I have been going here ever since my catalytic converter was stolen a few years ago. I have an older Honda with $250k miles on it and this place and NahI has been amazing ... honest, fair pricing, quick turn around and always responsive. Catalytic ​Converter replacement within a day, tune up, AC, oil change​ ... The service is always great. I also appreciate the communication about what's going on with my car and love the fact that I don't have anxiety about going in there and spending $1k "just because my car is older". I stopped by Ascendant Automotive late this afternoon really to ask what time I could bring my car in for a new battery and an oil change on Saturday, knowing I had arrived about 5 O'clock in the afternoon and they close at 6pm. I never expected that they would take my car this late, but Nahu said he could at least change my battery. I was happily surprised and said yes, thank you! Turns out when he called my name he got both of my original service requests done in about 45 minutes. Honestly, it's been a long while since I've seen service like this. Nahu was so friendly and I heard him address another customer by name when he walked in the door. I first heard of Ascendant Automotive from a guy at Auto Zone who highly recommended them. I always do my research and found great reviews all over the place about this shop. After today, I will be bringing my car for future services here again. I'm very happy that I found Ascendant Automotive! I'm a repair tradesman myself, though my primary focus is on home repairs I dable in mechanic work with less involved repairs. But when it comes sometime like a timing belt I could figure out how to do it given enough time but it's a daunting task for me and I searched around for a mechanic who felt trustworthy and knowledgeable. I found that in Nahu and the team at Ascendant. I talked to probably 7 different mechanics in the area with a large range in prices and trustworthyness. Some were astronomical some were dirt cheap. Some were clearly knowledgeable and some I clearly knew more than they did about the repairs I needed. Ascendant came in somewhere in the middle price wise but more than price I liked how responsive, friendly and knowledgeable they were. Not to mention a fast turn around time, which I realize can't always happen with these kinds of repairs but my first experience with them was great. One note, when I got the car back it did have a rough idle and I had to take it back in for an adjustment/cleaning of a part but for how big the project was it was a small inconvenience for how quickly and willing they were to correct it. Brought my car here for an inspection. My neighbors referred me to this place. I had a great experience and would recommend. I needed help to check on a leak that the oil change guys mentioned seeing under the car. I was able to bring in and get it inspected quickly. They said they needed more time and saw it appeared to have multiple leaks but since it was the weekend and I need my car, they said to bring my car in on Monday morning and they will check again. I called this place due to their yelp reviews. My RV had a vacuum leak it was detected by an OBD two monitor. I was also getting my air conditioning through my defroster vent. Another sign of a vacuum leak. I had a pretty good idea where the leak was going to be but there was no way to check it without doing a smoke test. Ascendant was the only place around that I could find that had the equipment to do it. They said it would take about an hour but after perhaps 15 minutes they found a leak and it was just where I thought it was going to be in a very difficult place to reach. Having a test done and verifying the location of the leak was well worth the $100 they charged. The guys they were very friendly very professional and very busy. Make sure you call ahead to see if they have time to take you. Highly recommend. read more

Called in to see if they had availability and they had a spot the next day. Brought my car in to check the warning lights and Nahu did a free diagnostic for me and thoroughly explained everything. Before coming here i went to a place that told me that i needed a new transmission but wouldn't tell me why. Nahu explained that mechanically the transmission is fine, however, it's a computer/system error. He told me it's safe to drive and if i wanted the warning lights to go away then i should get it replaced, but if i can ignore the lights it's fine. Appreciate the candor and no up sells. read more
