Possibly the worst experience I've ever had on this island. I got to Frank through the original…read morebuilder of the house. Frank did a few small repairs, which he did professionally, albeit at highly inflated prices. I needed the work done and I trusted my builder to give me someone reliable. When I had to repair the tar/gravel roof over my lanai, I put it out for 3 bids and Frank was the highest by quit a bit. However, my father was dying on the east coast and I wanted someone I thought I could trust while I was away. HUGE MISTAKE! When I got back, he said the job was done (and bad on me), I trusted him. As it turns out, he just sprayed some epoxy over the crushed rock, never removed it, charged me for additional material as well. When I finally went on the roof, I realized there was no silicone sealant that was ever put down and the material magically disappeared (15 gallons worth about $1,400). Of course the manufacturer wouldn't honor the warranty when the product was never used. I wound up hiring someone to remove the old gravel, power wash the roof. I sealed the 1,000sq.ft. roof myself with epoxy and put down the sealant myself. It took an additional $10,000 and easily 80 hours of my time to get the job done properly. This guy is a total scam artist who will go on and on about what a devout man of the church he is. I'm not into that stuff but believe in always being fair, honest and ethical. This guy is none of these, and I still have a pending lawsuit that I will pursue eventually. If there is a special place in hell for unethical contractors, this guy would go there as a supervisor. 10,000% HORRIBLE!!!!!

Had to call numerous times, finally Clyde (worker) comes and said needed to order 20 roofing panels with flashings. Contract sent on Sept 1, 2015 where I had to put half down before they order roofing. Sent check for $650.00-total job was $1208.00. Waited 4 -6 months with no Torres communication on when job to start. Kept callling Frank (who by this time forgot he cashed my $650.00 check) and told him he has to come fix my leaky roof. After literally begging Frank to come and check roof, he himself, came and couldn't find problem. After continuously calling Frank, he finally sends Clyde again to find leak. I put the sprinkler on roof and Clyde couldn't find leak. I told him to check between the roofing seams above the leak in the house. He finds the leak in between the seam. Goes in his truck gets a half used cartridge of black tar and seals seam. No leak to this day! So I'm thinking I'm going to get a refund from my $650.00 because half a cartridge doesn't cost anywhere near $650.00! After 2 months Frank calls me and says I never paid him for fixing leak. I replied you never gave me a bill yet. I was waiting for it so I could subtract my $650.00. When I told him (which was a mistake on my part) I think you owe me instead of I owe you because you cashed my $650.00 check (a transaction he totally forgot about), he says he'll check and get back to me. Two months go by -no call-I keep calling asking if he checked yet and his reply was always no not yet. By this time, I've had it with this Bozo! I call Action Line and right away he calls me and says "I have no heart" to turn him in to Action Line! What kind of monkey business is this roofing company! If you can't run a business properly "GET OUT"! Begining of Dec 2016, he says he's charging me $500.00 for sealing the seam with a half cartridge of black tar! That's right! $500.00!! He said he'll send me a check for $150.00. It's January 2017-NO DAMN CHECK!! Do not do business with this company! The owner is very difficult to deal with and is definitely not a businessman and surely doesn't know how to run a business - not even a lunch truck business!!

Standing seam aluminum roof with large new skylights installed, including flashing around chimney and dormer. New gutters included. All work completed with precision. All workers were professional in every way. Finished product is stellar. Cost was reasonable. TDS Roofing has my highest recommendation.

From the time of initial contact until today, I had a roof leak that penetrated my ceiling that evolved (with recent heavy rains) to two (2) ceiling roof leaks. Nearly every week and a half, I made contact with TDS in an attempt to assess/price the work. I was met each time with casual apologies and weak excuses of why I did not receive a callback, or why staff never showed up to assess the work to be done. I work for an affordable housing development company (likely the most reputable on this island) and have rarely come across such horrible service/bedside manner - service that I would absolutely not tolerate from any contractor conducting work for one of my company's projects. I have decided to move on as, only TODAY, TDS informed me that it would not even be able to conduct the work for another four (4) months. To not have the foresight of understanding a customer's immediate need (even after it had been clearly explained at the onset) is poor business manner and a major disappointment to say the least.

If you're needing a new roof, I feel your pain. That's a very expensive project and it's hard to…read moreenjoy while you're sitting in your living room. Everything in my home was builder grade, including the roof. In 25 years, large areas of these low grade shingles had granules that had washed away and the shingles were getting brittle. The boots around plumbing vent pipes had rubber seals that had rotted away, letting water get by. After asking friends and neighbors for recommendations for a good roofer, we got 3 bids for a replacement roof, and they were all nearly identical, if you only look at the price. I was impressed when Bryndon, of Advanced Roofing Solutions came out, he didn't climb up on the 2nd story roof. He sent his drone up for closeup videos. He told me that my roof could last a few more years but we agreed that it was smart to be proactive now. Bryndon answered all of our questions and didn't try to pressure us at all. When I received and compared the 3 bids, the Advanced Roofing Solutions offer looked much more impressive. It included the high quality of materials I expected and then some. We were in business. The crew was ready to start on our roof in a couple of weeks. The workers were all friendly, on time, hard working and very courteous. They cleaned up the area completely every day, too. They used a rubbery underlayment that has an adhesive backing so it sticks to the plywood roof. This is normally done to the lowest 3' of roof (if at all), but they covered the whole roof with this premium product. They used lead boots on the vent pipes, giving a good, longer lasting seal than rubber provides. They added aluminum drip edge flashing all the way around, to protect the fascia board. Why didn't the builder think of that? They used shorter nails on the lowest part of the roof, so nails wouldn't be sticking out under our open soffit. And finally, Advanced Roofing Solutions included a 50 year, 5 star warranty from CertainTeed that is transferable. I've shared my experience with neighbors who are also dealing with Advanced Roofing Solutions.
