I was going to be in the area for lunch so I thought that I would use my kohl's cash from last weekend and check out the clearance rack for any good deals. The clearance rack for men had some nice name brand button up shirts for $50 marked down to $10 so I grabbed a couple and with my kohl's cash it would be under $9 for both which is a great deal for hame brand new clothes. When I got to the register I was told that I had a return and my kohl's cash was not good and I explained that the manager did a return and a new purchase at the same time and I wouldn't loose my kohl's cash. The cashier called for a manager and I explained my situation and I was not supposed to loose my kohl's cash if I did a purchase of an item that was higher than my return at the same time and she confirmed that that was true but they were supposed to give me a new Kohl's cash coupon which they didn't but she honored it anyway. Yes Kohl's has made some mistakes and the return policy is starting to get frustrating because the men's fitting rooms are closed so you can't try on anything so you have returns for clothes that don't fit, I was eventually told that I can use the woman's room in the West Allis location but that didn't help for my last 3 visits when I didn't know that. The fact that this location honored another stores mistake and took care of me is the thing that keeps me coming back. read more

Still our go to place for back to school shopping. There was no coverage for the junior fitting rooms so clothes were everywhere. The furniture outside the dressing rooms is quite dirty. Also the self pricing towers are far and beyond. You do get special coupons and discounts for having the Kohls change. You can also use them on the clearance plus earn Kohls cash. read more

This store rocks! The associates are very friendly and helpful! I bought over $300 (after discounts). I came in today and saw some of the stuff I bought on sale and had a 30% of coupon. The associate price adjusted everything without the receipt! Tip if you get the Kohl's card, there is a minimum balance to pay with no interest (it's usually about 1/3 of the bill. That is 0% financing! Do pay you bills on time :) Awesome! read more

I was in search of a particular top that someone told me they bought at this Kohls location. I do not live anywhere near this location but after checking the web site and 3 Kohls stores by me, I chose to make the drive out to Oak Creek to find this darn top! After looking around on my own for a while, I asked an associate for help. The associate told me she would check with another worker and check the computer to find what I was looking for since she was not aware of this item. I continued to look around as did she and after about 20 minutes I checked back with her and she was still looking for it. At this point I was ready to give up. I was at three stores before this and no one has it. so I thanked her for her time and told her how much I really appreciated her helping me so much. Before I left she asked if I could leave my name and if she came across it, she would call me. Thank you Ann - you should be associated of the month! I have never had such dedicated service for such a long period of time to find one top and then to go the extra mile to take my name and continue to look for it. I was really impressed. Lets not get it twisted. I'm not the biggest fan of Kohl's. Their clothes never fit me right. I spent $75 dollars on a Brewers jersey here, thinking I got a good deal but finding out the sleeves were way too short. If you think I'm crazy, I bought the same exact jersey from Fan Fair and the sleeves were almost double the length. I love comic book T-Shirts, yet they always seem to be out of 2XL. Honestly, if you buy these shirts for a store, why buy so many small sizes? Us comic book fans aren't the most trim bunch. I do occasionally step foot in Kohl's for certain things. It's one place I can get slippers for my giant feet without paying out the butt. My wife rolls in here for jewelry and shoes, and she always pops up with a ton of coupons to keep stuff cheap. She handed me two of these coupons and told me to buy some baby clothes. I stepped foot into this location, with diaper bag and baby in tow, only to find out they didn't have a cart for me to put the baby in while I shop. This was a Monday morning so there was no one shopping and a ton of carts. I saw one with a child's seat being used by a mother in the store, but no more; none in the parking lot, none in the store. Horrible. You mean to tell me, in a community that is filled with kids you have only one cart with a child's seat? That wouldn't deter me from the task at hand, as I muscled up and carried my daughter through the store as I shopped. I would have probably bought more clothes, but my hands were full. Worst part was I got to the register and put my stuff down for the lady to ring me up. She told me the total, I handed her my credit card to swipe with my hands full, and much to my dismay she said she couldn't swipe it, leaving me to juggle baby and something else. I won't be back to this location, and it will be a long time before I step foot in another Kohl's. Fail. read more

