Steve, one of the managers at the Marshall's on Ramon Road in Palm Springs has been harassing me for years as a customer. I've found numerous pairs of shoes and clothes for myself and my family at this store and, of course, obviously, when you buy lots of items, some items will turn out to be returns. Over the 17 years that I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars, this horrible, tiny, little older man has followed me around his store and has made every encounter with him as nasty as possible. I finally had to complain about his outrageous outburst behavior to the Marshall's corporate office for screaming and yelling at me over having to return a knit blouse that had a hole in it that I hadn't spotted when I purchased it. In front of an entire lineup of customers behind me, Steve decided to throw a hissy fit yelling and screaming and shouting at me that: "We don't carry that brand of clothing in our store", which was a complete lie as it was from the Ivanka Trump clothing line that Marshall's and TJmaxx did carry and we're selling until the brand was discontinued and whatever was left was placed in their clearance section. Steve then kept away from me until I found him in the shopping cart area, having followed me out there from inside the store and he told me to hand him my shopping cart and he pushed it away. several evenings ago, I had a return to make to Marshall's that I put into a TJmaxx plastic bag, which Steve obviously spotted since I wasn't trying to hide it, by any means. I saw Steve rush into his office when he saw me. (I'm pretty hard to miss, I'm tall, a former model and always well dressed and groomed.) When l gather up some things on clearance and went up to the cash register, Steve had obviously called over there to have the older female employee hassle me by demanding that I give her my drivers license, because, in her words, "It's been more than 30 days since I'd purchased the items." Immediately joining the cashier was apparently another manager or someone from security, both of whom looked at me so very oddly, both of whom examined every inch and detail of my face and makeup and the clothes that I was wearing, it was completely rude and shocking, but I continued to stand there, comply with giving my license and waiting as the cashier ran my information through her computer and found nothing, because there was nothing to find. She held up my drivers license and loudly proclaimed my name, for what purpose, I have no idea. I've never ever asked to hand over my drivers license when I've had my receipt, but this was a ruse perpetrated to access information about me in their database, I assume. Steve, the horrible little manager, never made an appearance during any of this, he was orchestrating the unnecessary drama behind his 'Wizard of Oz' curtain from his office and had, yet again, managed to viciously harass me, create drama and make me vow to never ever shop at that store again. read more

My second time visiting this store in five years. This Marshalls always comes in clutch. Especially if you forgot to pack something. Came here for some Korean skincare since I ran out and found a good selection in the skincare aisle. Looked up Pretty Skin toner online and Reddit said it was a decent toner for $5.99 and they were right. In the past I found a pepsi bathing suit that fit and looked so 80's but it looked great! Definitely stop in if you're having a fashion emergency and need some great finds at a great price. read more

Regina is absolutely terrible she got the best out of me today, I purchased a stainless steel sauteed pan on December 14th, 2025. Its a Viking Brand. I only used twice and the top was peeling, I went to the store trying to returned/exchanged. She, give me not options. no receipt no return and I left the pot on the counter, as I was walking out she asked me is thi trash or what= my response was whatever. Once I got home i did a litle research and her actions/responses are not what Marshall's return policies are . now i am out of 40dls for not doing my job as a customer but she as a company employee should Know better!!! read more

I gave this place only two stars. It's clean, looked organized. Appearance wise, this place is a 3 or maybe 4 star. Yet...... Nobody working there said hello, need help, or anything at all. I felt invisible. I like service, it makes up for everything and, to me, is the foundation of a company. So, I looked at clothes. It used to be that this was a discount store. I used to go to Marshalls and buy something fun and rarely spend more than $10. Like, not too long ago. But, for the prices I was seeing, I'll just go to a retail spot and pay the same. I don't know if it's because she's going to the change of life and I mean that sincerely not in a nasty derogatory way but she really needs to be pulled off the floor bad people skills. The shoe selection was terrible. It had very limited options and it was really unorganized. The rest of the store was organized better but it still didn't have that many great finds. The line was short but I could see why. The Ross 2 stores over was way better. read more

This is the Marshalls I hit up the most because of their housewares and Pet section. Amongst my friends, we call this specific Marshalls the untapped resource. We have multiple Tj Maxx, Ross, HomeGoods and Marshalls in the Coachella valley but this Marshalls on Ramon road has the best housewares and furkid stuff. You need a 10 qt stock pot? This Marshall's will have one Need an extra extra large dog bed for your big guy? This Marshall's is the spot I know they all get supplied by the same stock truck but this particular Marshalls gets an extra helping from the truck of the ornate and usuals houseware goods. I've notice they have better indoor and outdoor table cloths than the Ross next door or the TJ Maxx down in south Palm Springs. Better silverware choices, better cleaning supplies, better mugs. You get the idea. I will say- I haven't had much luck in finding decent clothes at this site because it feels more like a HomeGoods. I'd like to shout out Tristian at the front. I went in and wanted to return an item and he helped me locate a replacement- Super friendly and easy peasy. He smiled the whole time, asked me how my day was and solved my problem in one try. read more

