There are so many choices of containers and plants. I never knew there are so many succulents, and that they thrive on the Windward side! This seasonal store has been open for the past 13 years. For six weeks before Christmas, Menehune Mac has brought its special gifts to the Windward side of the island! This year, the pop up shop is on the ground level, near the Food Court - where Sears used to be... Inside, the space is festively decorated. There's a large display for Instagram photo opps at the entrance. Further in, you'll find boxes of the famous chocolate covered Macadamia nuts (sugar free options are available), tote bags, gift baskets, handmade jewelry, and other gift items! Note: The original location of Menehune Mac (known for its chocolate covered Macadamia nuts) is in Kalihi. There's an 8am tour of the factory on Saturdays. Call in advance to make sure you can get a spot! P.S. Menehune is a Hawaiian elf or leprechaun. "Mac" is short for Macadamia nut. The last day of business at Windward Mall is Christmas Eve... awww... How sweet it is…read more.. Yasss I found them after my first discovery in downtown but I'd never thought that I'd find these yummies again. Love that they've found a place at Fishcake in Kaka'ako and on Thursdays which is much more accessible for me and gosh it indeed was a great find. They had their Frozen Mousse and Pudding today and I was just all over their puddings as it's not too sweet but very light and smooth. - Original (Salted Caramel) - Matcha - Okinawan Ube - Pumpkin Spice There was just one pumpkin spice left :( so I got that, two matcha, two ube and one original and with every five items purchased they'll throw in an item of your choice for free...eeeee! It comes in a cute glass jar and I did try the matcha first and though the flavor is light and faint that I had to search for the matcha flavor it was a very nice and refreshing treat that I did feel so heavy after eating the whole jar. They guys are just a delight so nice and friendly and even have samples for the mousse which is yummy by the way but I just love pudding and now know that I'm able to find them right here is so nice and convenient for a quick treat.
