount of food ($16 after tax), but the quality of meat was really good. Tasted great and the Thai Chili Ranch was also delicious. Would definitely recommend it!

Devil Dog

This was my first time trying Knuckle Sandwiches. The Devil Dog was good. The fries that came with it were also really good. I will for sure be coming back and trying something new. It's a tiny spot that can seat between 10-15 people. It's a local sandwich shop. They don't have fountain drinks. Drinks are limited to what's in the fridge by the counter.

Great late-night spot for sandwiches. The fries are the best part! Vegetarian options available. Limited seating.

Delish joint in Augusta. You can easily walk past it and miss it and that would be a shame. The sausage dog and fries were the best.

Casual dining
Takes reservations

From the moment we walked in it felt like a fine dining experience. Not your average brunch. No…read moresir! Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

Culinary Standout in Downtown Augusta…read more Located in the heart of downtown, Frog Hollow Tavern serves up Southern-inspired cuisine elevated through sous vide techniques and creative flourishes. The menu is a thoughtful fusion--think jalapeño cornbread salad and impeccably fresh ingredients that shine in every dish. We sat at the bar and received excellent service--our bartender was attentive, with spot-on food and drink recommendations. Their house-infused spirits and handcrafted mixers made for refreshing, balanced cocktails. We tried a wide selection, and the pork chop was the favorite--smoky, juicy, and bold. Venison followed closely behind, rich and perfectly cooked. Scallops were a bit fishy but beautifully plated. The eggplant fries and mussels app combo was unexpectedly delightful--sweet, savory, spicy... fire. And dessert? The chocolate mousse cake with a shot of espresso martini wrapped up the meal on a luxurious note. If you're looking for refined Southern fare with an inventive edge, Frog Hollow delivers.
