Have been to this Kohl's many times before. Being that I didn't want to go to the mall nor shop on-line I decided to come here for the sole purpose of buying button down shirts and lounge/pj pants. I was so disappointed that the selection was so poor....large sections of the sales floor was dedicated to sales racks of items up to 80% off. At that discount you are pretty much giving away the stuff--when I went to peruse the clearance rack it was obvious why these items were so marked down. When I was here about a month prior there were great storewide sale prices. Not today. Bummer! Another thing I noticed was in the home section...item upon item on display had a note saying the item was "out of stock" but available on-line. Why display an item you can't purchase? My visit today pretty much sums up why I don't come here more often....poor selection and no sales incentive to make me want to shop here. read more

I haven't been to a Kohls to shop since they closed the store that was close to me at Rosemead Blvd & Huntington Drive. I have been there a couple of times recently to make Amazon returns and what a great service it is! Simple and easy. You just walk in the door with your unwrapped item and the print out Amazon provides and 5 minutes later you are on your way. By the time you get home most times your account has already been credited! I wish returning an item was this easy every where! read more

Horrible customer service and don't expect your online orders to be ready within the time frame they give you. I placed an order online about a month ago and I was sent an email that it shipped to this location. It's been about a month and I have not yet gotten an email that my order was ready for pick up. I've called the store several times and they just tell me that it's in store but not ready. It's only 3 items. It should not take a month. Each time I call it takes about 10 minutes to get a hold of someone and then I'm placed on hold for another 20. What's going on Khols? Result: I finally got a hold of a night manager and she promised that my order would be bagged up and ready for me to pick up by next day 11am, and that I should have 0 problems. I'm at khols it's 4pm and there's an issue with my order. Apparently it hasn't been processed and the afternoon manager "" has given me attitude about getting it ready for me. So now I'm waiting on a bench is expecting me to wait 10 minutes? Management and staff need customer service training. read more

Kohls always has some great deals. It's even easier to shop online and pick up at the store now. Also a great location for Amazon return drop offs. The Amazon drop off desk is at the back left of the first floor. For pickups you need to head up to the second floor service counter by the cards or park in the designated pick up spots and call in to have your order brought out. They allow dogs in this location but they cannot be placed in the carts so you'll need to carry them if you bring your furry friend. read more

If I had found a cute swimsuit selection here during the summertime, I'd probably give this location a higher rating. This is not to say that Kohl's is not a bad department store, because it's got lots of different things! To me, it reminds me of Ross...but better. If you are looking for something in particular, the chances of you finding it at Kohl's is very high. They've got some designer items like Vera Wang and Marc Anthony. They also sell popular brands like Nike here. I've also been able to find Havaiana's although they look a little different. Regardless of what you find, everything is marked down. It's almost certain that the price you see on the tags will always be more expensive than what you'll end up paying. Parking is quite abundant here. It's in somewhat of the same plaza as Starbucks, Subway, etc., but it's in a separate area, so there's never a problem with parking. Although Kohl's has a lot of clothing and accessories, it can't beat the quality that TJ Maxx or even Target (to me) has. I wouldn't mind shopping around here every now and then for some good deals. read more

I just started coming here and was offered to join the rewards program so I did. I spent enough money to earn $30 Kohls cash, the cashier told me to hold on to the paper and I could use it April 1. I came in on April 2 because they were closed on the 1st and was told the Kohls cash expired. I was mad because if I wouldn't of been told to wait I would have used the Kohls cash when I went in to buy a baby shower gift. Hi All, THE PEOPLE AT THIS STORE ARE RACISTS!!! I am a young African American man who walked into this store to find a couple shirts and a jacket and instantly regretted it. No one greeted me with a "hi" or "welcome" but I was immediately categorized and considered unworthy of words. Instead of offering a gentle greeting to one of their guest, I was starred at with nasty faces. I stood around to see how they greeted the other ethnicities and it was with a warm "welcome" and "how were your holidays". After witnessing this I still continued to shop. I needed help finding something so I asked one of the KHOLS associates nearby and instead of a "sure I can help you", there were many deep breathes taken and a really uninviting feeling given off. After I could take no more I put my items down and made my way to the exit, being starred down to make sure I didn't "leaving with anything". I still smiled and said "have a good day", all to be ignored and looked past/through just for them to speak to someone who wasn't BLACK. read more

