    Gourmet burgers....
    Mike L.

A large menu of mediocre food. Waited for my third visit before I gave a review. The positive, service, ice cream shakes, and some of breakfast. The gourmet burgers are frozen and dry. Fries been under heat lamp and not fresh. Sandwiches just as not exciting

The coal of a "prime rib" these scam artists tried to pass off

Worst possible food!!! And severed this on a special day like Valentine's Day. Absolutely sickening. My "prime rib" was BLACK and HARD AS A ROCK!!! Please avoid this places as much as possible!!!!

Overcooked food if you're into that. No taste. Good service covers up the fact that the food as awful.

Great locally owned diner. Comfort foods galore! Wonderful staff. Not many seats, so you may need to wait for just a bit.

I was skeptical to choose a "grill" for breakfast, but after seeing some pictures of food and good reviews I decided to give Brookville Grill a try.

I had potato skins with bacon , cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It's served with a sour cream pac. It's pretty good and it didn't last long. Next I had the turkey Reuben. On a nice dark rye, turkey lunchmeat, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. Pro: It was served hot and it tasted pretty good but... Con: The rye bread was too thin and turkey lunchmeat probably isn't the best choice. It's a worthy place. People are very friendly and talkative. It's a great place to relax and kick back. And I'd like to try other things on the menu. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

They had a burger that said it was made with bacon cheese and jalapeno bits. My husband has to try that. It appeared to be a premade patty but all the stuff grilled on top but he said it was really good. We got the skippers fries. They were good but omg it was too much cheese. And I LOVE cheese. The garlic wings interested me because it said the sauce was house made with a brown sugar base. Then I wanted to try the medium so we got both. They were both really good. The breading is pretty heavy and they are swimming in sauce. The house made Mac n cheese was really good too.

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

At the western edge of Ohio is the town of Greenville, home to the Green Wave, an awesome consignment store, and one of the most delightful restaurants I've ever been to - Jack's Cabin. Co-owned by Jeremy (J) and Carisa (C), and staffed by their son Austin (A) and Kaylie (K), this is the quintessential family restaurant. I enjoyed their corned beef and eggs, amazing fried flounder and cod - and before heading out from my two day respite in Greenville - their Philly Cheesesteak Skillet. Every dish was a hit, hot, and the perfect comfort foods were one to camp indoors. And like a true family restaurant, I felt fair prices all around, such that I kept coming back and tipping in turn instead! Alongside the black bears that peek all around the room, each table also has a personalized figurine featuring camping awesomeness like fishing, wildlife, and just a general vibe of nature. And hey, with $3.50 Yeunglings, I may have found Baltimore's Ohio sister city. Thank you Jack's Cabin for the amazing, entertaining experience. And Congratulations on your engagement, Kaylie!!!

They were in the fryer so long they were practically charred. The cole slaw seemed almost puréed. My wife ordered grilled chicken tenders. They came out fried and overly cooked. She thought at first bite that they were fish because of the taste. I ordered fish, so it is obvious that everything was fried in the same basket. And the grease/oil has needed to be changed for quite a while. My fish tasted bland and mostly if burnt oil. The fries were over saturated and tasted just like the bland fish. My mother ordered a tenderloin sandwich that also looked burnt to a crisp. Lesson learned here: order NOTHING that goes into a fryer. And apparently order nothing grilled, because it will get fried, too. The wait staff was brand new and was having some trouble figuring out our order. There didn't seem to be any shadowing or training happening. It took a long time for our main dishes to arrive. We did like the unique decor and overall appearance of the restaurant, but that's about the only thing I can give them credit for.
