We had a great time on our sunset cruise! Our original scheduled date got rescheduled due to a shortage of attendees. They communicated very quickly and easily via email to reschedule our cruise. Then unfortunately we had to cancel 1 attendee, and again they communicated easily and quickly and gave us our refund the same day! Once on board the crew was very welcoming and accommodating...including one crew member jumped in to grab a lady's hat that blew off into the water!! Great cocktails and appetizers...all in all 5 stars!

Everything was wonderful. From the initial greeting to onboarding. The crew became o'hana. The food was great, drinks in abundance and the sites simply beautiful. And I can't leave without mention best playlist ever!

We did the morning snorkeling tour with these guys last week and it was such a good experience. My kids could not stop talking about how much fun they had! First of all, the catamaran is beautiful. It was nice and clean with plenty of comfortable areas to sit. My kids eyes lit up when it pulled up to the dock. Secondly, the staff was so friendly and welcoming that they instantly put everyone in a great mood. My kids are 7 and 9 years old and the staff prioritized the perfect balance of safety and fun which I really appreciated. This is a great tour for all ages. The snorkeling and wildlife we experienced was amazing and my kids got to see sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, and more fish than you can count. Afterwards, you are treated to some excellent sandwiches, snacks and adult beverages. You can't really describe the feeling of enjoying lunch on the sun soaked deck with families of dolphins swimming all around you. Hats off to this crew for making this such an enjoyable experience. My wife and I had a great time and my kids thanked us multiple times for planning this. If that doesn't say something I don't know what does.

All female crew, a first for us, and a nice smooth sail with Tamiko @ the helm. Courtney, Mariam, and Kaley (fingers crossed on spelling) were all very attentive, friendly, and made for a very pleasant experience. Snacks were individually packaged, MAJOR bonus cos it's nasty when you get passengers clamoring for cheese 'n stuff off of a tray. And, rather tasty, I might add. Didn't partake in the drinks cos we've had plenty leading up to sunset cruise. Big lot for parking and seamless check-in. Save time, a tree, and sign your waiver online.

10/10. Staff is awesome! Super fun crew. We had the best day today on the morning snorkel boat tour. It's our 3rd year in a row choosing this tour during our annual vacation to Oahu. The kids love it as much as the adults! I'm sure there are plenty of tours like this around the island but we don't even want to try the others. Hands down our favorite part of our vacation is this tour seeing the amazing fish, reef and turtles out in nature. Great lunch and drinks provided as well. Highly recommend this catamaran crew and tour. We tell everyone we meet to check it out. Sad to leave the islands now but -See you salty pirates next year!

One of our favorite excursions we did in Hawaii. We actually did the snorkeling excursion in the am, and then the whole family did the sunset cruise the same day. Such special memories and so much fun. The staff was badass and so fun; drinks were great; food was pretty decent too. One of the divers snorkeled down and got an octopus and we got to pet the octopus. Such a cool experience, and all on a catamaran! This is located at the Ko Olina Bay Area and very convenient from our hotel that was located next door. Once again can't praise the staff enough- they actually were the same crew for both and kind of felt bad for them having such a long day, but they had high spirits and made the best of it- very personable and made the whole family wanting to go again!

The staff was incredibly friendly, which really made the adventure worthwhile. We spent a good amount of time snorkeling, it was actually more than enough since the majority of the passengers returned to the boat before the time was up. The buffet at the end of the trip was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins or whales, but that is not their fault. I love the fact that the boat was not that packed and there's plenty of room to lounge and sit. They could've packed more people, but they didn't which is a huge upside. Don't forget the open bar!!!!

Doing snorkeling from the catamaran was my favorite activity that I've done in Hawaii! The snorkeling was amazing and I saw and fed hundreds of fish! They also took safety very seriously on the boat and I felt very at ease with the crew. I did end up getting sick from the boat rocking (forgot my Dramamine) and the crew members gave me some essential oils, ginger chews and ginger ale to help me recover. They were super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend them.

Had a great sunset sailing experience with Captain Jake and the crew! They were super helpful, friendly, and also chill. There was a great sunset to top it off. I would highly recommend!

The three of us went on a two hour sunset cruise sailing out of the Ko Olina marina last Thursday. We conveniently walked over from the Marriott. It took us about 11 minutes. The catamaran cruise was scheduled to set sail 4:30p-6:30p. Everyone was checked in by one of the crew members and then we were allowed onboard. Heads up - it's shoeless. All shoes off. So be aware. Food wise- a nice charcuterie in a box with three drinks per person. The two tropical drinks offered were of their own concoction- the naked pirate and the mermaid. The naked pirate was similar to a mai tai, and the mermaid was like a blue Hawaii. We liked the naked pirate more. Because we enjoyed the tropical drinks I can't recall what else was being offered. The catamaran was nice and cozy. It sailed along the coast and we saw our resort. The crew members were very attentive and made sure we always had a drink. I don't think anyone drank more than the three allotted but it was no big deal. The sunset was beautiful. Once it went down the captain headed back to the marina. It was a nice way to spend an evening.

