Very fun concept as the weather can play a horrible roll in bringing something sweet outdoors or just the humid hot weather makes it melt before your eyes these cuties can do need to be chilled but are very more sturdy than your usual slice. They're made in various flavors and the price is quite up there but for the look and convenience is what it's all about along with personalization which they're also able to do is nice for any occasion though this one was for me to treat myself and I found this place at the Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai. I just couldn't resist the Strawberry Matcha Shortcake as it has all the loves I have in treats but wanted to enjoy it fully chilled at home later and it was days later until I was able to o so it was just as I expected with the cake being quite dense as it needed it to be to hold up the look and build of the whole dessert but was it delicious despite it all yes but at $15 it was up there for me though will probably get it for special occasions as I check out their Instagram for locations to find them as who wouldn't want something like this to celebrate with...cheers! That's…read moreone thing I love about Sunshine People Market is that the showcase the kids and these kids makes some awesome products and yes I definitely get them for myself and to share...it's just so hard to resist it's like they just know what we like or look for. Today at the Barn in SALT Kaka'ako was filled with various wonderful crafters all unique in their own way and loved that many have items you can make it your own. Matcha is also found here as well which is very nice as that alone makes my shopping experience extra bougie ;) as I couldn't resist both Green Times (Earl Gray Matcha) and Yonsei Matcha (Banana Cream Matcha and Hojicha) but the stickers from Mini Girl Studios is just so adorable and at 1 for $2 or 3 for $5 I got 15 of them for $25 :) Parking in SALT is free for the first hour and entrance is free so feel free to give them a peek which I'm sure you'll find something that perfect and support these wonderful local small biz. Refreshing beverage in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. There are many vendors to patronize at the Kailua Farmers' Market every Thursday from 4pm to 7pm. Island Banana Juice caught my attention! Bananas, in general, seem kind of creamy to me. I wondered how they could be made into a juice... let's try it! I was debating between the Chocolate Banana Juice and the Strawberry Chocolate Banana Juice... because the chocolate syrup walls on the cup would look and taste better than other options. Then, I decided to get the Strawberry flavored drink so that it would taste like a banana split... yes! It was delicious and smooth! No chunks of banana at all! Yay! Note: there was no upcharge for oat milk! Thank you! Service was very friendly and helpful! I'm looking forward to returning and trying other flavors!

Now we love ordering online and not combing through stores to find the seeds we like! Rock salt plum is a staple and my husband can go through bags of them! This year we purchased their inaugural Fukubukuro box and we were so happy that we did! Having ordered from another snack place last year, we had received a boxful of "leftovers", items that we would not have tried. But Jade Foods was DIFFERENT! They jammed pack the box with so many things we actually love and some items that we've never tried but we're interested in! I mean, prune mui, li hing mango, sweet sour seed, wet lemon, iso peanuts AND they had us at Rock Salt Plum!! Yes, they actually put a bag of that in the box!! They had me at Chantilly…read more.. Yes I've tried a few matchas (don't judge me) and found Cai's Cafe on their first day at Fishcake in Kaka'ako and how exciting to see them here woohoo! It seems like they'll be here on certain Sundays which is nice an convenient spot and am so thrilled to see them as I've heard but haven't had the opportunity to give them a try. It's not just matcha that they make but hojicha and coffee as well but we all know that I'm here for the matcha and with the usual classic latte and strawberry available they also had Ube Chantilly and Vanilla Black Sesame as well which both sounds so amazing but they already had me at Chantilly and had to give them a try. Such a delicate and lots of layered flavors nothing overpowering one another it was just so refreshing without being too sweet but love the service as they're so fun and friendly along with the vibe at Fishcake it's a matcha made right for me. Free parking in the Ward Theatre parking garage. Run, don't walk to get some of Mochimomma's most memorable treats. So glad that I was finally able to get my hands on some of this mochi!…read more I follow this small local business on IG and saw that they were having a pop up in Nordstrom Ala Moana today from 10:30am-3:30pm. Just so happened I had an appointment in town and would be in the area! I was stoked that not only was I able to score some delicious mochi but it was on special 3 for $20 for early birds 10:30-11:30 (I literally just made it in time). I was able to chose any 3 $8 items for just $20 (what a deal). I chose the original butter mochi bites, ube butter mochi, and coffee butter mochi. I also bought a cookie butter white chocolate butter mochi for $10, which was a special flavor. I even got a free calandar! My favorite was the coffee butter mochi. It really tasted like a delicious cup of coffee. I didn't care for the bites as they were a little dense and dry imo. The ube was okay but didn't really have the ube flavor I love. I also really enjoyed the cookie butter flavor, because who doesn't like cookie butter, lol. Overall I look forward to continuing to support this small local business and try some other flavors. I was told that they would be doing a pop up at Mililani High school in March, so I'm looking forward to that.

Everything and I do mean EVERYTHING is just as if they were reading my wishlist mind as it screamed sweet fall favorite comfort with their entire items!! Butter mochi in different flavors of regular, ube, chocolate butter and I believe pumpkin though I forget cause I stopped taking pictures as I was drooling with each item but the Crinkle Cookie Nomnom was the one and ohhhhhhemgeeziegoodheavenliness!! That cookie was like a light cakey light yet so flavorful omg I actually contemplate not sharing it with anyone (seriously!) but I did with my work bestie as she's the best and a Cookie Monster I had to brag and see her response lol!
