Today, Around 5:30 PM PST as I was driving down south on 405, My car starting showing a dangerous warning message that I am extremely low on engine oil and I need to pull to a safety spot and stop. I was lucky that I was close enough to find my way to KO Auto. It was close to 6:00 PM at that point and KO was closed for business but couple of people were still there, trying to wrap up what they were working on. I think it was Tony ( I usually work with Gabe) and I told him the issue. Next thing i know, He jumped in and started diagnosing the issue. For the next 45 minutes, He focused and worked on my car in a 110 F temperature. He explained me the issue, fixed it and to top it off, did not charge me anything because he felt that it should have been done with the service I had done the previous week. KO Automotive has been taking care of our cars for many years now. Our cars are older (2001 & 2005) and we're glad we were referred to Gabriel & Tony to keep our cars in top condition and maintain their reliability. I trust KO's honesty and they never recommend any unnecessary repairs. They will tell you which things should be repaired first so you can space out the repairs to fit your budget. At times they recommend higher cost factory parts over aftermarket parts because of reliability in repairs that require a lot of labor. You don't want another labor intensive repair just to save $40 on aftermarket parts. They will give your options, but I don't want my wife's car breaking down somewhere because I saved a few bucks. KO keeps all your records in the computer and lets you know when it's time for oil changes and all factory required maintenance. Much cheaper than going to the dealer.