In my lifetime, I've only been to Kohl's a couple of times, but after finding an item at Nordstrom Rack a few days ago, I found the same item at Kohl's for the same price (online), BUT Kohl's was giving $15 in Kohl's cash for every $50 spent. Thus, Kohl's became less expensive than Nordstrom Rack. The item at Nordstrom Rack was $17.97 each. At Kohl's, it was Buy One, Get One 50% off, so for two it was $36.00. When you factor in the Kohl's cash, it was less expensive. This location of Kohl's is very large and has two stories. The staff is helpful and friendly, but some times you can't find anyone to ask a question since the store is so big. I will now keep an eye out for Kohl's sales. Xie Xie! read more

Parking: private lot Tip: sign up for their emailing list to get 5 dollars coupon sent to you. It takes about a month for it to come in. This Kohl's is awesome. The manage is really chill. If you forget your discount coupon, just tell him and he will apply it to your transaction. The line can get ridiculously long some time but they try there best to open more registers. The stuff there are pretty organized as compared to Sears or Kmart. There is a reason why Kohl's is taking over department stores. I went to kohl's for the first time in my entire life today and I was pretty disappointed. It's overpriced for very low quality brands. Think of Mervyns quality with macy's prices. It just doesn't make any sense. The store is pretty clean though, which is impressive considering how big it is. The one thing I was satisfied with at this place was their active wear section. I scored some really nice Nike workout pants that normally cost $50 for $27. They have a pretty good selection in this dept that are very resonantly priced. Aside from the workout clothes, I probably wouldn't shop here otherwise. There was also a long line when it was time to pay which was annoying because there were only 2 cashiers open. It's a hot summer day so I called in advance to ask if I can bring my little dog inside as well. The lady on the phone told me I was allowed to bring my dog. When my boyfriend and our dog walked inside, we were told by an associate rudely that we had to carry her if she's to be inside. Now, 15 minutes passed by and I saw another dog walk in but they were fine to walk on the floor. No one said anything to the other dog, and it wasn't those service dogs either. The store can be a little messy after 4pm and the dressing rooms were not cleaned out. Each of the rooms had a bunch of clothes everywhere including the floor. read more

My mom and I went into this Kohl's to buy some new luggage for her, and we were helped a whole lot by Sales Rep Rosa and her Supervisor Stephanie today. We got a discount on her luggage purchase and another discount on top of the one we got for signing up for a Kohl's card, by buying a luggage tag so that our balance qualified for a 2nd discount on the balance per Stephanie's suggestion. They even walked us over to find the luggage tag, and didn't rush us at all at the cash register, even though there were other customers waiting in line. Of course, they just opened more cash registers to accommodate the line of customers. Unfortunately, we wanted to give them a nice review on the Kohl's feedback website, except I couldn't find the receipt code on the receipt. So, I hope this review gets back to Rosa & Stephanie. I don't typically shop at Kohl's but decided to come check this place since they open later than the mall. The store was very organized and there were tons of sales everywhere. They had name brand. And also carry a wide selection of everything you can think of. They do a pretty good job at cleaning and folding all the clothes so it doesn't seem like a mess. I like their selection also better than the department stores. They prices are also cheaper while maintaining their quality. They had a wide parking lot and it better to come on a weekday to avoid the crowd and the line. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Needed to drop off an amazon return package. Kohl's was close by to where my wife and I had lunch. We pulled into the parking lot and noticed a sign for amazon drop off customer! Easy parking without having to make our rounds around the lot to drop off a package. Upon entering Kohl's, the amazon drop off station was to our left. we were greeted by one of the worker. Came here to return my amazon packages which customer service was very friendly and nice and also fast. Even got a coupon to use at kohls after returning the items. The coupon got to me so I decided to shop around and I remember seeing a hair brush I wanted that was on sale. Found a store associate and asked her where I might find the item. She directed us and there it was the item I wanted! I was happy since sometimes stores say they have things in stock and when you get there you've been bamboozled and wasted your time. So I took the hairbrush and went to the register to pay. This is where my experience went bad. There was literally one register open and one person in front of us who was already checking out at the register. So we stood behind her. The lady at the register were talking while scanning items and such and that's fine. But they kept on talking even after and even slowed down the process of checking out it was ridiculous and rude. The lady working the register clearly knew we were waiting in line but just kept socializing and even asked me to back up and said the line started like 5 feet from where I was standing. Checkout should take what maybe 5 mins max if you have a good amount of items? Waiting in line and checkout took like maybe 15 mins or more and I really wish I was exaggerating. I almost didn't want to buy my item like is waiting in line that long worth for my one item. I used to work at a register at a previous job and I just thought the whole thing was unprofessional and rude. Won't be coming back unless it's to return amazon packages. read more

