We hosted a block party in Altadena, benefiting all of our neighbors who were deeply impacted by the Eaton Fire. The Mighty Toddler team was able to set up on the asphalt and the play area was beautiful, colorful ,and very safe. They even provided a pop-up tent to shade the kiddos from the sun. The smallest members of our community were overjoyed when they saw a play area just for them! Almost all of our neighbors were displaced by the fire and most of them have been struggling with financial, emotional, and strategic issues coming back to Altadena. But having a celebration, hearing their kids laugh and play on the streets again, helped us reclaim our beloved neighborhood.
