Strong 4 1/2 stars! This is a nice RV park, nestled in the woods by a lovely river. Every staff member that we encountered was friendly, gracious and helpful. We enjoyed the on-site store and appreciated the convenience. The sites are a good size, and the outdoor furniture and barbecue that is included with your site, is high-quality. We're excited to return in the summer with our grandsons!

If you have little kids this is a great place to camp! With decent bathrooms, free showers, playgrounds, on site activities, a coffee stand and shop there are plenty of amenities. Love having the pool there and also River access is perfect! Lots of ways to cool down during hot summer camping. With a 4 and 8 year old, camping here is perfect. Proximity to town is also amazing, I would consider it walking distance for bigger kids and adults. Also pet friendly, and they gave our pup a dog biscuit on check in . The outdoor movie nights are a family favorite. Pro tip: you can order firewood and ice in the store or via text to be delivered to your campsite! You can also leave your trash bags at the edge of your site during the day and they come pick them up for you. I should disclaimer that if you want a quiet, remote camping trip, this is not it. There are many kids and families, it is busy and sites are close together. Price is high but of course, that comes with the amount of amenities. In general, we love camping here!

    Christmas Day snow!!!

First time staying at a KOA with our new trailer and this location didn't disappoint! Bathrooms and showers were clean. Laundry facilities are affordable and convenient especially with wet snow clothes. Staff is quick to respond through texting. Couple tips: map is a bit confusing, take a right at the big KOA sign to enter, go all the way to the back of the property to the office, it's way back, not the small building, keep going lol. Not going to lie, little bit of sticker shock at the total bill. Six nights was $840. We had an extra guest, extra $, and an extra vehicle, extra $. Read the fine print and call for clarification if you aren't sure! Because we were there in the winter most of the facilities were closed. Look forward to visiting in warmer weather and taking advantage of all the amenities!

I had a good time! There are many amenities as well as social events. You can enjoy the pool or you can walk to the river. The room we stayed in had A/C so if it got too hot you could easily cool down. Also helps for sleeping. I would stay here again.

If you haven't been to this particular KOA in, say, the last 5 years, then going there now will definitely be a shock. It's changed dramatically. The office/store has been upgraded and carries more gift and souvenir type items, as well as sundries, staple foods, beer and wine. Prices are reasonable, but lines are s-l-o-w. The pool and hot tub areas are adequate. The pool is heated but not much (I did not find it enjoyable) and the hot tub fits at most 6 adults. They close early- the pool at 7pm, the hot tub at 8. Hot tub is ages 18 and over only. The RV area is basically a parking lot. No trees. No privacy. No real fire pits, just grills. Each spot has a little patio and some chairs, but you're right next to your neighbor and they pack you in there. Unfortunately, there's no site guaranteed, so no matter how early you book and request, you might just be out of luck. They added a lot more cabins, and we stayed in a deluxe one with a bedroom, bunk, living area, kitchen and bathroom- The description says "full kitchen", but be aware that they do NOT have a small oven inside. They have a gas stovetop with three burners, but the one in our cabin wasn't working properly so we had to manually light it with a lighter. There's a small gas BBQ on the deck and a small grill out front with no privacy. No place for a campfire, just FYI. Patio table with four chairs. The kitchen had a small microwave, a regular refrigerator and freezer, nice dishes and glasses and basic utensils that were clean. You are expected to wash what you use and they provide dish soap and a sponge for you to do so. I felt as though our cabin showed some sign of wear. One of the cabinet drawers was rickety, and the furnishings were a little banged up (not bad), and while I didn't mind that, I noticed a lot more spider webs than I'd expect, and our bathroom wall had blood spatter on it from a previous occupant. I did bring that to the management's attention at checkout. The description also states "full bath with shower and tub" which we thought would be great for our kids. Alas, there's no tub. There's a shower with benches, but the spout is low and not suitable for tall people, and it has a shower curtain instead of a door, so difficult to use for kids who are excited and not easy to contain. Plenty of hot water until someone turns on the sink in the kitchen. It would have been nice to see a list of amenities that were accurately stated on the website, as we would have been able to avoid bringing literally half of what we packed. I will list what I remember for you: Bunk beds come with a fleece blanket and pillows. Queen bed come fully made with sheets and comforter and pillows. Futon folds into full bed in main room. Towels are provided (6 large ones) --- Wish they would have told us. We found them at check out. Small shampoo/conditioner/lotion/face wipes are provided. Small wall mounted blow dryer. Medicine cabinet. No robe or slippers (I didn't expect one). No real closet, just a bar in the rooms with a few hangers. No dressers or drawers. Enough plates/bowls/glasses utensils for about 6 people Knife block Small cutting board Spatula, serving spoon, scissors One extra garbage bag TV with remote (no DVD player or otherwise) in the front room only. Alarm clock. Bible. Keurig with two regular and one decaf pods No bottled water Two wine glasses Small dining table with three chairs Outdoor porch swing Gated and fenced deck Please note that the curtains in the cabins are almost sheer and provide no blackout whatsoever. It will be necessary to drape blankets or towels over all windows if you require darkness to sleep. There's ceiling fans, heat, and A/C. There's a playground with swings, slides, and a few other things, and it's been well maintained. Large outdoor chess set with pieces that are 2-3 feet tall. There's a shuttle (at times) that runs every other hour to downtown Leavenworth. They show a movie at 8p in the meadow on a large screen. You can walk to the river on a well maintained and lighted path. There's free showers in the main restroom area for those without them in their cabins. They serve breakfast on the weekends which consists of coffee, OJ, pancakes and bacon. $5 for adults (three pancakes and two strips of bacon) or $3 for kids (one pancake, one bacon). Was surprisingly good. Friendly staff. You bag up your trash and set it curbside at any time and staff retrieves it for you throughout the day. All in all, it's a fun place, but your assigned spot will definitely affect the outcome of your stay. Cabin KL11 starts a row of deluxe cabins and those are in a good spot, close to everything but not right on the main road. If you have an RV and you want some trees around, you'll want to ask for a spot in the "old" part of the campground. Happy camping!

