I ordered an item that indicated that it was available in the store or could be shipped to the store for free. The order to pick it up in the store seemed to go through, but I then got an email saying it was no longer available. So, I attempted to order it shipped free to store. After several attempts, a chat help attempt and a phone call to Kohl's (not the local store because they dont answer their phone), I was told that the item could not be shipped free to the store. Great place to go for teens and college students, I am 5'3" and sometimes it's hard to find jeans that fit me well, this is the first place I go and they never disappoint with fashionable and comfortable options. Some items are expensive, but somehow it seems as though every time I check out I get a bigger discount off then I thought I was going to. They are good about having sales and discounts for items to make pleasant surprises at check out. They update there selection regularly, every time I come in there is something new and super cute. Over all it is affordable with a great selection and the Kohl's cash is an awesome feature. I've never had a bad experience here. My favorite place to shop for clothing in the entire Bryan/College Station area. Definitely worth a visit. read more

The corporate offices should read some of these reviews and consider management changes for this location. I am currently waiting to check out and have been in line for 30 minutes. I called the manager on duty who told me they are short staffed so that is just how it is. I walked in the afternoon with a big box of returns. I made eye contact and was greeted by the first cashier, seen by the second, and was in line in front of the third cashier. All saw me. It took about ten minutes to reach the front and when I finally got to the front, the third cashier rudely told me I couldn't do a return there and that I needed to go to the back of the store. I told her that I just waited ten minutes and I didn't want to go back and wait ten more and she gave me an attitude about how the cashiers can't do returns. No apology from any of them who watched me in line and no apology for her sass. I definitely will be avoiding Kohl's at all costs. Totally inappropriate. I may be young, but I don't treat anyone with disrespect unless they start it off like that with me. It was almost like she was talking down to me and I didn't know what I was doing. read more

This Kohls store is horrible! I went one day and you could not even shop for clothes because all the pants were not in the right places clothes were on the floor. It was a hot mess. I was desperate and had to shop from the racks. I complained to management and said they should be ashamed and his excuse was they did not have enough people working even though there were several people working and just wondering the store. Poor excuse if you ask me. I said then you should go fix it. Instead several people just stood up front listening to me complain instead of working. Pitiful. I work in customer service and it was truly a disgrace. I haven't been back. read more

I have never had a bad experience in this Kohl's. Although, sometimes the checkout line is longer than I would like. When this happens, I have noticed they call for back up & open more registers. Sometimes I have trouble finding what I need but staff is available to help, usually. If not, I can track someone down. What I love most about shopping at Kohl's, is their "Hassle-Free Return Policy." Target could learn a thing or two from Kohl's philosophy. The staff here have gone above and beyond to help me resolve a problem with an online Kohls.com purchase. Unfortunately Kohls.com customer service does not compare to service received in store. When I contacted the corporate office with a complaint about online service, I was offered an apology, treated kindly, and felt like there was genuine concern & desire to make a satisfied customer of me. Loved the store but had a very bad experience while checking out. The man checking me out made me feel super uncomfortable for not wanting to sign up for a Kohl's card. I get there's probably an incentive for employees to get people to sign up but he was at the point of harassing me. He kept commenting on how much I was spending after each item he rang up and how it's not smart of me to not want to save money. When I said I couldn't open a card at this time he continued to say oh why not of course you can and pressed on. It wasn't until I asked him to please stop that he did. After that he was just rude. This store has a lot of potential. They have great visuals for the front of the departments and the departments are very clear, however maintenance is terrible. I understand that there are so many different customers going into the store every day and that they try on clothes and put them back not knowing where they belong, but there should be an associate assigned to each department and they should remain there to constantly make sure things are easy to find. It really isn't that hard to put the same style of pant in one location and to organize it in a manner that makes sense. Currently everything is just mashed together on a couple racks, in no size order, nor the correct hangers specifying the correct size. I really hope someone decides to be proactive in this store and turn things around. Sales will undoubtably increase if items are easier to find. read more

After trying on several dresses I finally picked one since it was on sale. Went to the register and of course it rang up full price. Walked over to show them the sign right above the dresses. Was told oops that's the wrong sign! You have read the fine print. It was handled so poorly I walked out. Called corporate was encouraged to go back and talk to a manager. When I went back the manager said well I can't help that you didn't read the small print. The sign was in the wrong spot!! A lazy employee didn't read the sign either! She finally honored the price and I was told "this time only". Like I make a habit of doing this really? So to make a long story short it should have been handled like I am so sorry it's our mistake let's honor this price and we will move the sign. Instead I left feeling horrible. Don't these people realize that a good experience goes along ways and a bad one sticks around forever! read more

The woman sales associate behind the jewelry counter would not make eye contact to help me. One customer had to shout over the counter to get her attention. She continued to ignore the rest of us, pacing back and forth as if none of us were around. It was not busy, as it was dinner time (5:00 p.m.) I got tired of trying to get her attention and left without a purchase. read more