This is a pretty nice Marshalls. Big selection, well stocked, clean and a nice staff. I managed to finish my entire back to school shopping for my son here. Tons of nice Ralph Lauren and nautical Polos for $10, lots of nice pants as well. Marshalls is really stepping up with getting bigger name designer brands for women, love it keep it up and I'll be a regular. read more

Just an FYI don't go here & spend a lot of money... it alarms them. Apparently I was being watched while I shopped. I gotta say...I'm kind of impressed. This is not an upscale store so it must be rated for what it is. It's clean, the staff is nice & outgoing and I find what I'm looking for each and every time. The fitting room lady was so outgoing. She was a middle aged hispanic lady. Wanted to help take the things we didn't want, friendly...it was great. Allow me to stay on this one subject for a second because it deserves it. The line at the cash wrap. Fabulous. Clean, fast and the invitation that you receive when there is an available cashier is great. There's no waiting for the person in front of you to realize there is an opening. I love Marshalls and some locations are better than other locations. This location is great, and excellent selection of guys clothes. Some locations ignore the guys and guys make up half the population. One can get an item here that Nordstroms sells for 3-4 x times more. Five stars is for the excellent customer service provided by Maricella B. I usually shop Ross, but I'm so tired of having to take the linens up to the counter to take the security tags off so I can FEEL the fabric, so I tried Marshalls. The manager there puts the security tags down an inch so you can feel the fabric. So yesterday I bought a set of sheets (plus about 5 more items I wasn't looking for.) Washed the sheets to see how they feel after washing and I really liked them. Knew they had another set so I went back today. Of course....gone. Maricella was busy bringing out new product so I asked her if she would see if they had any in the back. She happily checked. No nothing. But she offered to check the P.D. and Laquinta location plus TJ Maxx. She tried them all. I'm sorry to say I didn't get my sheets. But I'll definitely be back because of Maricella and her hospitality. read more

One of the neatest well organized Marshall's stores that I have seen in a long time. Fun place to find some truly discounted buys from children's toys, books, housewares, cosmetics, shoes, hats, pet supplies, luggage, hand bags, furniture, garden, towels & bedding, pictures, kitchen goods, and decorative pieces. Yet again marshals does not stop to surprise with their ridiculously low prices! My wife just got two dresses with MSRP of 200 and 259 for 15 and 29.99$! This is incredible! I got myself ck jeans and swimming shorts for 50$! I dont know, never was able to find better prices anywhere, even online things are at least twice as much. There were no other customers in front of me purchasing items. I felt like I was in the twilight zone because there were 3 cashiers just standing there talking. I was like "hello, hello!!". Finally someone manned his station and called me over and processed my transaction. You could tell he was irritated. He then asked one of the two other people who were still standing around while the line was building up to wrap up some glasses I bought. However, that was only after I asked him too. The cashier told my friend and I to stand aside so he "can get the line down" and then had another person wrap the glasses. The person he asked was looking like "duh...how do I do that?" So then the third person who had been standing around doing nothing the whole time decided to jump in and help out by showing him how to wrap the glasses. He was originally going to place two glass cups side by side and after I requested, she showed him how to do it one singularly. Finally after he was finished he was just standing there holding the glasses looking like, "ok, what do I do now?" I finally said, "can you just hand me the glasses so we can get out of here?". It was taking forever. I wanted to go behind the counter and do it myself. It was ridiculous how lousy the service was, how irritated the staff were that I had to interrupt their "break", and how incompetent the staff were. I'll never go to this Marshalls again. read more

Marshalls is clean, tidy, and bright, with employees milling about the store to assist customers. The two stores carry similar product lines at similar prices, but that is where the similarities end. I walked into Marshall's while I was waiting to go to work. At every other Marshall's I've been to I've never really had a problem. But this particular location was strange...the employees weren't very friendly. In fact one just kept staring at me with rude looks, like browsing around the store was a crime or something. She didn't even smile once, even when I smiled at her. That's bad customer service. Overall I like Marshall's just not this location. read more

Came here looking for a basic long sleeve white dress shirt. Was a bit disappointed that they no longer had a men's dress shirt section. The only area that they have for dress shirts is located with all the other clothing, hanging on hangers. Unfortunately, they had NO plain white dress shirts available. I've been here quite a few times and have had a hard time finding a good selection on men's dress clothing. We have found some other great deals just looking around the store, so I guess it really depends on what you are looking for. read more

Great House ware Department excellent pans and stuff. The loss of stars come from the men's wear dept. Marshall's usually has high end stuff but this place did not. I was very surprised as this is in Palm Springs. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful the way Marshall's staff always is. They should beef up the men's section I was in th mood for a bargain priced Armani or Versace! read more
