We had a great time on our sunset cruise! Our original scheduled date got rescheduled due to a shortage of attendees. They communicated very quickly and easily via email to reschedule our cruise. Then unfortunately we had to cancel 1 attendee, and again they communicated easily and quickly and gave us our refund the same day! We did the morning snorkeling tour with these guys last week and it was such a good experience. My kids could not stop talking about how much fun they had! First of all, the catamaran is beautiful. It was nice and clean with plenty of comfortable areas to sit. My kids eyes lit up when it pulled up to the dock. Secondly, the staff was so friendly and welcoming that they instantly put everyone in a great mood. My kids are 7 and 9 years old and the staff prioritized the perfect balance of safety and fun which I really appreciated. This is a great tour for all ages. The snorkeling and wildlife we experienced was amazing and my kids got to see sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, and more fish than you can count. Afterwards, you are treated to some excellent sandwiches, snacks and adult beverages. You can't really describe the feeling of enjoying lunch on the sun soaked deck with families of dolphins swimming all around you. Hats off to this crew for making this such an enjoyable experience. My wife and I had a great time and my kids thanked us multiple times for planning this. If that doesn't say something I don't know what does. read more

Snacks were individually packaged, MAJOR bonus cos it's nasty when you get passengers clamoring for cheese 'n stuff off of a tray. And, rather tasty, I might add. 10/10. Staff is awesome! Super fun crew. We had the best day today on the morning snorkel boat tour. It's our 3rd year in a row choosing this tour during our annual vacation to Oahu. The kids love it as much as the adults! I'm sure there are plenty of tours like this around the island but we don't even want to try the others. Hands down our favorite part of our vacation is this tour seeing the amazing fish, reef and turtles out in nature. Great lunch and drinks provided as well. One of our favorite excursions we did in Hawaii. We actually did the snorkeling excursion in the am, and then the whole family did the sunset cruise the same day. Such special memories and so much fun. The staff was badass and so fun; drinks were great; food was pretty decent too. One of the divers snorkeled down and got an octopus and we got to pet the octopus. Such a cool experience, and all on a catamaran! This is located at the Ko Olina Bay Area and very convenient from our hotel that was located next door. Once again can't praise the staff enough- they actually were the same crew for both and kind of felt bad for them having such a long day, but they had high spirits and made the best of it- very personable and made the whole family wanting to go again! read more

The staff was incredibly friendly, which really made the adventure worthwhile. We spent a good amount of time snorkeling, it was actually more than enough since the majority of the passengers returned to the boat before the time was up. The buffet at the end of the trip was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins or whales, but that is not their fault. I love the fact that the boat was not that packed and there's plenty of room to lounge and sit. They could've packed more people, but they didn't which is a huge upside. I would highly recommend Ko Olina Ocean Adventures. They were very welcoming from start to finish. They made sure everyone understood the instructions and had two life guards in the water while you go snorkeling. I called to book a sunset cruise last minute and was able to get a last minute reservation for 4. Very easy to book. Boat was very nice and comfortable. We were given unlimited soft drinks and 3 alcoholic beverages for adults. They also provided light appetizers. We had cheeseburger sliders, a shredded pork egg roll and an ahi rice bowl. All were delicious. Staff were extremely nice and made sure we were ok and even brought us more drinks. Overall we were all happy with cruise and have beautiful memories of your sunset cruise!!! Doing snorkeling from the catamaran was my favorite activity that I've done in Hawaii! The snorkeling was amazing and I saw and fed hundreds of fish! They also took safety very seriously on the boat and I felt very at ease with the crew. I did end up getting sick from the boat rocking (forgot my Dramamine) and the crew members gave me some essential oils, ginger chews and ginger ale to help me recover.They were super friendly and helpful! Paid and booked online with a card and didn't have issues. The Ko Olina Ocean Adventures catamaran is located by the docks and offers a large parking lot for parking. I went on their sunrise snorkeling adventure on a Tuesday morning and didn't have any issues checking in. There was a lot of staff available to help with check-in and I got my 2 bags of fish food I purchased, as expected. The crew provided snorkel gear, (if you don't have your own), life vests, snacks, drinks, and lunch. They went over a safety briefing and the morning plan so I knew exactly what to expect. I felt safe and excited for the snorkeling adventure. The catamaran was extremely clean and they even had a fresh water shower available after we got back in from snorkeling. My 6 yo and I had an amazing time snorkeling with the fish and even got lucky to swim with dolphins! I would definitely recommend Ko Olina and would join them again. read more

