Chris stayed on the phone with me for 2 hours (I am not local) and was able to guide me through set-up, care for my system, and even noticed that the red cap from the needle broke off and needed to be removed (pictured). He gave me recommendations on how to get it out, waited for me to try them, and sent me a link for the correct needle replacement. Im able to listen to the radio and my tapes now, just waiting for the needle and I can finally play my records. I am not certain what suddenly changed - perhaps the ownership was transfered and/or bought out, or maybe their next-of-kin inherited the business - but regardless of the reasons, I CAN tell you with certainty by this point in time is that this is no longer the Pro Audio LA which we audio professionals so fondly remember, most sadly to say. Because all of its communications and ordering processes have just about broken down within the past months, even as it continues to accept your online orders and take your money! For the record: I have $300-worth of audio interconnect cables ordered from this past springtime of 2026, and it is now mid-July as of the time of my writing of this review, yet STILL I have heard nothing further of my order. Even after multiple communication attempts. Nothing but dead silence on the other end, even though ... again ... the online order form remains open, functional, and happily charges your credit card without batting an eyelash. Clearly, something has gone terribly, heinously amiss while SOMEONE on the other end continues to take your money. And that's just about where the paper trail ends, because your online order stays in perpetual "processing" with nothing further done. That's where it sits, even as of today. So, please, heed my warning and do NOT give Pro Audio LA a single cent of your business from this point, onward. At least not until some kind of definitive light is shed on whatever has transpired within the establishment, regarding its suddenly-tanking business model. Today, June 17, 2026, I went to Costco Business Center at North Hollywood without my City Visa…read morecard, my Costco card. First, they gave me a day pass without any problem. After an hour and a half of shopping, at the check out, I found out that they do not accept the only card I had with me, a Master Card. I thought the entire trip would be completely wasted, until the Cashier Cindy Ramarez suggested me to look into other ways to retrieve my City Card. She did not just brush me off because of a few customers in line. Then, it is the supervisor Jasmine Castillo, who spent a lot of her time, to help me. I recalled a picture of my card in my gallery and she helped me so I could transfer the information to an app, and therefore opened a Google Wallet. Then she scanned all the items and made sure my new method worked. I got to walk out with my groceries, feeling very grateful for all the helps I was given. I asked an employee if they had any available he quickly escorted me to the front desk and an associate immediately checked to see if there were any located in the store I was then taken to the manager and he also checked to see if there were any available for purchase ,in the back He said there were seven available and asked if I could wait about 10 minutes while he had his team locate the shelf I returned to the aisle to also look myself to see if the shelving unit was perhaps on a top rack, and I noted two employees scouring the immediate location, and I assumed they were looking for the shelf as well I was impressed that they were on it so quickly and earnestly At about 10 minutes, the manager came over himself to the aisle and informed me they weren't able to locate the seven that were in stock and let me know that more were coming in tomorrow and urged me to take a picture of the price sign with the order information so that I could call in to see if they had placed them out as opposed to making a trip down here again At that point another associate engaged with another team member and was informed that they knew where they were located in the store The store manager asked me to stay in the aisle and they would bring it to me Within a few minutes and associate approached me, asked me if I needed help and thanked me for my patience Wow!