The location is wonderful as you can walk to the Leavenworth village in just a few minutes. The room was comfortable, the bed plush and plenty of pillows to choose from. Although there was an adjoining door, thankfully noise was not an issue during our stay. We had the complimentary breakfast on our first morning here, which is a nice perk of staying here. I liked the omelet with onions and peppers. The food was OK overall. We got a margarita pizza from the pub restaurant which was good. It's nice to have a food option available right in the hotel. Went into the pool once - it's located outside. It was refreshing to cool off. The size of the pool is on the smaller side, and so once people come in and get noisy, naturally it isn't so relaxing. Would've stayed in longer, but oh well. The first night, my family member told me that our room was out of conditioner and she used the little bit remaining, and that we were also low on shampoo. I went to the front desk and requested more shampoo and conditioner. The desk attendant said you just had to push the container hard (there are dispensers opposed to individual travel-size bottles). I went back to the room and only got a few drops of conditioner to use. The following day, we asked a housekeeping team member to check our dispensers. She ALSO said you just had to push the dispenser hard. But when they came to our room later that day, we saw that the dispensers had been filled up because finally there was product in each and plenty to use. Not sure why it couldn't have been fixed in the first place, and it was assumed we weren't using them correctly. Once we checked out from the hotel, my family member remarked it was strange that the person at the front desk just promptly took our two room key cards and didn't say anything, like briefly asking how our stay was, or simply just a quick 'thank you' for staying here. Maybe it was just particularly busy.... but something like that can go a long way.

Walking to the local Safeway might be a tad too much for most folks though, especially if you buy a lot of stuff. I drove to the Safeway for a bottle of liquor and soda chaser, for example. I will drive to a fresh fruit stand also. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast also. The very fluffy biscuits seemed home made and the sweets(cinnamon rolls and a walnut something muffin) also appeared to be done locally. I enjoyed my cinnamon roll. Coffee was excellent, not watery. The meat protein varied and was also surprisingly very decent, not to salty. The breakfast is better than at most Hilton properties, IMHO. I highly recommend this hotel.

Salute. Pool staff is excellent, they stay very professional and have classy behavior. The only time we've had issues at the pool is when there are needy guest. They draw so much attention to themselves when we're just trying to relax. Thankfully it's only been a few of the times we've been there. These people usually strike me as those less fortunate in spirit and at the bank. It's clear they over extended their bank account and are trying to milk it for every cent. I wish I could tell them to just go home but that would be giving them the attention they desperately seek.. and I'm sure would cause the staff more issues. Reception and dinning staff also excellent. They are very professional and kind. I've gotten so used to coming here I hate to say I have forgotten some of the formalities like waiting to be seated in the dinning room but the staff didn't make me feel bad for it. I was just very embarrassed. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. I wish I could take this hotel home with me every time I leave.