Over the past several years since Kohl's opened stores on Rosemead Blvd in San Gabriel and on Fremont Blvd in Alhambra, I have shopped numerous times for clothing, accessories and household items. I love their brands, discounts, cash back coupons, easy return policy and hassle free parking. I can avoid going to the mall altogether for these essentials, but the biggest reason I love shopping here is their customer service. Yeah some of the cashiers and salespeople can be overwhelmed by long lines of shoppers during holidays, but the managers and supervisors do step in to keep things orderly and calm. My purchase today at their Alhambra store of a new watch prompted this review, and underscored my comment about the salespeople and managers working there. My watch needed a wristband adjustment which the salesgirl said could not be done as they were without proper tools and suggested I go to another Kohl's where they can make the adjustment without charge. I thought to myself why should I be running around to have this done, so I asked the salesgirl to call San Gabriel and find out if they can do this before I make the added trip. I also thought to myself this salesgirl was a holiday temp and might not have had the skill to do such surgery on my new watch, hence her suggestion. Funny and sad, the other store never picked up her interstore call, so I suggested she call that store manager instead. She then wisely called her own store manager for an okay and help. The manager, Omar gave her the okay and would make the call himself is she was unable to get through. I then mused aloud if they should be selling watches in the first place if they are unable to make this basic wristband adjustment. Well, that got someones attention. The salesgirl's call to the San Gabriel store went unanswered and Omar the manager came over to save the day. I was treated with courtesy as he deftly made the tedious adjustments to the wristband checking a few times until I had the right fit. No problem and how it needed to be handled from the beginning. Kudos to Omar, who obviously realized the lunacy of sending a customer to another store to complete this sale. Hopefully lessons were learned by everyone involved. read more

I came here to pick up some bed sheets. I always thought Kohl's provided named brands at discounted prices, but really this place doesn't provide THAT BIG OF A DEAL! It's really like Macy's, below Nordstrom's and above JCP. This Kohl's is fairly large! I walked around the whole thing before finding the escalators lol. The signs are so horrible to figure out. I like this place for kids clothes, house and kitchen wares. The sales are unbeatable. And if you walk in with a coupon you are going to save big time! the store is always clean and items are easy to find. A big Plus, it's the only place I found that has super affordable boys dress jacket and pants. I was able to find my son's first communion clothes on sale! Came here to buy comfortable nursing shoes. The guy in the shoe department was very helpful and kind. Bought the shoes and the cashier was kind enough to add on a discount for some sale they had going on that i wasnt aware of. Unfortunately I was too impatient to try the shoes on in store so when I got home I realized they were a little too small. I went back the next day (customer service is upstairs) to exchange for a size up. She was also very sweet took a total of 2 minutes to do the exchange. Long time customer. You have to realize what they do .it was on news. They mark up price if item 3x price then offers discounts and incentives. After you buy you paid what other stores sell for. Store overall is well maintained. I usually order my things online and have it shipped but yesterday I ordered 3 items for pick up. Only 2 were ready and the one thing I needed was not available. I actually selected items on their app that were available in store and ready for pick up but i honestly don't know what happened to the one basic shirt I ordered. Please fix that issue if you can. The online process at the store was actually not that bad I have to say, this young lady saw me standing (sorry I didn't ask for her name) there while someone at the register was helping someone and the second cashier was standing there smiling after she had finished a call she was handling, she didn't offer to help me but saw me and 2 other customers waiting in line but she just stood there looking at us lol Dios mío!!! For some reason I thought Kohl's was a hardware store. Nope! It's basically another Mervyn's/JC Penny type store. They have a decent selection of clothes and home goods at reasonable prices. Like, I got some Tom Brady brand sweat pants. I wonder if when I'm wearing his sweat pants while sitting on the couch and eating potato chips I'll turn into an NFL quarterback. Probably not. That must be why they were 50 percent off. Also, apparently you can drop off Amazon returns at Kohl's. Super convenient, right? You just show up with the crap you don't want anymore, and Kohl's will pack it up and ship it back to the Amazon hive for redistribution. I've only shopped here twice and I swear to god its as if they don't want your business. I placed two online orders that I have shipped to the store and just picking my items up easily proved to be way too much work for the associates there. They were really busy talking and laughing among themselves and didn't want to be bothered. Even when I went and got a manager involved it seem like a big joke. No thanks, never again!
