This evening I experienced another issue with this store. They told me my mother & I will not be allowed on the premises or they will have us arrested for trespassing. They claimed they could not do my return because it was flagged in the system yet I drove up the road to the Kohl's in Reno and once again did my return no issues. To the two assistant managers who I will respectfully not list their names just know I have had enough of your games and I will be perusing this. I'm already in contact with the district manager and corporate. You've picked the wrong customer to cause problems with and accuse of threatening an employee when I've not threatened anyone yet. Very rude customer service. I needed info on my online order that I placed a little over 2 weeks ago and it said it should be already there for pick up. But the status kept saying in In fulfillment and I just wanted to see if they had a better status; the lady at the counter cuts me off and was like no we don't we don't do anything online in store. If it says that it says that. And then I asked can I talk to a manager to see if they can and her tone while calling the manager was just so aggressive. Then the "manager" pops out and gave me a piece of paper with a number to call. I get that you don't do anything with online but you could just be a little more pleasant with customers. read more

Worst customer service. Went in to pay off account. Two clerks, both waiting on customers. When Denise finished with her customer, she turned her back on me and completely ignored me. When the other clerk finished with her customer, she called me forward. Another customer came up, and Denise helped them right away. I complained to clerk waiting on me and she apologized. Nothing from Denise. I asked to speak with the manager, who came right away. I told him what happened, but could tell he wasn't interested. This company promotes certain percentage off sales yet it only applies to certain items not everything in the store. Disappointing walking into an establishment expecting to use a 20% off coupon but only applied to one item out of the 12 items I bought. And the other items weren't already discounted. Don't understand why the 20% can't be applied. Not worth it. Customer service on site was great. Customer service via phone for the Kohl's credit card was absolutely ridiculous. They don't speak very good English and rude. Will be shutting down my card and shopping elsewhere. Get it together, Khols! read more

BIG NEWS HERE FOR ANYONE DOING AMAZON RETURNS! The Amazon return kiosk is no longer there in the back of the store! It was deleted I was told due to canceled funding from Amazon. Now you will have to take returns to the customer service counter in the front and wait in line with all the other people making actual Kohl's returns or any other kind of customer concerns ... so basically Amazon will no linger have it's own line and the wait will be longer ... hey but at least you don't have to walk all the way to the back of the store! read more

Some of the staff friendly and a few not so friendly. My big complaint is that I returned a pillow top on 6/13/2021, that I had originally bought on 5/28/2021 and did not get the full refund. They deducted $10.00 from my refund because I used my $10 Kohls cash which I guess was accrued from this purchase. If I had asked for the refund first, then made my purchase I guess they wouldn't have allowed me to use my Kohls cash?? I didn't realize there was contingencies and that my Kohls cash was held hostage (for lack of a better way to say this). Contingent on purchases and NO returns allowed. I've shopped at Kohls for years and I've gotten the Kohls cash and never use it. Always expires before I get a chance to. And now when I finally do and this happens. I'm going to look into it further with BBB because this practice doesn't sit right with me. Don't tease me with your Kohls cash when there are strings attached. You lost a customer. read more

What a mess. I went in to have an Amazon return. I was told to go to the back. Had to wait several minutes for someone to come and help me. Once she arrived, she was nice enough. She gave me a $5.00 coupon for anything in the store. I picked something and headed to the front. The girl told me the line starts over there and the person at customer service could check me out. She didn't know I was there. The girl at the register didn't even call on me after she completed her sale of another customer. So I laid the purchase down and walked out the door. No comment or concern why I was leaving by either staff member. Poor customer service. read more

Sure, I'll give Kohl's four stars. I never pay full price here - the majority of their non-stop, ever-ending, everlasting sales are for at least 25% off, and often times, if you feel like rooting for last season's bargains, you'll find racks selling clothes for up to 80% off. A few weeks ago, I found a very cool watch attached to a carabiner. Regularly $19.99, it was on sale for $9.99. Perfect. A few days later, I discovered even though the watch was brand-new, the battery must not be fresh since it was slow on time. A week later, I trooped down to the store and even without a receipt, they sent me off to shop while they found a replacement battery and installed it. No fuss, no muss, done with a smile and a "have a good day!" Now THAT'S customer service. read more

