Nice Kohl's, crap-tastic customer service. Everything from checking out of the store to their phone lines is a complete waste of your time. It seems like the Walmart customer service next door migrated on over. It's neat and tidy, but if you need assistance of any kind don't expect any of the workers to care as they walk on by with so much as a stare. Also, over phone.. I went here for the first time the other day and I have to say... GHETTO. Ive been to other Kohl's and they are actually clean and nice. This one is more like a Ross or Marshall's. Clothes thrown about, limit on clothes in dressing room (which is 6) and generally bleh feeling. I know its kinda far but the one is banning is way better. A few shift managers are very kind and courteous, but the rest of the store employees are just there to get a paycheck. And the coupon thing is ridiculous. I've had the same problem, and try exchange or return something when you've used the Kohls Cash, that you as a customer have earned, Nightmare!!!!!!! The fitting rooms are a disaster as well. As Kohls continues to hemorrhage customers, they have devalued their $10 birthday coupons, among other devalued incentives. They are not accepted on hundreds of items and brands, exactly like Macy's coupons. The deals have been negated largely by price increases, and their coupons are void on dozens and dozens of brands. Kohl's customer service at this store isn't up to par. The cashiers closest to the jewelry department are rude, impatient and lazy and they have no customer service skills. The ones in the jewelry dept. have the same attitude. It's terribly how the store manager doesn't keep a close tabs on the people they have working there. The store was clean and well kept up. I bought some nice clothes and used my Kohl's cash to buy them. This store charges you for bags. So if you want to buy something, you need to bring your own wheelbarrow. The rest of the people in this state are not putting up with this stupid pay for you bags crap!. read more

I love this store. It is always very clean and the team members are always friendly. They have an amazing selection of everything: shirts, pants, cookware, vacuums, etc. Their prices are always low depending on which day you go. A wonderful place to shop. read more

I don't shop for clothes very often, but Kohl's $10 coupon will usually pull me in. They have a nice variety of clothes in my size (10). And, I always go through the clearance rack, as something I might not have bought on a previous visit could be there. I prefer the La Quinta Kohl's as it tends to be less cluttered, but this location is very easy to get to right off the freeway. read more

Dante provided the best customer service ever I wish I could bottle him up and take him home! He called 3 different stores to find the tv we were looking for and then hold it for us. Then carried our umbrella and toaster out to the car for us as well. Everyone in the store was also very nice. read more

Two stars for poor customer service at check out. Just now, I really don't think it's too much to ask or expect a cashier (ID 999-9592-8286-8097-8812-9395-5833) to give you his attention when paying. Unfortunately, he didn't say hello, didn't acknowledge me (other than to ask if I'd like to use my kohls charge and save) loom a way in the distance and no thank you. Too sad, and I have to say kohls has a great market but maybe lacking in customer service is why they're closing stores. It doesn't take much to show your customer you "see" them. Rude ppl work at Khols People who don't want to work in the shoes department I think his name was Brian never offered to help nor asked to find another shoe for my daughter the department was awful alot of product missing claimed he was the Supervisor told me that a truck never arrived when I asked him t to measure my daughter foot to see exactly Wat Sized she wore he claimed they didn't have one in the store, the shoe department was very dirty alot of shoes not there in their right places. When I asked him to call "the store manager" he refused he replied that he was the shoe department Supervisor but couldn't help us with crap I was very upset very disturb by the way the shoe department looked like being Palm Desert the Assistant Store Manager "Brittney" was even worse than him couldn't help us,either she was rude none of them wanted to work it's waz ridiculous she told me she was not allowed by Khols to touch my daughter feet I was asking for a "Pedicure I was asking them to size my daughter shoe size & to help us find another pair of shoes I was so annoyed by lazy employees & that store being so dirty No product to sell. Returning stuff is a pain. First they let me wait in line at the front cashiers, took someone that walked up with me, cleaned her station and finally acknowledged me. She asked if it was a return. Since I was standing there with a large kohls bag and a receipt in my hand she was quite observant. She then tells me returns are in the back of the store. I walk to the back and Someone else is being helped. There is some confusion about which credit card to process her return to so it takes a while. During this the phone rings so the clerk stops the transaction she is working on to take a call. I won't be back. read more