The entrance is locked, so I used the call button, and a staff member told me I could come in with a few questions. I walked the few steps straight to the front desk. It quickly became clear entry was for me alone perhaps I missed this part over the intercom, and my group was commanded to "get out" outside like we just trespassed and they obliged fast, legit they were scared. Now how a hotel wants to run its business is the hotel's call to make, and I don't dispute it. What I take issue with is the delivery and lack of respect. When I calmly mentioned this wasn't a great first impression with a light chuckle to make light of situation and tried to explain how it came off , the front desk employee, who identified himself as Michael, cut me off with "stop, stop" instead of a brief, courteous explanation. His reasoning was that this is a "guest exclusive" hotel, which is an odd thing to lead with toward someone who walked in specifically to ask about becoming a guest. I have no issue with a guests-only, adults-only policy. My issue is entirely with how a prospective, paying customer was treated at the door. For a property with this reputation and price point, I expected warmth and patience. What I got was curt and dismissive from the first moment. I'm 34 years old and I've never had a hotel interaction like this. This is only the second review about a hotel I've written in my life and the first negative one. I don't make a habit of complaining. I walked in genuinely hoping to book, wanting to become one of the five-star reviews I'd read. Instead I left having been talked over at the front desk. If you're weighing whether the glowing ratings tell the whole story, take that for what it's worth. To the Johnson family and Steinbock Resorts: five generations in Leavenworth, a hotel you designed and built with your own hands, a reputation people drive across the state for. That legacy deserves better representation at the door. One employee, in one minute, can undo years of what your family spent decades building. I hope this reaches you, and I hope you take it seriously.

As reluctant as I was to share my experience because I wanted to keep this place a secret (lol), I just had to! Keep in mind, the ambience of this Inn is part of Leavenworth so don't expect it to be completely modernized or contemporary. The staff were very nice and friendly. Always smiled as we passed through. The amenities available during your stay, was great! There are many more things available/ additional areas to this place that I didn't access during my stay. The dinning area is very clean and large with many windows to view the back of the property as well as, the snow capped mountains. The rooms are quite big and bathrooms are huge. Both very clean! The beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. In the room, there are ACs and a door that leads to a small balcony with a patio table and chairs for the outer rooms. This area isn't a personal-ish space because there are no walls separating the other rooms and during our stay, we did not experience other patrons utilizing this access to enter nor exit therefore It wasn't an issue for us at all. The upper floors have access to the stairs going up or down to the parking stalls. I, personally, did not feel it was a security issue at all. No noise issue at all as well, very quiet and peaceful. I was able to checkout the family/game room and it is large with everything they say is available. There was nothing impersonal about this space even though It's a shared space. The 2 lounge areas make you feel like you are at home. We actually sat in the lounge area on the second floor to relax and figure out where we were going for dinner. I've seen families having lunch and others just doing their thing. The lounge areas were kept clean. Couches were comfortable too. We were in walking distance to the promenade and never felt unsafe. In summary, I really needed much RRR and the Enzian Inn did it for me!! Everything was perfect!! All that I experienced here, was intentional and I felt important. In general Leavenworth itself is very dog friendly. Wherever we walked, including on Front Street, we saw many dog owners out with their pups. My GSD was in dog heaven! We even met another dog owner in town, whose kids were so sad, because they felt they couldn't take their dog on the trip with them. I recommended they consider the Blue Elk Inn for their next visit to Levenworth. They seemed ecstatic to learn of such a dog friendly hotel and one without dog weight limits, as their dog was large like our German Shepherd. I also showed them a pic of the dog friendly package left on our bed, which included a dog blanket (for your pet to lay on your bed), a paw cleaning towel and dog treats. The front desk also had a dog treat & poop bags display. I've never seen such a dog friendly hotel and where each and every available room was also dog friendly! We stayed in the Superior King with Patio, which includes a private entry and gas fire pit. This particular accommodation is extremely convenient for potty breaks, rather than those rooms inside the Inn or on the 2nd floor, especially for those late night potty breaks. Plus, since the patio is fenced in, it allows your pup an area to roam off leash. It's also nice for those that might have loud pups, when left alone, while you're out eating or enjoying the pool, jacuzzi or sauna. The patio rooms are close to your parked vehicle, so that's another plus, if that option is necessary. The wonderful breakfast, which is included, was also a very welcomed hit each morning. This is not a Continental Breakfast, it's a full on breakfast, which rotated daily. We contacted Orbital Inn before our trip and simply asked to reschedule for another weekend, but were told no. We understand policies, but expected some basic compassion given the circumstances. What was most disappointing was the way we were treated by the General Manager. Rather than showing empathy or trying to find a reasonable solution, we were repeatedly blamed for not buying trip protection, asked to apologize for not doing so, and talked over when we tried to end the conversation. Unfortunately, based on the lack of flexibility and customer service, we will not return to Orbital Inn and would strongly encourage others to consider staying elsewhere in Leavenworth. UPDATE: the host's comment below is a total lie. Not once did Linda offer to reimburse or credit half of the stay. She was on speaker phone and multiple people heard our conversation so I have witnesses to prove it. The only thing she offered was $100 credit for a future stay, which she offered via email once my husband reached out.

