The fall special Old Cardigan was a latte with vanilla bourbon homemade syrup and cinnamon, didn't taste the bourbon that much but still loved the drink and its flavor! Also really enjoyed their pumpkin chocolate chip bar that somehow wasn't too sweet and had amazing pumpkin flavor, try to get there early because they were sold out of a lot by the afternoon. The staff was super nice, the little interior was also so cute, with some retail, mugs, beans, etc. available. Prices are about a few to several dollars per serving. Their pastries are sourced from local bakeries. They also sell merchandise such as cups and bags of coffees. I have been a customer of this business since 2022. I have drunk the hot chocolate (4 stars), hot masala chai latte (5 stars), iced chai latte (3.5 stars), ginger-peach tea (5 stars), flat-white coffee (4 stars, but I am NOT a regular coffee drinker), and cherry latte (4.5 stars). I have eaten the peanut-butter-cup cookie (4.5 stars), cinnamon roll (4.5 stars), sausage roll (5 stars), spinach-ricotta croissant (4.5 stars), mixed-berry scone (5 stars), cake pop (4.5 stars), cookies-n-creme krispie (5 stars), peanut-butter krispie (4.5 stars), birthday-cake krispie (4 stars), and chocolate-covered Oreos (5 stars). I'd heard so many great thing about Koala and was excited to stop with friends last week! We visited in the morning on a holiday, so it was fairly busy but we were able to be serviced quickly. The staff was super friendly, answering our questions and telling us about their summer drink specials! I had an iced salted caramel latte with oat milk and it was delicious, not overly sweet! If you've decided to give this place a try, then this traditional pastie would be a great addition to your beverage since it's very hearty and filling. The filling contains ground meat and root veggies, and while the flavor was very pleasant and tasted home-made, I'm not sure I would order it again. For its price, it's a very typical flavor made with basic quality ingredients/technique. I adore this cafe for its extensive seating and homie decor/setup. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. This place is THE PERFECT spot to study because of this. it's OPEN LATE with free wifi!! Coffee-wise, I can't say it's the best in the area. We've visited a few times, and each was nice. Today was exceptional. We were setting off in a short trip for business technically, but still included lots of fun. We didn't know what we wanted, changed sizes, "himmed and hawed" ( no one was behind us).. the staff working (young girl and fellow) couldn't have been more jovial or pleasant. The mochas were very good. The raspberry lemonade was surprisingly good. My only criticism would be that the coffee temp could've been a touch hotter since I like to sip mine over a longer period and this got chillier quicker than I would like.. easy fix.. I'll remember to ask for hotter next time.. but I'm a weirdo with temps lol. Okay I will start with the only downside to this place. The parking lot is not close to the door. If it's raining you will have to make a walk to get to the actual shop. That's the only problem that I have with it. Other than that I thought the coffee was delicious and it was super cute inside. My friend and I decided to stop here on the way to a work conference. I opted for the vanilla latte and she got one of the seasonal drinks. We then ordered a sausage roll and I believe an egg pastry. The sausage roll was okay. I don't know if it was because we let it sit in the box it was just not as flaky crusty as we expected but that could be because it was hot and it could have steamed and then got a little bit soggier whenever we did eat it. The egg pastry was very good. It had a great flavor and did not have that soggy texture. But the egg and the fillings weren't as thick as a sausage roll so that could be a reason why it kept better than the other one. I thought the staff was very sweet. They answered our questions and talk to us while they were making things. The service was fantastic. No complaints there at all. They do have a little shop that you can buy snacks and trinkets and canned or bottled drinks. And they are attached to an ice cream shop that I think opens later than the actual coffee shop. And the ice cream is Millie's. Really a cute place. I would definitely come here again if I was on the road looking for some coffee on my way to somewhere. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while and if I go again I would try the tea over the coffee. Ambiance is cute. They have ice cream, baked goods, coffee, and tea. I had a seasonal special coffee and savory croissant. I was disappointed that the coffee wasn't hot. Lukewarm is probably generous because that term will mean something different to everyone, but it was my version of lukewarm. It was also very sweet. So sweet that I had to stop and get a black coffee just to tone down sweetness. I've never felt the need to do that before. The ricotta and spinach croissant was heated, which I really appreciate. I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife for our morning coffee. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this day it was Koala Coffee & Tea House. The shop itself looks like it used to be a house and is located on West Ingomar Road. It seemed to be a popular place too as there were customers that came in both before and after us. Since I got our stuff to go, I only saw their front room which consisted of a counter to order, a display area filled with goodies and then a bunch of merchandise around the outside. For our coffees on this morning I went with a flat white while my wife went with a raspberry mocha cold brew. Then we also got a fruit scone and a vanilla cookie as well. I first started out with a bite of the cookie which was nice. The cookie itself was soft and there was a good amount of flavorful frosting on the top. After that I tried the scone which was also pretty good. As for the coffees, my wife enjoyed her raspberry mocha and I thought that my flat white was good. You could definitely taste both the coffee and the milk in it which was nice. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees and pastries, so why not? read more

Finally had a chance to stop and try this place!!!! Wow! What a wonderful and cute place to grab coffee and treats. The interior is cute. Warm and welcoming and I love the wallpaper with koalas on it. Staff was extremely friendly. I got two large iced coffees and 2 treats. The coffee is wonderful. Perfect!!!! Koala Coffee is a great coffee place in a great spot. I've been waiting for them to open since I saw some posts on social media and have not been disappointed. My standard judgement of a coffee shop is based on their beans, their lattes, and their espresso, and Koala Coffee does well on all accounts. With so many chains around, you lose some of the nice touches of a locally owned place, but Koala brings that to a nice neighborhood in an area that's not too far off the main road to make it a regular stop. read more

So much potential. The place is adorable, lots of cute merchandise, decent espresso drinks, tasty pastries. The drip coffee is always a little off - just not done well and I typically really like the Intelligentsia blends. The problem is the staff - they're friendly, but honestly, because the place is often not too crowded inside, they spend tons of time talking to each other - again, no big deal, right? I'm not looking for silence - just maybe a variation of the vibe - it's literally always at an 11/10. The problem is the sheer volume - they're mere feet from one another and just screaming back and forth, singing loudly, talking over each other with each one getting louder each time, yelling upstairs and downstairs to each other. On three separate occasions, I was trying to have coffee with a friend (a different one each time) and it became so loud and disruptive with the staff conversations, that each time, my friend suggested we just leave and find somewhere else to catch up. Once we even tried to hide downstairs and it wasn't any better. I know about their dinner plans, their favorite songs, what they think of various customers after they leave, so much information - I wish I could hear over them well enough to know this much about my coffee companions! There isn't another coffee shop close by - which may be lucky for them because I suspect it wouldn't be hard to do better. read more

LOVE IT THERE! I am addicted to the chai latte with tumeric. My husband enjoys the coffee - Intelligencia brand. And now that they have Millie's ice cream - so tempting to stop there every day. The new seating area outside is a nice addition - and now you can sit inside, too. They have new egg bites that are super yummy.