I love this store! 2 weeks ago, my son came down from Boise for a weekend visit, and it was all about me!(he made me do it!) There was having my hair done at Amees with Shelley on Saturday, steak and lobster Saturday night, rest up for shopping( my first time at Kohls) on Sunday. What a wonderful experience! I'm not much of a shopper, but you sure wouldnt have thought that had you seen our cart. It was filled with 250.00 worth of the best merchandise perfect for me!! On our way out Anthony handed me the coupon for 40.00 in Kohls cash. What a great time we had. He later gave me a diamond heart necklace he had purchased earlier for me, also from Kohls. I ordered $119 online one thing in my order was no longer available so they took it off and charged my debit card $114 so now they have taken off my debit card $233 for a $114 order ! That should not be legal ! What if it overdraws my account? How can they do this? How is this ok? I cannot get ahold of anyone online or on the phone ! Don't use your debit card for anything online ! Very poor customer service. Wore a mask as required and when I was standing 12' away from the registers waiting for the next one to open, I was rudely told to stand back another 10' so that customer service could also wait on me. The woman in customer service just looked away. There was nobody else in line!! I am a well-dressed, educated customer. Had to wait for the overhead to tell me which register was coming available, like anyone could not see that? Now we are in DMV, instead of a nice department store? Having to use this store for Amazon returns is a joke... walk all the way to the back of the store for no one to be there to wait on you? This is why people are ordering on line!!! Overall the store is a mess. It looks like an inner city Goodwill thrift store, dirty diaper and all in the fitting rooms. The young girl at customer service refused to go look for my order. Last Saturday, I went to pickup 2 online orders that my Kohls app said to pick it up by Sunday May 30. Young girl at service desk tells me they are not there. (doesnt even look!) I show her my phone and she says "Hmm, I dont know why it says that." I check the order status on Kohls app everyday this week and it still says "in fulfillment." So now its Friday and I get a text saying "order being cancelled because it wasnt picked up" REALLY?! I call the store within 2 minutes and talk to the same CLUELESS young girl and ask her what is going on with my order and she still says my order is not there?! AND now their system doesnt recognize my order numbers. So I ask "If my IN STORE pickup was just "cancelled" 2 minutes ago shouldn't it still be there? That question almost made her head EXPLODE, so she decided to get rude. I called corporate and could not communicate my situation because the agent doesn't understand English very well. As I write this today Kohls app now says the 2 orders are "complete" even though nobody knows where they are and I sure didnt pick them up. I haven't gotten my money back on either of them. We stopped here to do some shopping. This store is so unorganized! I was looking for some underwear. What a mess. There were four rows. The one at the top was small then the next medium then the next large and then xtra large. What a mess it was! Nothing was in order of what it said. I think they need someone in charge to oversee the stocking. It kind of reminded me of what Mervyn's was doing just before they went under. This is by far the worst Kohls I've been to! My fiancee and I stopped in here on our way home from Reno on Veterans Day 11/11/14 to take advantage of a coupon I had. Walking in I should have known what to expect because the line was more than half way to right side of the store. The floor was a mess and there wasn't an associate in sight. They must all be at the front of the store to help with the line, right? No. Once we found the two items we wanted to purchase we walked up the pay for them and the line was now wrapping around to the right of the store. I have never seen a line at Kohls so long. We stopped by the jewelry department and were told that she would be a while with her ONE customer. I told her we would be waiting a while regardless and she proceeded to tell me..."Well, I can't help you unless you plan on buying some jewelery." Really? That was the first I've heard of that. Since no one was willing to help us with our two items we left without them. The thing that makes me angry enough to even write this review is that the item I had wanted was on sale for $50 and is now $80. Don't waste your time here. If you live in Carson City and this is the only Kohls around, you're better off driving to Sacramento. read more

I placed an order for 5 items on Kohl's.com. I received an email that ALL items had shipped. I received 3 of the items but did not receive the remaining 2 and could not find an estimated delivery date on the tracking. I called and was told the shipper did not pick up these 2 items and now they are out-of-stock. My card would never have been credited if I didn't call and the customer support person blamed the shipping company? This makes no sense to me. How incompetent. Got an email saying that if I couldn't pick up something I ordered on line few days ago to call the 800 number to extend. Called the 800 number and they say I have to call the store instead . Called the store and this girl I believe her name is Summer, with a lot of attitude told me she didn't know how to extended and to buy my order again. Worst customer service!!!! They didn't want to do anything for me. I bought $300 worth of stuff and the price was wrong on the pans I was getting. When I told the lady that was helping me, first she didn't believe me, second while the guy was going to look to see if I was telling the truth I looked it up online and it was the price I was telling her, and she still did not believe me. If I bought them online I even would have got an extra 20% off. So I was going to do that and then just pick them up while I was at the store. The lady said "oh no we would have to do the whole process, it wouldn't be ready right away." What is so hard I had the pans right in front of me!!! She did not want to give me a good deal!!! I also wanted to price match another item but they wouldn't believe my picture on my phone that I took the day before. They said. "we don't know if that was taken in Colorado". I was so furious!!! I am very upset with this store, staff and the situation. My boyfriend bought me an engagement ring from this store using his charge card. He didn't know what size ring I wore so he got the stock size which is a size 7, and he was told that he can bring it back into the store and have it sent out for sizing. We went into the store on 1/4/2015 to have the ring sized and the first representative told me that it can be sized and measured my finger. While she was taking all the information down to send off for sizing another representative came up and was talking to her and said that Sterling Silver can not be sized, so what they can do is put the money on a gift card and use the kiosk and order it in the proper size, but since we bought the ring on sale and also used a 30% off coupon we would been to pay full price and deduct the amount we already paid for the ring. I was offended that they first would not honor the price but they also would not let me use that 30% off coupon again on the ring purchase. So now the ring went from being $98 to almost $400. They took us over to the kiosk and put the ring in, but it didn't give them an option for a size. The rep was overly confused and called over another rep, who called over another rep, who got the manager. The manager told her to call the customer service line to see why its not giving them a size option and see if they can order it via phone. We were on hold for almost an hour and once someone answered and told them that the ring only comes in one standard size. After all this time and frustration, I was let down again. They said that there was nothing that they could do about it. So the money was refunded to the account. So I left the store without a ring and my heart broken. I am so disappointed in how the situation was dealt with and how unwilling the staff was to help me. I am only giving this store a one star because its necessary. read more

I really enjoy shopping at the Carson City Kohls. I had only shopped at Kohls once, in Reno a few years ago. While it is a little crowded, over all they have a great selection and the employees are so very helpful. And their prices can't be beat. read more
