    Mixed grill for 2
    Judy S.

Our first time here for dinner, and as it was a beautiful evening and we thought it would be so nice to sit outside to eat. We got the mixed grill for 2 ($68) and it didn't disappoint! Stated off with complimentary fresh hummus, pitas, Israeli salad and pickles. Then came the entree of rib eye steak, chicken and a kabob on a bed of lettuce with grilled veggies. We couldn't even finish it all! But it was so delicious, I took what was left over to eat tomorrow! Service was casual but attentive as we sat creekside enjoying the evening.

Stumbled upon this cute restaurant on my way back to NJ. Great atmosphere. The staff was very hospital and friendly. Dining was nice, we had a creek alongside the restaurant. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, grilled to perfection. I highly recommend this place!!

Great little roadside grill along the river. Delicious food prepped fresh. Two thumbs up for a summer lunch!

I found this restaurant by searching restaurants in the area. The reviews were overall positive. I totally agree! I came for lunch and hand the Lamb Burger. The burger was seasoned well and so good! The owner was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I definitely recommend! I also had the Jerusalem hummus to go. The pita was moist and soft and went well with the hummus. The hummus was flavorful and creamy. Loved it!

We were staying in the Pocono's with our daughter and family and her friends. We made reservations at this restaurant. While driving in the area and drove by this place which is very small. We called there to make sure they could accommodate our party of ten later that night. We were assured that there was indoor seating for us. We arrived at out appointed time. The indoor seating was actually a covered porch with a long picnic table to accommodate our party of ten. There was another table for four and then a smaller high top table. There were also propane heaters to take the chill off. The menu is limited but excellent. There is no children's menu but there are steak & chicken options for kids. We ordered chicken and steak platters and a lamb burger. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered medium sized hummus. The hummus was delicious and was served with pita bread snd lavash bread. We also ordered an Israeli salad which was also excellent. You order the food at the window inside but everything is delivered by the staff. He staff is very friendly and attentive. During the summer there is outside seating. Do not be afraid of this place because if the location or because of the decor. This is a hidden gem.

I highly encourage anyone in the poconos area to give Koby's a try. It is relatively new place (open for about a year) but has so much charm. The menu is small but has options for different dietary restrictions. All the dining is outdoors for now (with cute tables and lighting) but the owner is planning to construct some enclosed dining areas for the winter. Food was fast and the service was great. The warm pita was divine. We can't wait to come back.

Idyllic setting by the creek. Food was delicious, but portions quite small for the price paid. Very friendly staff.

I ordered the shrimp and lobster chowder ($6) while my husband got the 6oz Flo's filet. My soup was very hot, but had no evidence of any lobster and only a scant amount of the dime-sized baby shrimp. Not a lot of flavor, sadly. My husband's filet, baked potato and Caesar salad were very good. I got a beer, which came fine. My hubby's drink (as he said 'a Black Russian, more vodka than Kaluha') first came with cream as a White Russian. They took it back, but brought a Black Russian with so much Kaluha that it was way too sweet and dark. They tried a third time and finally got it right! So, while we had a few issues, the staff was all friendly. The bar had to be cleaned off when we got there, even though there was only one person there, but they did it without our asking. They did their best to make things right.

We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.
