Daughter and I had breakfastat KK. First visit. Staff (nice ladies) was so friendly. Coffee was first rate. We got a biscuit and gravy to share- good biscuit and outstanding sausage gravy. We both had scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. All was delicious. Coffee was topped off when needed. Loved the open kitchen. Service was very quick. Plan to return soon. read more

It's a small, low key place for a sit down breakfast. Definitely a local highlight full of such kind staff. You feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. There isn't a ton of seating and it's first come first serve but one of our favorites on a Saturday morning to visit when we want something simple but don't want to cook ourselves. read more

This is a true diner in a small town, mid America. When you walk into a place like this you should know what you are expecting, the menu will all be similar and the food a tad greasy, coffee black and strong and a friendly staff who knows what they are doing almost on autopilot. I was disappointed. I thought this would be a great, home-style place to get breakfast while traveling in the area. I asked about the corned beef hash and was told that it came from a can. So, I ordered a ham and cheese omelet. The ham was sliced sandwich meat you can buy in the deli aisle of any grocery store and the cheese was sliced American cheese. I was quite disappointed. Not sure why this has a 5 star rating! We went there due to the rating and were so disappointed. It's not hard to scramble a egg, yet my egg was hard and scorched. My pancakes were nothing special and no real maple syrup. The bacon was good. My husband had the corned beef hash, it looked like the kind that came out of a can!! Have you ever stopped by your moms house and out of the blue she whips a to die for breakfast. Well that's what it's like stopping by the Koffee Kup , it's like going home. Great people and super service on top of well cooked food what more can you ask for. O' yea the prices are at prepandemic levels too.... Can't beat that. The only thing more they could do is put rocking chairs out front. LOL read more

Apologies for the lack of pictures, but... My wife, daughter, and I went to Koffee Kup ("KK") for the first time a couple days ago. We've been to Rye Toast a number of times (just down the road), and saw KK. Overall, meh. Very meh. PRICE: $41.54 before adding a 20% tip for 3 adults. Nothing fancy at all. I had their ham & cheese omelet and hash browns. My wife had a couple eggs, corn beef hash, and a single pancake (to try their pancakes out). Our daughter had a bacon & cheese omelet with added tomatoes. Each of us had coffee. With tip, this ended up costing almost $50...for BREAKFAST....for 3 people. ...GULP... QUALITY: The omelets were good. Rather than using diced tomatoes, they used baby grape tomatoes cut in half. For the "cheese", they use slices of American "cheese" substance rather than something decent like cheddar. My hash browns were crispy in places, but overall, were a soggy blob of potato-stuff. My wife's hash was soggy & not crispy at all (?dumped out of a can?). As a free "bonus", my daughter DID get a free hair (eyebrow or eyelash, I think) under one of her half slices of American cheese on her omelet. They didn't even charge us anything extra for the bonus keratin. Maybe this is a new requirement under ServSafe (their certification is hanging on the wall), but I don't think so. My wife said that the pancake was nothing remarkable......not very tender. KK doesn't serve hot pancake syrup. You get a squeeze bottle of room temperature syrup on your table. Not impressive at all. ENVIRONMENT: Very clean, but CRAMPED. The seats bolted to the floor along the counter looked OK, but we sat at one of their booths. KK apparently took lessons from the airline industry. "How many seats can we wedge into this small area?" I'm 6' 2" tall, and my wife is about 5' 3". We were unable to sit across from each other in the booth without our knees hitting. Even our daughter (petite, 5' 1" tall) said the booth was cramped. This fact alone made it difficult for me to enjoy our breakfast at KK. Next time, I think we're going back to Rye Toast. read more

One of my favorite places for lunch and breakfast. If you like an old time diner similar to the famous Norman Rockwell pic you will fall in love with the Koffee Kup! 4/5 would recommend this dive. This family establishment is a cook to order breakfast joint. Limited hours mean you gotta get it while it's hot! But when they serve breakfast food this good, you can have whatever hours you want. Best part is coming in and being welcomed like family whether a fresh face or a regular. It is a true family establishment as the daughters serve and the moms cook up the goods. You're not gonna get a French press fancy coffee here, you're gonna get Folgers that's thick enough to make your spoon stand up, but you don't go to a place like this for a thing like that. We were biking through the area and wanted to stop for coffee. Since it was a Monday lots of options were closed. We gave the Koffee Kup a try after a local guy recommended it. Ended up being a great choice. Coffee was excellent and we took egg and bacon sandwiches to go for a great picnic breakfast. Not far off the Miami Valley Trail; extra clean and carefully observing social distancing with fresh paper menus. read more

Can't believe I've never heard about this place. A real gem in our city. A diner that opened in 1971, now run by 2nd generation. All the ladies behind the counter wore scrubs and they served up some biscuits and gravy that were mighty tasty, bacon that was crisp and kept a good eye on keeping my soda full! There is nothing fancy about this place and it looks like nothing has changed since the 70's, but they serve a mean breakfast for a fair price! I'll be back! read more

Pretty good! This place is an old mom and pop place with friendly folks - both employees and customers. Came here twice within 10 days. Both times were good. Omelette was well prepared.
