I used Dr. Koh and his team for adult orthodonics/Invisiline, and they were FANTASTIC! Due to compacted teeth, I have been told that ortho wasn't an option since I was a kid. My dentist referred me to Dr. Koh due to severe tooth issues (overlapping/literally breaking each other.) Dr. Koh took his time to explain my options and what he thought was possible/realistic given my compacted teeth. Based on various criteria, I went with the Invisiline tray system. This meant visiting every 10-ish weeks to get checked and to pick up the next round of trays. From check-in through to exam, Dr. Koh's office staff were professional, friendly, and super-easy to work with! I also appreciated that they were fast and efficient. Every appt started on time or early, and ended within the estimated time. The staff did a great job of explaining the Invisiline process and what to expect. Dr. Koh also reviewed all information with me at each visit, ensuring no detail was missed. With proper guidance, I was able to finish a couple months earlier than expected - and with a magnificent smile! For the first time in 56 years, I am willing to show my teeth for the camera. I've been under Dr. Koh's team care now for about a year. I'm surely one of his oldest patients, in my 50s. My first visit was exploratory: I knew little about orthodontics, expected to spend a lot of money, and to be given a hard sell for Invisalign. Dr. Koh spent much more time with me and my son (also evaluating braces) than I'd expected, listened very well, showed care and humanity, and didn't try to sell me on Invisalign. Over the past year there have been some bumps along the way, and I've always found that he (and his staff) seek feedback, listen well, integrate feedback, and continue to check with patients. So, it's a pandemic, it's storming and I am here for my appointment that started at 2pm. It is 2:18pm. I'm 6 months pregnant and barely made it here trying my best navigating in the rain as I have a big belly at this time. They turned me away. I am not going to reschedule and will find a provider that is more understanding and caring. Be a human, be kind, and don't turn people away that need your assistance especially during these hard times. The appointment is for an hour, so what if 20 minutes has passed? I have 40 minutes minutes left in my appointment. I am very disappointed and actually it's very disheartening for needing medical attention and turned away especially during these hard times. I'm not from Seattle. I just moved here from California. I don't need a boiler template response from this business. I don't need it so please don't even bother. I'm sure others have been late before and I doubt that those people were turned away. read more

I recently had an appointment at Dr. Koh's office. It was easy to make the date and was a pleasant experience. From the reception to the exam it went smooth. Went there for a consultation for a second opinion. Though Dr. Koh was very experienced and knowledgeable, the rest of the practice was subpar. I went in pretty early, around 8am. The room was filled with kids and they were super loud. I almost thought it was a pediatric orthodontic clinic and that I went to the wrong place. I work in healthcare and their patient-provider ratio seemed really off to me. They took my before pictures without asking for permission. No separate room for imaging and stuff. However, the staff who did the scan was rly friendly. And the worst part, the treatment coordinator, Joann, was impatient and was pushing really hard on getting me to sign the contract and pay for the treatment. She also assumed I was super broke just because I was young. And her attitude change drastically when I said I'm not paying and starting the treatment today. So think twice before you start your treatment here. read more

Dr Koh exceeded our expectations for the treatment plan, professionalism & overall experience. they made it easy for my 9yo daughter understand what was going on throughout the treatment, how to take care of her braces/expander and retainer... my daughter did lose the retainer right after getting it but Dr Koh ordered one and we got it really quickly, and of course the lost retainer showed up right after. they really care about you and your treatment plan. This is a long overdue post. I thought I posted one but I guess I hadn't! I was fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Koh around 2015-2018. He sees primarily adolescents but GREAT place for adults (as I am one). It was a long treatment process but outcome of the results was what I expected. Before starting treatment, I was well informed and he really took the time to answer all my questions before starting. He laid out the different ways to approach the treatment and partnered to help me make my informed decision. The cost for treatment was transparent and nothing hidden. During this process, I also became pregnant during the treatment and I finished my care with a baby who I occasionally brought to the clinic. One of the front staff members helped to watch her while I received my care. He is very patient and caring (as well as his staff!). I highly recommend Dr. Koh and his great staff. read more

So far so good! I started seeing Dr. Koh for my Invisalign treatment and it's been such a great experience. He is super kind and personable, he takes the time to educate me on the process and has been extremely patient with me when I kept making various requests. During my visit, Dr. Koh did the examination of my teeth and gave me different options I can choose from. There was definitely no pressure. His office worked with my parents to give me a beautiful straight smile while putting up with my stubborness. (I needed two teeth removed for crowding issues, but only let them pull one.) After delving into the psychology of my teeth, and putting the fear toothless-ness into me, we developed the perfect solution to fit my needs. We love Dr Koh and his staff! What I first liked about Dr Koh was that he spoke to my daughter about her treatment plan rather than addressing me while she was in the room. Dr. Koh is the best. He has seen all three of my kids at different times. Not only is he great at fixing teeth, but he conducts his business with the highest integrity. Patients and families definitely come first in Dr. Koh's office. I was wary of sending our oldest to the orthodontist because I assumed every orthodontist would recommend braces whether necessary or not because they are big money-makers. Dr. Koh got himself a customer for life when he shocked me by saying our oldest did not need braces and if she got them they would only fix cosmetic appearances. That honestly saved our family a lot of money. Since then, he has put braces on my other two girls and has done a fantastic job. He (and everyone in his office) also does a great job of inspiring the kids to be involved and responsible for taking care of their braces, wearing their rubber bands, etc. read more

Dr. Koh is absolutely wonderful. I started going there as a child, probably around nine or ten years old. I have had every procedure done with him that you can imagine over the course of 10+ years. (Braces, retainers, spacers, invisalign etc). He is the kindest person you could ever want to have as an orthodontist. He was nice, friendly and very informative during the years that I used his practice. His staff has always been great as well. I have not been to his office or needed any of his services for about 4 years or so, but I have a son now, so, I definitely plan on having Dr. Koh be my son's orthodontist if need be.