Friendly staff, I was asked if I was finding everything OK by staff walking by. There was only one person in front of me in the checkout and I was asked if it would be on a Kohls charge, which irritates me because I don't want one, but it is their job to ask. This was the main Kohl's I went to but after numerous times of horrible customer service, I have decided to not shop at this location. The staff, for the most part, are ridiculously rude and need a customer service class immediately. Any questions asked are met with annoyed sighs and a "how dare you bother me" attitude. I understand that everyone has bad days, we all have them, but it feels like everyone there is in a constant state of "I rather be anywhere but here/I hate my job." There have been times where I ask a staff member for help and they have been amazing and incredibly helpful (those people kept me coming back), but sadly the regular bad customer service outweighs the good. I wish this location would get its act together because it is in my neighborhood, but until things change I will be going to other Kohl's. ***Thank you Kohl's team for your comment! :) I love shopping at Kohl's, and this location is the most convenient for me since I live and shop in this area. I spend quite a bit at Kohl's and have been an MVP customer for many years. However I just had a terrible customer service experience. I called because I could not find the sunglasses I purchased along with $133.00 worth of merchandise. The woman who answered was short with me and just said "sorry. I worked both days and no one turned them in". I asked if she could check with the cashier as I had the receipt and she said she'd have no way of knowing. I worked retail and there is always a way to know who the cashier is on transactions. I just got the feeling she didn't want to put forth any effort to even help check if the cashier remembered anything. Perhaps I need to go back to purchasing from Amazon Online or many of the other retailers that are hungry for business. I love going here, the cashiers are wonderful and very helpful. Disregard the previous reviewers comments. They accept ALL coupons, they are a clean store, and it is nice to have a staff that cares. The service desk will answer any questions you may have. If you are a good customer who doesn't start drama, you will have no problems shopping here. If you cause drama, are rude to the staff because of coupons, you will have problems. There are only certain exclusions like clearance items on coupons so as long as you can read on at least a third grade level, you'll love this place! read more

Ever since what happened with my pearl ring and the customer service I received there, I no longer frequent this location. However, on an occasional visit when I am in the area, I stop by. Recently, I went in to look for some LC Maxis that have been quickly sold out at other locations. In this case, I was out of luck but I did manage to find a tank top that caught my eye. So you know Kohl's is mainly known for giving you the discount if you have the code handy but don't have the coupon present? Well I was actually denied. Seriously, first time ever! The cashier insisted I needed my coupon present even though I said I had wrote the code down in case I would not have it with me. Even though she denied me the discount, she asked if I had a Kohl's charge account. The nerve! To try to sign me up for her benefit but deny me the stupid discount. I said I am already a Kohl's charge member. I also told her I would not purchase my merchandise without the discount. You know what I did? As a Kohl's charge member, I went home, and I applied my 30% off discount online along with the free shipping code. Tell me, what is the difference between getting in store or ordering it online?! Now get this, I called my sister, who is also Kohl's frequent shopper, about this "possible" new policy. (She resides in Madison.) I told her to bring her coupon but don't show it to them unless they ask. Guess what? They gave it to her without her needing to verify she had her coupon with her! What the heck? Just down right bad customer service! By the way, this lady is the same lady that walks around with a clipboard asking if you have a Kohl's charge card. If you have seen her, you know who I mean. To really enjoy shopping at Kohl's, ya gotta know how to play the game. First off, get their credit card. You get a ton more deals/coupons and they update you as to when they are having sales. I am not encouraging you to rack up tons of money you don't have, however. I only buy what I know I can afford to pay off right away. Otherwise, you get hit with 21 percent interest rate..no thanks! NEVER buy at full price. Want a piece from the guest designers new collection? Wait a week or two and it will go on sale. For example, they had Derek Lam create a line of summery dresses and about 3 weeks after it was released, it was marked at 40 percent off. USE THE DAMN COUPONS. I am not a coupon clipper. It would drive me insane. But when Kohl's gives me 20 percent off, I take it! I always shop the sales and then get 20 percent off already low prices. Finally, buy outta season. This may sound crazy, but once winter was done, I stocked up on sweaters and pants. Why? Cause they are marked down like CRAZY. I got an 80 dollar Narciso Rodriguez sweater for 8 bucks. Stocking up for next year never hurts! This particular store is very well maintained. It has a huge parking lot, and I've never felt crammed while shopping. Terrible customer service. The cashiers won't take coupons claiming whatever you are buying are "exclusions". I asked what could I buy in the store that isn't excluded in the coupon, I get the quip " well, there's a store full of stuff to buy!". Seriously... 80% of the store is excluded. I asked for a list of exclusions and *no one* could tell me the list, where to find the list, etc. etc. I won't shop here any longer because I grew tired of the coupon drama and the crappy snotty attitudes of the Millennials working here.
