Awesome new location, same delicious coffees and teas. Beautiful space and wonderful service as always. Kohi Time is a must stop if you're visiting the downtown / campus neighborhood.

Unique and interesting coffee! I am particularly intrigued by the Arthurian legends name. And Link...reference to Zelda? The Godzilla references were also super cool. And don't worry, they have your normal coffee options of Americano, lattes, mochas. The Lancelot Link was very tasty. Definitely a sweet banana flavor. Service was great. One person running the booth. She would take an order, make the order, and then take payment. Repeat. No tipping.

I've been meaning to try this place and I'm so glad I finally did! The drink selection is great--so many interesting flavor combos. I settled on the "Tastes Like Spring" which was a cold matcha latte with strawberry compote and freeze distilled milk on top. (I got my drink made with oat milk but still opted for the freeze distilled milk toping.) As someone who can't tolerate much dairy, I'm grateful they offer almond and oat milk options. I also like that the business is so sustainable : all their ingredients are organic, their cups and straws are compostable, the equipment is powered electric and solar power, and the truck itself runs on biodiesel. My drink was so tasty! I sipped on it while walking around the neighborhood. Can't wait to try another one.

After reading Yelp Eugene's review of Kohi time on Instagram I knew I would need to try it for myself. It was a sunny Sunday and we just happened to be in the area and decided to get some coffee. We ended up getting the two specialty drinks; they sounded so unusual that we had to taste them. The gal who runs the truck was super friendly and chatted with us, patiently answering my many questions (like what the heck is freeze distilled milk??). The Ko-J was unusual and intriguing, it was very tasty but the floral taste was a bit much by the end. Maybe I didn't stir it up enough at the start so that syrup was stronger at the finish? But the Kohi Cola was both of our favorite drink. The coffee and the cola syrup are such a good complement to each other, not overly sweet, and I really liked the carbonation. This will definitely be at the top of my list when I want a special coffee.

Ok, normally I wait and think on my review but this decision was immediate. This place blows Dutch Bros and Starbucks beverages out of the water. The drinks are well thought out and the flavors meld together brilliantly! I'm so thankful for a drink with quality flavor that doesn't leave me feeling ill from sweetness overload. Even my teen was like ... whoa, this vanilla latte is good. I got the hot and spicy lumberjack made with oat milk and I enjoyed every unusually delicious sip. My friend got the tonic, which I might try next time because I'm a huge fan of rosemary. My husband got the Koh-J and didn't stop talking about it after every sip he took! Haha! Service was friendly. The drinks were flavorful and not sticky sweet. I can't wait to sample the other concoctions Ko-hi has to offer! Highly recommend!! *Worth noting before you visit - cash free. Please plan on using a card.

This is a brand spanking new business currently serving the Whiteaker area. I LOVE trying unique flavors and flavor pairings. So when I saw that their specialty was coffee + orange juice, I I knew I had to get my hands on that ASAP. I ordered the ko-J off of the signature drinks portion of the menu. Here is the ingredient list: Cold brew, oj, homemade vanilla and orange blossom syrup, topped with freeze-distilled whipped milk. You may be wondering if all of this works together, and I am happy to report that I think they do. The flavor reminded me of those super popular chocolate oranges. I highly recommend checking this place out and giving this new Eugene business some love.

If you are a lover of coffee beverages, Kohi Time is a must have! Just tried the Kohi Tonic and it is so smooth and refreshing. There are so many delicious offerings.

The owner is super nice and the beverages are delicious. Both my Hojicha (matcha) Latte and my husband's Lumberjack Latte were flavorful without being overly sweet which I loved. Bonus that it's a solar powered van! Note: it's a cash-free business

One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.

My breakfast from the Hay Y'all food truck in Eugene arrived with promise, and in many ways, it delivered. The flavors were thoughtful, deliberate, and undeniably well executed. The pecan-crusted chicken was juicy, its crust confident and well seasoned. The French toast was rich without excess. The biscuits were fluffy and deeply comforting, and the gravy--pepper-forward yet restrained--was balanced precisely to my taste. This is food made by someone who understands flavor. And yet, cuisine is not merely flavor. It is temperature, proportion, and expectation meeting reality. Despite picking up my order immediately and driving no more than two minutes home, nearly everything arrived lukewarm--hovering uncomfortably between hot and forgotten. This was the single greatest disappointment, as warmth would have elevated every component substantially. Food like this begs to be eaten hot, not merely remembered as such. Portion size, particularly for the pecan-crusted chicken and French toast, also fell short of what had been promised--if not verbally, then visually. Online images suggest generosity: three, sometimes four pieces of chicken. My plate held two, both smaller than expected. The price remains reasonable, but I would gladly pay slightly more to receive portions that align with those expectations. The accompanying fruit, while a pleasant gesture, felt miscast. Tart strawberries and under-ripe pineapple did little to complement the dish. In January, this is forgivable--but perhaps a preserve or jam would serve the plate better, offering harmony rather than contrast. And yet, I find myself conflicted. Because despite these shortcomings, the food is good. More than good. It is thoughtful, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. With accurate portioning and food served properly hot, this meal would easily earn four, perhaps even five stars. I know this. For that reason, while my immediate, emotional reaction rests closer to a three or three-and-a-half out of five, I am rating this experience a four out of five stars. The quality of the cooking warrants generosity, even when execution falters. I was there very early, right at opening, and I recognize that busy mornings can challenge even capable kitchens. I will return. Not out of optimism, but out of confidence--because when food is this well conceived, it deserves another chance to be served as intended.

This…read moreis a noodle dish I ordered like a year ago, but I still remember it being good because it had the wide fresh noodles, plenty of flavor, and a lot of basil in there. I notice that their menu is huge, with a ton of specials. Great for those who want variety every time they come. 5 stars for friendliness and fast service. The guy who works there is as nice as can be. 1 star for salad rolls. It says "fresh vegetables" but the roll had one miniscule piece of tofu (1/2 inch wide?) and the rest is pure lettuce. I think there were a couple mint leaves in there. No carrots, cuke, cilantro, or any other kind of vegetable you can imagine, and barely any tofu. Peanut sauce was delicious and worth adding to the order, as the chili sauce it comes with is ok but syrupy sweet. Adding in the peanut sauce for $2, that came to $10 for lettuce. Inflation is hitting us all hard... restaurants included. But tofu and carrots are not that expensive, right? And if they ran out of ingredients, they should just say so. Yelping about petty things is not a nice thing to do. This review reflects my frustration about a broader pattern that goes beyond this one restaurant (which is why I don't include this in the star rating). Eugene restaurants often do not try to keep up basic standards because there's insufficient competition, and they get away with things that wouldn't fly in a big city. I wish more restaurants, including food trucks, took pride in what they put on the plate.

Consistently great food, quick service, nice people. Tried several things. Highly recommend.read more
