If I could give zero stars I could!! Bartender was late, only gave 3 hrs of service when Il paid for 4, and I was misinformed about what was being provided. It was my first time ever booking a Bartender. Never again. Then when I emailed the business owner, I informed her of what happened and asked for compensation. She then accused me of lying to get a discount. Then called me a monkey which was offensive and racist. If there is no compensation that is fine but no need to call anyone names! She lied to Yelp to get my original review taken down saying I was giving her threats to get paid. Lady, calm down..no one is threatening you. You already got my money but its my human right to tell everyone the truth And as a business owner you should be thankful for the feedback if it helps you get better in the end. My advice to you is to make it more explicit what is or isn't covered, perhaps even call to confirm that your customers know what to expect, and don't respond rudely to customers.you never know who you're dealing with. read more

Let me start off by saying i had the BEST experience with KO events Kaylene was quick to reply to all of my emails regarding my booking. I had a small event to celebrate 10 years of business and booked their bar for a few cocktails. I was sent an email with a list of delicious drinks for me to choose from i was advised to pick 4-5 to keep my shopping list small (saved me some !) I was a bit stressed looking for a purée that was chosen for one Of the drinks but Sade our amazing bartender was super helpful and told me she'll improvise with what i can find such a relief! Fast forward to my event! Sade (bartender) arrived on time and was dressed super cute and professional! The setup was sooo cute! There was a printed menu made especially for my event. And was in this LED book that made it look digital!! My family has booked with them before and it was amazing, which is why I decided to go with them. To begin with, it wasn't the person I requested. I requested the owner Kaylene. Instead I got 2 bartenders (supposedly one of them is certified & licensed but didn't seem like it and the other one was in training so she had no idea what she was doing). So right away I was annoyed but I gave it a chance. I noticed they were dressed unprofessional too. Kaylene tells me basically I should be happy I got 2 bartenders and charged for one. But I didn't ask for a second one and why is she using someone to train during MY event where I pay full service for and I didn't even get a notice about it nor that she was not showing up. I pay for the alcohol as well so using my money to train someone cause let me tell you the drinks were horrible. The drinks were horrible they weren't mixed. At one point they even looked up the ingredients on how to do a drink!!!! They were very unprepared asking me for instruments such as a knife from my own household during my own event, like that's the whole point of renting out a bartender not having to worry about that. Then during mid party asking me for ice cause she doesn't have any. That was part of the service that they were including ice. I contact Kaylene about it the next day and rudely says if you haven't noticed we are going through a heat wave. Well in that cause she knew so too so she should have planned better on that. They cleaned up so early the service was until 11:30, meaning they should start cleaning at that time. No they cleaned up around 10:40. Obviously I was a little upset and I approached her saying like why are you cleaning up and honestly why was it her that came if it was not her requested. I think that's fair to ask and not rude. Yeah they didn't leave but they looked closed so my guest was not approaching them. Literally all my guest said they were trash like the service and the drinks. It was nothing like the first experience we had. Never again will I book with them nor would I recommend. Kaylene is going to reply to this and say I was unprofessional but at the end of the day they were cause they are a business and should be more prepared. Additionally it was her sister who she sent over as the bartender so obviously she's going to say I'm wrong for everything lol. read more