Mid day snorkeling tour. Highly recommend. We walked from Aulani. crew was magnificent! I like nice people, and the crew was as personable as could be. We were a little bummed hearing folks on morning boats had no luck with whale sightings. After snorkeling , then an outstanding sandwich and drinks , it was time to head in. Then , wham! Whales all around the place. It was very exciting , and magical . We would do this again if we returned!

Is there enough seating for all passengers on the sunset cruise?

Yes, I took the sunset cruise last month. There are enough seats for everyone inside the catamaran cabin. Once the cruise started, almost everyone moved to the top and front where there are not seats but people stood or sat on the front canopy tarp…

Can we dive instead of snorkel? If so, do you provide diving gears? How much is the fee for diving? And what's included in this diving fee? What is your cancellation policy to get a full refund?

The area we snorkeled was about 30 feet deep. There was not any diving but several people submerged and went underwater, for pictures, since we saw several sea turtles. The gear provided was fins, snorkel and life vest. Despite being a whole week in…

What snorkel gear is included on the Catamaran Sail & Snorkel? What do we need to bring? (I read that with some tour companies you need to bring your own mask and snorkel.)

Yes, they provide all equipment and show you how to use it.

How much time do you actually spend in the water?

Good Morning, it really depends on which tour you are planning on attending. Our Catamaran Snorkel and Sail stops at two locations and snorkels at minimum for 30 minutes at each site. Our Dolphin Snorkel Tour should be going to two to three snorkel…

Is is necessary to wear a life vest?

Required for kids 12 and younger. Optional (but recommended) for others.

The crew took us out on a small glass bottom boat and once we got moving it felt like we were heading straight into our own ocean show. The weather was spot on with bright sun, calm water, and a comfortable breeze that made the whole ride easy and really enjoyable. Before we left, the captain and his assistant very politely warned us that we might not see whales because it is still the early part of the season. They gave us the choice to go anyway, and thank goodness we did because these whales clearly had no interest in hiding. We saw several of them breach like they were trying to win style points, splash around like they were in a water park, and show off just enough to make every single person on the boat start cheering. Ian and Kai were our guides and both deserve a medal for top tier ocean adventure hosting. They explained what to watch for, gave some fun knowledge about the island, tossed in whale facts that made us feel like instant marine biologists, and most importantly they actually found the whales. They kept the whole thing fun, relaxed, and full of moments that made this our first Hawaiian whale watching cruise and one we will never forget. I would absolutely do this tour again. Highly recommend it to anyone staying in Ko Olina. The short walking distance to Aulani is the cherry on top.

We started at 6am and the morning was a tranquil visit to all the animals in the ocean. Captain Kim knew we were birders and wanted to take photos of the shearwaters, boobys, and albatrosses and she always positioned the boat while giving us the best and most stable view for photography, while maintaining a respectful distance to the animals to avoid stressing them. We went out to Ka'ena point and had a great view of the Laysan albatross colony. There is truly nothing like having an albatross fly overhead. Along the way, we saw spotted dolphins actively feeding and playing, and also saw spinner dolphins! Seeing the monk seal lounging on the beach was a bonus. The wedge tail shearwaters had just returned so they were busy on the water. We also found masked boobys and brown booby feeding. We also saw turtles at their cleaning station! We lucked out with perfect wind, water, and sky conditions, which made the whole trip incredible. The ride out was 10-15 min? Getting into the water was easy. Water was great! Though there weren't many, we did manage to dive next to a Galapagos shark, a jellyfish, turtle, and eagle ray (this guy was in port tho). Lilly and the entire team were so helpful and accommodating the whole time. They were fantastic about answering all of our questions and really made the process of getting in and out of the boat less stressful. I will say: you will need to have decent strength to hoist yourself out of the water from a small solo step on the boat (they help but keep in mind for my fellow limited bodied folks). On windier conditions, you will have to be a decent swimmer, too. So those not familiar with the ocean, practice at like Waikiki or hanauma bay first. We had someone swallow water on our boat and we had calmer conditions, too. I honestly wish we could have been in the water for longer, but I'm just looking at it as a great excuse to book another trip and head out again! My favorite part was actually the ride back in: the crew picked up some speed and took some fun turns, which I really enjoyed. Everything was set up to be convenient, too. They provided all the snorkel gear, including flippers and masks, and there is a cubby under the seat to keep your items safe, dry, and out of the way. Parking is readily available, so you don't have to worry about that. Just a heads up on the media side of things: they do offer professional photo packages, which run about $80 to $100. You are allowed to bring your own GoPro, but they are pretty specific about which models you can bring due to concerns about radio wave interference, so it's worth double-checking with them beforehand. Overall, it was a fantastic day out on the water with a good crew.
