Sometimes the cost of repairing is close to getting a new system, but for our TV and home theater receiver he recommended just repairing, so he doesn't try to make you spend more. Best Buy's parts store wanted an OBSCENE $300 just for the bulb and shipping! Several local shops also quoted a one-week wait plus $200 for the bulb AND an extra $75 for the installation. I have no tools or screwdrivers because my ex's always steal them :/ so I needed home service. NH Electronics gave me a VERY reasonable price for the services rendered, $179 compared to the nearly $300 and up I would've spent elsewhere. Crime Warner may have stolen my right to watch Dexter's last season but at least with this new bulb I can watch the other programs I love. Support local businesses and forego the big name retailers.
