Really give this place a chance if you're looking for a place to spend some time. Its outdoor+upstairs seating is lovely! Perfect for both a hangout and time with yourself. This place has a lot of variety and offers everything from ice-cream to savory pastries. I came during their Australian food festival, and ordered a traditional pastie. If you've decided to give this place a try, then this traditional pastie would be a great addition to your beverage since it's very hearty and filling. The filling contains ground meat and root veggies, and while the flavor was very pleasant and tasted home-made, I'm not sure I would order it again. For its price, it's a very typical flavor made with basic quality ingredients/technique. I adore this cafe for its extensive seating and homie decor/setup. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. This place is THE PERFECT spot to study because of this. it's OPEN LATE with free wifi!! Coffee-wise, I can't say it's the best in the area. But if you love coffee, you wouldn't be disappointed.

The staff here are like family, they take such good care of us and the coffee specials are so unique and yummy. I love the shop and the little porch seating... so does my dog :)

This is a sweet little place Featuring coffees hot or iced Teas hot or iced Some pastries And sausage rolls And yes I did notice the wallpaper Everything here is koala they have cups, shirts and other assorted things There is some seating upstairs and downstairs sadly if you can't climb stairs this spot won't work for you My latte was lovely Friendly service It's more high end price wise a flavored latte will set you back 6$ plus My cookie was nice but too much frosting Cute place if I'm near again I'd stop back

Sign out front. Parking is limited.

We've visited a few times, and each was nice. Today was exceptional. We were setting off in a short trip for business technically, but still included lots of fun. We didn't know what we wanted, changed sizes, "himmed and hawed" ( no one was behind us).. the staff working (young girl and fellow) couldn't have been more jovial or pleasant. The mochas were very good. The raspberry lemonade was surprisingly good. My only criticism would be that the coffee temp could've been a touch hotter since I like to sip mine over a longer period and this got chillier quicker than I would like.. easy fix.. I'll remember to ask for hotter next time.. but I'm a weirdo with temps lol. Millie's ice cream is attached and my son gives them a thumbs up, but he goes w his buddies on their bikes so I'm going by his experience (and frequency of "moommm, can I get money for ice cream?"!

Okay I will start with the only downside to this place. The parking lot is not close to the door. If it's raining you will have to make a walk to get to the actual shop. That's the only problem that I have with it. Other than that I thought the coffee was delicious and it was super cute inside. My friend and I decided to stop here on the way to a work conference. I opted for the vanilla latte and she got one of the seasonal drinks. We then ordered a sausage roll and I believe an egg pastry. The sausage roll was okay. I don't know if it was because we let it sit in the box it was just not as flaky crusty as we expected but that could be because it was hot and it could have steamed and then got a little bit soggier whenever we did eat it. The egg pastry was very good. It had a great flavor and did not have that soggy texture. But the egg and the fillings weren't as thick as a sausage roll so that could be a reason why it kept better than the other one. I thought the staff was very sweet. They answered our questions and talk to us while they were making things. The service was fantastic. No complaints there at all. They do have a little shop that you can buy snacks and trinkets and canned or bottled drinks. And they are attached to an ice cream shop that I think opens later than the actual coffee shop. And the ice cream is Millie's. Really a cute place. I would definitely come here again if I was on the road looking for some coffee on my way to somewhere.

The koala branding is going to bring all the girls to this charming spot! And the baked goods from 350 Bakery & Gluten Free Goat will keep us coming back for more Seriously such a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing spot. The interior will charm you, and the selection of goods will intrigue you. I recommend an iced caramel latte and a sausage hand pie. Well there is no interior seating currently, there is a covered patio with one table and four chairs, and plenty of lawn space to sit in.

