KO is tucked away near the mall but hard to miss when you drive by! The outside and inside are modern and eye catching, urging you to explore what's inside. Each table has two grills so unless you have a large party, you will sit near another group but they tables are incredibly long so you don't feel like you're right next to them. For our appetizer we had their bumpkins and Bulgogi pancakes. Our waitress Stephanie (who is absolutely AMAZING by the way) recommended the pancakes. Eager to see exactly what they were, we ordered them. They were almost like a Korean pizza and I could've eaten them all day every day. For our main dish, I had the fried rice and my husband had the cheesesteak. The fried rice is packed with flavor, it was so hard to not finish the entire bowl because it was so delicious. My cheesesteak was filled with meat and the bread is soft with a buttery finish. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, 10/10 recommend. To end the night we tried their flight of soju, it was hard to pick a favorite but my top four were: grapefruit, lemon, strawberry and mango. Overall, great environment, great service, and great food!

July 7, 2021 Was in town from Galveston and went with my niece; she's been before. Ko is kin to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse AND Pour 09 next door; FYI We went for appetizers and happy hour. Sat at bar...Seth was their new barkeep so, he was very friendly and fun but didn't know the menu just yet (no worries) We had the sweet corn appetizer with melted cheese (aioli) and mozzarella...DONT bother. It's literally can corn with melted cheese...nothing Korean about it...not sure WHY it's on the menu? We had the fried egg rolls with bulgogi (marinated steak) ...they were good and so was the dipping sauce, but they were almost burnt...almost We had the soju flight...soju is south Korean alcohol (16.8%) made with rice, wheat and barely...the flavored (fruit variety: grape, strawberry, grapefruit, mango, lemon) is the only way to go...the regular flavor taste almost like saki. Decor is on point...reminds me of the Korean markets Will definitely go back to eat more

The food is decent but I would only recommend this place if you had a small craving for Korean BBQ in the SETX area. I see a lot of reviews regarding their service but the two times I have been I had a great server!

I love me some Korean BBQ and KO does it right! This is an awesome Korean BBQ establishment that has great food friendly service and everything you could possibly want from a Korean BBQ. One of the real stars here is their insanely awesome Soju selection. They make Soju cocktails and you can get tasting flight's. If you're even considering trying Ko Korean Grill do so, you wont regret it!

Walking into the restaurant is an experience in itself. I feel like I'm whisked away to the streets of Seoul. The interior and exterior of the restaurant is second to none. The food itself is awesome!! Finding a food Korean restaurant I love is hard, even while living in Houston. My favorite is the Korean galbi and my kids always order the egg soufflé and japchae (glass noodles). If you're in for an authentic Korean experience, try it out!

This is better Korean food than you'll get for miles around. Really a unique experience, and the staff was super friendly.

Although the reviews were mixed, the majority were positive, and seeing that they offered pho, we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, the host was warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself features pleasant décor and a comfortable atmosphere. There were a few families dining at the time, which created a relaxed and inviting environment. The host took our drink order promptly and brought the beverages out before our server came to take our food order. We ordered the special vermicelli plate, fresh spring rolls, and the ribeye pho. All of the dishes arrived at the same time. The vermicelli bowl, unfortunately, was not as flavorful as we had hoped; the sauce could have benefited from a bit more depth and seasoning. The pho was satisfactory, though we may simply be accustomed to a more robust, authentic flavor profile. During the meal, our server checked on us several times. We did need to mention an issue with the shrimp in the vermicelli plate, and he handled it professionally by removing the item from our bill, which we appreciated. The service overall was attentive and courteous. It's possible that because we visited closer to closing time, the broth and proteins may not have been at their peak freshness. Despite our mixed feelings about the food, the quality of service and welcoming atmosphere left a positive impression. We would consider returning, hopeful for a stronger culinary experience next time. So we can revise our review.

The vegetables and rice were very good and I enjoyed the salad which was green leaf and not just iceberg. I also ordered the melon tuna which was a piece of tuna on top of watermelon (nicely ripe) with a slice of jalapeño on top. It was something different and I really liked it. Again the filet was disappointing, I wouldn't order it again. But everything else was great!

The service is also fast, though not perfectly attentive. The food is mediocre. It's sushi in Beaumont, so you have to curb your expectations, as the fish in East Texas is never great. We went with cooked rolls and they were tasty - the Cajun crawfish and the eel rolls are good choices. I would recommend avoiding the steak. I really enjoy Japanese steak skewers, which are usually made with good cuts of high quality beef. I expected nothing less in East Texas, but the skewers here are absolutely foul. I had two bites, both tasted like old urine. Additionally they were overcooked. I couldn't stomach any more than two bites. I would have come back for just cooked sushi but in addition to the bad steak, the restroom smells strongly of raw sewage, which the restaurant tries to mask with spray. There are unfinished toilet holes where I assume this stench is coming from. Very off putting.

However, that would be the only good experience we have here. I ordered Tan Tan Ramen (a broth-less ramen) and my boyfriend got the Kikko Special Ramen. They had put broth on my noodles and I asked them if they got the order right. They said yes. The Tan Tan noodles were salty as hell. It tasted as if I got a spoon full of ocean water. I couldn't finish my meal. The meat was just overcooked ground pork. My boyfriend's bowl was pretty bland. I could still taste the salt, unless that was just the aftermath of my bowl. The pork tasted like it was in the freezer for an extremely long time. It had that freezer air taste. I wouldn't come here for the ramen again, but I have returned for the Takoyaki.