The three of us went on a two hour sunset cruise sailing out of the Ko Olina marina last Thursday. We conveniently walked over from the Marriott. It took us about 11 minutes. The catamaran cruise was scheduled to set sail 4:30p-6:30p. Everyone was checked in by one of the crew members and then we were allowed onboard. Heads up - it's shoeless. All shoes off. So be aware. Food wise- a nice charcuterie in a box with three drinks per person. The two tropical drinks offered were of their own concoction- the naked pirate and the mermaid. The naked pirate was similar to a mai tai, and the mermaid was like a blue Hawaii. We liked the naked pirate more. Because we enjoyed the tropical drinks I can't recall what else was being offered. The catamaran was nice and cozy. It sailed along the coast and we saw our resort. The crew members were very attentive and made sure we always had a drink. I don't think anyone drank more than the three allotted but it was no big deal. The sunset was beautiful. Once it went down the captain headed back to the marina. Did the sunset cruise and it was amazing! The crew was seriously the best. They were friendly, and talked to us patrons on board. Provided us with everything we needed and had super friendly vibes. Loved having drinks and a mini charcuterie and shrimp cocktail. The boat holds about 40 but we were about 33 that day. The music was relaxing and sometimes humorous (my heart will go on) and was one of the highlights of my trip. I'll be booking all my other sea based excursions with them next time! Parking was 25 dollars, and the desk located outside the building by the restrooms might look like no one is there but the boats are in the back. And someone eventually does come. It is a no shoes boat, so shoes come off and are in a bin until you return. It was a fun time and will definitely do it again. read more

Love a good sunset on the ocean. My husband purchased the sunset cruise out of Ko'olina for my birthday. Same company does snorkeling trips during the day on the catamaran. They cruised out past Electric beach area which offered views of the westside mountains and coastline. They entertained us with lively music, appetizers and drinks. Enjoyed the views and chatting with other passengers. Of course the main attraction was the beautiful golden views of the sunset . As a traveler who experiences excursions all around the world, I was so impressed with the sail I took with Ko Olina Ocean Adventures, and I would book with them again in a heart beat. Located in the Ko Olina Marina, there were no other tours happening during my arrival time and it was super easy to find with plenty of parking. The parking is paid, and cost $18.00 additional to the tour. If you're staying in Ko Olina, you could potentially walk to the tour from your hotel as long as you're ok walking back in the dark (the area is well-lit). I took the sunset sail in mid-February. I'm not sure what capacity is on the catamaran, but it was not full during our sail. Our captain was so nice and easy-going. He and the rest of the staff made everyone feel welcomed and taken care of the entire time. Obviously the smoothness of the ride has more to do with ocean conditions and swells, but Captain Todd truly took it to the next level and gave us such a smooth sail. You're welcome to walk up to the bar for drinks, but I love how the staff checks in regularly and brings you drinks when you need a refill - it's great to be able to stay in your spot and not have to head to the bar. I'm plant-based and the staff accommodated with a vegan charcuterie bowl for me (I let them know in advance, I believe that the meat and cheese were pre-packed with the fruit & crackers for the non-vegan versions before the sail). The music was completely on point and the sunset views were perfect! I loved the timing of this sail as we got to enjoy a bunch of daylight, and then wound back up at dock just after sunset (still enough light to begin your walk back to your hotel or enjoy some views of the last light before heading back out of Ko Olina). We unfortunately didn't see any whales, turtles or dolphins this trip - but the crew was surprised because they had been out a lot during the day. They must have put on a show earlier and been asleep for our sail! Crew told me that they've had whales and dolphins ride right along the boat at times. The people and the vibes were wonderful, and it was the perfect sail around Ko Olina. Highly recommend! read more

They took us snorkeling on a reef which was loaded with fish who followed us around while we swam. We saw multiple sea turtles both from the boat and in the water. We just got back from our Oahu trip and we did the Catamaran Sail and snorkel tour with Ko Olina Ocean Adventures. Can't recommend them enough. The team is amazing and they really did a great job overall. Staff were amazing! They were friendly, knowledgeable, kind, tentative and very professional. Before sending the guess into the water they would ensure that there were plenty of fish and sea creatures under water. In other words they made sure to find a great spot to stop. Staff would point out any amazing animal they saw; we got to see a monk seal and a turtle. Onboard the boat was clean and plenty of room for all to sit below or above deck.
