Didn't have to wait long he came back with what I needed. Went to checkout and even though there wasn't that many in line another cashier opened a another and called me over. Kudos to this place. I stopped by this Harbot Freight this morning to get some heavy duty gloves. I know that this store doesn't have much parking and also in a busy street so I came right in the morning when they open. I found parking easily and they already had other customers there as well. When I walked inside, the man working the cashier greeted me and I found the gloves I wanted right at the front. I still took the time to walk around the store to see what they had. I stumbled upon the car detailing area and they had some good products here. I then saw some more gloves and switch out to a smaller size of the same ones I got from the front. I had a good time here and had no issues. read more

Harbor Freight is my new favorite hardware store. They have a fantastic selection of affordable tools in all categories, but also carry the more expensive options if you want to go that route. Service is always friendly, and the salespeople are quick to answer questions or help you find something. Another thing that's so attractive about Harbor Freight is their frequent sales and coupons, which make it easy to add items to your kit without breaking the bank. I joined their loyalty club, and although it's $29/year, I figure the savings will pay for the fee pretty quickly. Viva HF! read more

I like Harborfreight but some sales agents are just plain rude and lazy. Angel I believe is his name was very unhelpful when I have an inquiry about the sale regarding the miter saw stand. I was in line and waited just to ask him but instead of him checking, he just told me whatever you see in there is the price. But he was wrong. We went in to look for some tools and got helped out by a couple of representatives. The representatives were great, helpful and nice. But when we went to go pay. The representative that was helping us out ( Gaby ) was short and not nice. Didn't say hi and just went straight into asking our number and also when the transaction was done. She walked away and didn't bother to ask if we needed a bag or not . We did have several small items to carry. So I asked her if I can have a bag please and went straight to the point . The bag is ten cents, and I told her it's fine. She put the stuff into the bag and left again. Didn't even bother to say thank you or have a nice day. You work with Customers !! Idk if she was having a tough day or not but I used to work in Customer Service and if you don't feel to be nice or anything, at least fake it. As for the sales associates a zero they were all in the back no one on the floor so to get any kind of help was nearly impossible! I had to go into the back where the employees were to get someone to help me. They go through the motions not the same service lets say like at Ace Hardware, or the small mom and pop hardware store there you will get real old school service!! The crew is amazing there they're very helpful, very knowledgeable. And they are friendly, which is not something that you find it when you're shopping anymore. They really get CustomerService! And I really appreciate that. We went in there looking for Yukon, rolling tool racks for our kitchen, and, they were so helpful at selling us the one that they had there and locating at other stores where a few others were. And I think that's over and above what customer services today. They are truly friendly people. I love to go there because this location is very clean and tidy. And the employees know where everything is which is another thing that's very unusual today, I enjoy going over there to pick up like I said the rolling racks and wheels. We have purchased many other items from there and it's just an enjoyable experience out looking for tools or tarps. And like I said, if they don't have the item they'll hunt it down for you and I think that's amazing. I think the prices are fantastic. We saved $400 on two rolling racks. And I know that for sure because they were $200 more at Home Depot. Again, this is a very enjoyable location to come in and browse and I always end up filling the cart. I call it to $200 store. Man i love this place. Harbor Freight does not sell brand name tools they sell Chicago Electric and Harbor Freight branded tools. Why do i love this place somuch? because the tools are so cheap. You can get an electric chain saw for $60! its not a brand name chainsaw but for $60 bucks its ok if it last you a good 5 years. Where can you get an electric saw for $25 bucks, not at lowes or home depot, only at HB. I just bought a Reciprocating Saw for $20 bucks. This Harbor freight is by far the best one I've ever been to. And I have been to A LOT . All the stores are set up the same and they all have the same selection. It's the staff that makes this one amazing. We've been having rolling blackouts in the greater LA area for the past couple of days with the excessive heat. An employee by the name of Cynthia helped me when I was in a panic. A member of my household is handicap from the chest down and depends on power to keep his medical equipment functioning. Cynthia took the time to walk me through what I needed to do to get a generator up and going. She was so patient and so kind and certainly DESERVES an outstanding review. The store itself is not too large, so you can find everything fairly quickly and the staff is pretty nice, saying "welcome" every time you enter. You can easily find someone to help locate an item or two or bring it from the back. At some point the store was running separate lines for each cashier and that sucked, because a single buyer would hold up the line you were in and people who showed up way after you in a different line simply went ahead of you (practically jumping the line). After the many complaints they finally consolidated the lines, so with that problem solved it is a much better store now. Some may frown upon cheap Chinese tools but I have yet to break a ratchet or a socket which was a fraction of the cost. read more

Love Harbor Freight even though their products are hit or miss. I have bought things from car jacks, and a Flux Core welder, to compressor air hoses and they have held up really nice. I wouldn't recommend their hammers though. They occasionally switch suppliers for their parts so you can get a great Paint spray air gun one time and possibly get a crappy one in six months. I give them 5 stars because of their affordability. My next purchase is going to be the Earthquake XT that they just released. I have been itching to try it. Especially now that I need to replace the leaf springs on my boat trailer. Great store for the typical handyman/homeowner. ***The colored ratchet wrenches are pretty good too. Had the worst experience here at Monday at 5pm the ladies at the front were nice but not knowledgeable of the wrench I needed. The boss was on lunch and they offered no other help to find anyone else to help. Awesome place to get all your tools! The staff here are super nice and friendly. They always have enough cashiers and you will never wait in line for more than 30 seconds. I have purchased many of my tools here and will definitely go back for more whenever I need anything else. I bought a "nice" machine that cut french fries , this was in about 4 month ago. My wife used it once to cut 3 potatoes and it worked fine, Last week she tried to use it a second time and the machine just fell apart in her hands (lucky she didn't cut herself as the knives popped out all over the place). Last weekend we showed up in the store with the machine (all parts looking brand new) requesting our money back. We did not have the receipt, but as a member of the store they could pull up the transaction.... if they wanted to. The bottom line is, the store manager refused to take responsibility, oh,,,,, and he offered me a new machine, the same one.... very funny.... I am not sure, maybe he was joking...... This is not my first bad experience with Harbor Freight Tools Store I also experienced bad workmanship on something else I bought at the West Hills Store. At that store I was treated respectfully and refunded my money.