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife for our morning coffee. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this day it was Koala Coffee & Tea House. The shop itself looks like it used to be a house and is located on West Ingomar Road. It seemed to be a popular place too as there were customers that came in both before and after us. Since I got our stuff to go, I only saw their front room which consisted of a counter to order, a display area filled with goodies and then a bunch of merchandise around the outside. For our coffees on this morning I went with a flat white while my wife went with a raspberry mocha cold brew. Then we also got a fruit scone and a vanilla cookie as well. I first started out with a bite of the cookie which was nice. The cookie itself was soft and there was a good amount of flavorful frosting on the top. After that I tried the scone which was also pretty good. As for the coffees, my wife enjoyed her raspberry mocha and I thought that my flat white was good. You could definitely taste both the coffee and the milk in it which was nice. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees and pastries, so why not?

Finally had a chance to stop and try this place!!!! Wow! What a wonderful and cute place to grab coffee and treats. The interior is cute. Warm and welcoming and I love the wallpaper with koalas on it. Staff was extremely friendly. I got two large iced coffees and 2 treats. The coffee is wonderful. Perfect!!!! I also got 2 treats for me and the hubby. I got a blueberry muffin and a piece of coffee cake. Both were moist and delicious!! I am sad we didn't stop sooner but we'll definitely be back!!

I had a nice iced caramel latte and samosa hand pie! My wife and I loved the Australian aesthetic! Good prices as well!

Great little coffee shop in the North Hills. We've been stopping here on weekends pretty regularly and they consistently provide good, friendly service and great coffees. They also have a menu of a few hot food items and a pastry case with a rotating selection. One of only a few shops in the Pittsburgh area with a flat white and I'd say Koala's is the best around.

Bella Christie's bakers and pastry chefs make cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and pastries. They even make custom cakes and event tables for weddings, birthdays, and other special events. Cakes are available in about a dozen flavors (e.g., vanilla, chocolate, banana, and hazelnut) with about a few dozen flavors of fillings (e.g., almond custard, mango mousse, raspberry jam, peach compote, espresso buttercream, and fruit). When I entered this business, I saw two display cases that were full of macarons, cheesecakes, mini cupcakes, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. An employee immediately and kindly greeted me. As I was selecting my desserts, the employee carefully bagged and boxed them. She accurately rang up my purchase, and she thanked me. Here are my reviews for the desserts: Strawberry milkshake cookie - $2.75 - 4.5 stars - This cookie looked the prettiest in the display and had the most unique-sounding flavor. It was pink and had sprinkles and white chips mixed in. The cookie was a large size, and it was fresh and moist. I liked the strawberry flavor. Strawberry milkshake cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - Can you tell that I like strawberry milkshakes? :) This cupcake was a good size, and it consisted of moist pink cake that had strawberry pieces mixed in. It was topped with fresh, creamy strawberry and white icing with sprinkles. On top was a paper straw, and I put it in my mouth because I had assumed that it was white chocolate--oops! Lemon blueberry cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - This cupcake was also a good size. The cake was lemon yellow with a few blueberries mixed in. On top was a blueberry-flavored buttercream icing that was topped with two fresh blueberries and a lemon gummy. I enjoyed these flavors. Turtle cheesecake - $4.50 - No rating - My husband ate this cheesecake. He said, "It was fine." One additional thing that I noticed was that the plastic tray that held the cupcakes was type 6 plastic, which is not recyclable in our community. I wonder if the owners could explore other options for the tray.

The flavor of cherries was subtler than I had expected. Apple pie bar - $3 - 3.5 stars - This bar contained a very thin layer of apple. I would recommend adding more apples for more flavor. Lemon pie bar - $3 - 5 stars - This bar had a strong taste of lemon and a nicely crispy crust. Cherry-chocolate scone - $3.25 - 3.5 stars - This scone was a large size. It contained a thin layer of cherries and chocolate chips. 6 various cookies - $5 - I rate the peanut-butter cookie as 4 stars, the sugar-sprinkle cookie as 3.5 stars, the snickerdoodle cookie as 3.5 stars, the chocolate-chip cookie as 3.5 stars, the oatmeal-raisin cookie as 4.5 stars, and the chocolate-cherry cookie as 3.5 stars.