Kohl's in La Quinta, No employees, dirty, s-l-o-w lines. this store is a joke. Take my advice and don't waist your time, gas or money. Prices are blown out of per-portion in order to put on "sale", no real brands - they have their brands, in which they place their high prices on, but where is the value in that.... store brands are still just store brands, The store in Palm Desert is newer and for now, cleaner but the pricing and trickery is the same! read more

Store was very clean when I shopped there today. No long lines. The staff was very polite and helpful. I was greeted by every employee I saw. The bra department, which had been a mess a year or so before, was now immaculate. I'm happy to say I found the store much improved and I'll surely be returning. read more

Was not looking forward to a day shopping with my toddler but Daniel was amazing and made my visit quite enjoyable. Not only did he help me return a item but as I went to purchase an item I noticed there was a bit of a line as he came to the checkout to help shorten the wait. Far from pleasurable experience here. I went to pick up a bathing suit for this summer.. I went to the swim section and searched for an employee to help me find a specific style of suit. Not one employee was in sight. I collected a variety of suits and went to the dressing rooms. Well, I found where all the staff was! Grouped together in front of the woman's dressing rooms.. Being completely ignored and feeling like an inconvenience I hesitantly asked if they carried my desired style of suit, they quickly replied in a sarcastic tone "no we don't sell that here" (which dosent make sense because I called prior to my voyage to the store) to top it all off I wanted another size in one of the tops I was trying on.. The girls responded with "oh we're out" I had to scavenge through the rack of disregarded try-ons behind them.. Only to find exactly the size I wanted in the suit.. Long story short the girls manning the dressing room are far from helpful and need either better supervision or better training.. Or both.. Probably won't be back. read more

The store is always a mess, you cannot even look at the clothes on the rack because they racks are so crammed full of hangers and clothes. The sizes are all mixed up. And I have complained about this twice before. The staff is rude and only cares about getting another credit card. Today there was 1 cashier who was so ignorant that she did not have enough sense to call for backup with 8 people in line. Also, this store has bad quality clothing, not at all what the ones in Orange County carry. I don't recommend this store to anyone, and I will never go back. read more

Not the best in service, that could definitely improve. The quality of their products and locations are usually good. The overall cleanliness of the store was good. Just no more chola/unskilled managers. Kohls is Not handicap friendly! I have a temporary knee injury and needed to use a motorized scooter or wheel chair for shopping at Kohls this week. I learned that they do not have motorized scooters and that the wheel chairs they have do NOT have any foot rests on them. Therefore, I could not use the chairs because with my knee injury I cannot hold my leg up and it would have dragged on the ground as the chairs are not very high. We had to leave and go shop elsewhere as their wheelchairs are unusable. Many people in need of a wheelchair cannot use their leg or legs and need to have footrests. It is just ridiculous to have wheelchairs that do not have foot rests. This has given me a new insight about what handicapped people have to go through on a day to day basis. Kohls management should be embarrassed and ashamed for their lack of consideration to handicapped people. I will shop elsewhere. read more

Tried kohl's again, only to be disappointed again. This time, I had the privilege to overhear 5 employees talking about getting wasted the night before and this lasted for a good 10 minutes. One of them had a mic and earpiece on, so I'm guessing she was in management. They didn't even look around to see if anyone was listening. So, here I am at Kohl's, with my husband in toe, to spend the $90.00 Kohl's cash I have received. My cash expired on May 30th. And, I was told I had 10 days past that day to use it. 3 days ago I search high and low for clothes for me and it did not pan out, mostly because I spend over $600 earlier. We went to Catalina and I told my husband he can buy some clothes the day we get back...on June 10th. Totally stupid of me because I didn't count May 31st as a day and thought I had until June 10th. I went to customer service and with one person asking another person and then a manager they said there was nothing they could do for me. I know if was my fault by not counting the 31st....even the guy behind the counter said it's happened already a couple times that day. So, is there a gimmick as to them having them expire on the 30th.....or any end of the month, so people would miss count the last day they could use it? I say yes! And, I say shame on you Kohl's because it wouldn't have made a difference to you to give me my rewards. You just lost a customer.... read more

I wish I didn't have to put a star their customer service or lack thereof is HORRIBLE I asked for a manager and the 3rd person that I was passed onto was the manager and she wouldn't even come out to talk to me she kept "talking" to me thru the sales associate.
