Dusty was amazing! He got the job done quickly and knew what he was doing. Will be back for any other work needed on my Toyota Camry.

Vejar Bros Cycle Shop - Factory stator that was never replaced!

Vejar Bros Cycle Shop

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Had my engine rebuilt on my 2002 yz250f about 8 months ago by Vejar Bros. Two weeks…read moreafter my bike was returned, I was racing in Porterville and lost my clutch. The mechanic didn't properly torque the clutch holding nut so it slid off the crankshaft and destroyed my clutch plates, basket, and also my primary drive gear. I took it in and he said he'd make it right. My CDI just so happened burn up while he was fixing it so he supposedly replaced it with a used one. Replaced my stator with a "new" one, within 4 hours of engine time, my stator went out only for me to discover it was never replaced. It was the OEM stator that came factory on the bike. Orange rtv silicone was used instead of proper gaskets. That same silicone/metal shavings was found stuck to the inside of my flywheel. He also pulled apart my top end for no apparent reason and charged me for a new top end gasket.. All in all $2937 for the rebuild and second trip. Shade tree mechanics and poor customer service..

I don't know if they still service motorcycles, but if they do hopefully they have a new mechanic…read more I took my bike to their shop just to dial in the jets and was disappointed with the service. When you own a bike you become very familiar with the performance of the machine. I was told after the service the bike was fine, but at 3/4 throttle it choked (starved for fuel). The mechanic said he tested it and it ran fine. The store owner agreed and defended his mechanic. I took the bike home and dialed it in myself ordering 4 different sets of jets to experiment with. After a weekend and many hours I found the correct jets, something I thought a shop could do, i thought that's the service I paid for. Shame on me for trusting this shop.