Fitness center had good equipment. Steven Cardenas at the front desk was very warm, professional, and helpful. He gave us a great overview of the town and made several keen recommendations of where to eat and how to use the free bus system effectively. We also enjoyed walking to and from town (~20mins) when the weather was nice.

Location: it is located nearby downtown Leavenworth, a quick four minute drive! It is also in the same area as a Safeway which was super convenient! Room: we stayed in a room with a king sized bed on the third floor! The digital app worked super well, and we did not need to use our room keys for anything! It also was super convenient to use the app for other room controls and checking out. In addition, the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but the TV had both cable and all the streaming apps embedded so I just needed to simply log into my Apple TV account! The only downside to the room is at the door to the bathroom was the same door to the closet, and it was a little bit broken, so it didn't slide easily. While the bed was big, it was pretty hard, and the pillows were not very comfortable. Otherwise, the blackout curtains were great, and the AC worked well! The rooms also come with a mini fridge, iron, and ice machine down the hall. No microwave from what I can recall. Bathroom was super clean! Amenities: my husband and I work out every morning, so having a gym was a criteria during this trip (yes we still enjoyed the trails outdoors!!). The treadmills were great and the free weights as well! We also used the on-site laundry, which was convenient and that we just needed to pay with her credit card. The hotel usually has detergent and dryer sheets for sale, but they ran out, but it was not a problem because we went a few steps down the road to Safeway to pick some up! We also were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub! Food: there is free, hot coffee (light roast, dark roast, decaf) & hot water for tea 24/7 located in the lobby! In addition, a delicious continental, buffet style breakfast is included in your stay and it is available from 6 AM to 10 AM. Also, if you missed the breakfast hour or need to rush out, they also have free bags prepared for travelers on the go filled with a bagel, a bottled water, PB&J, a fruit, and a granola bar! Parking: free and plentiful! Side entrances to the hotel from the parking lot were also accessible from the app btw!! Staff: everyone was super friendly! The rooms are usually cleaned every other day but the cleaning staff were able to clean upon request on the second day! I am always an anxious traveler and want to feel safe/clean whenever I stay - and this was the perfect place!! I would recommend & if we ever came back to Leavenworth again, we would totally stay here again!

It had a small microwave and a good sized small fridge. There was also a nice oscillating fan which ended up being very important. The room has AC but the air conditioning unit can't really keep up. You can't set the thermostat lower than 70 and the thermometer in the room showed 74-76 most of the time on a day in the mid 80s. Combined with the fan, it was enough to sleep comfortably. I'm unsure what would happen if the temperature rises to the 90s or 100s though. You have to climb stairs to the second floor. The stairs are inside. I'll post a picture of them. There's no elevator and no first floor guest rooms so it's something to know about if this matters to you. The parking lot is right across the pedestrian only street. I might stay there again. My only issue is that I like the room colder than it was, but I think the good fan was a smart touch and I'm glad I didn't have to go ask for one. Other people might be happy with that temperature so I added it to my review. Oh ya, dog friendly!

The stay came with free parking which was a bonus in Leavenworth because it's such a walkable area. The location of this LOGE couldn't be more convenient. We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and many of the sights in town within minutes. Check in actually happened at the Iconoclast Cafe, where the staff apparently double as baristas and hotel reception. Nonetheless everyone was friendly and helpful despite having to take the time to complete some of the check in information since I didn't book direct and didn't receive the links in advance. Even so, I liked the hotel and room layout as my friend and I had two separate beds and there was even a hammock hanging above them, which was such a fun, unexpected feature. The space had an outdoorsy modern feel with thoughtful elements that made it feel unique and cozy (headlamp, cooler, rumpl blanket, etc.). Even though we didn't end up using the LOGE app or the complimentary bikes, we appreciated that those amenities were available and it's definitely something I would take advantage of on a longer stay and/or at another LOGE hotel. We also didn't check out the beergarden! I'd say one of the only downsides was that the building itself felt a little old though I guess the charm of the space and overall experience made up for it. All in all, a great stay for a short getaway and an event better introduction to the LOGE hotels. I'd happily stay again and look forward to checking out other locations!
