Terrible. They lied to my wife and signed her up for a credit card, and then didn't give her the terms and conditions. Then they were very unhelpful in trying to get it reversed. All in all, it hurts your credit score and they pretend they did nothing wrong. read more

Kolhs sucks gives experired coupons and when u go redeemed the coupons they make u look stupid saying that ur coupon is expired, no shit, but is the cashier's fault cause she gave me an expired coupon and I couldn't use it. I always thought Kohl's was a bad store similar to Ross, but i had never been. Once I finally went, my entire opinion was changed. The clothes are great. My store is huge so the selection is huge too. I especially love the housewares and kitchenwares. The best part though is all the sales. I constantly get coupons for 30% off and they have massive sales which compound. I often spend less on my whole cart total than I would have on one full priced item. read more

This store was a disappointment. I was thinking Kohl's was more of a low-to-mid pricepoint clothing department store chain. While it may be that in terms of the quality of their clothing lines, it is really a full-retail outfit and something of a price gouger. I was looking for a $25-35 dress shirt. I do not wear them very often anymore, but I have a wedding coming up and am looking for one of a certain, common, color. Not one to be found. AND, the shirts that I did see were running $45-$50 apiece. In order to get a price break on one of them, you have to buy TWO shirts, in reward for which Kohl's knocks 50% of the second shirt. Same tactics for their trouser offerings. Of course, this is back-to-school shopping season and Kohl's is doubtless trying to get their dough while they can when parents need to buy multiple articles of clothing. Still, for a guy who just needs to buy a shirt and get out the door, that come-on is ineffective. Also, it is clear that they do not have enough help in the store, or the help they have is simply not doing their jobs. I blame management for this. Not one single bin I found in the store had any of the sizes organized or in order. The way it works in retail are shoppers come examine and remove articles from the shelves and just stuff them back in any old place. Under normal circumstances, employees who are paid to keep the joint organized then come over to the clothes and put them back in order again. So that when the shelf says 17", all of the shirts in that bin are, in fact, 17". There was none of that. It was like Koko the Clown ran through the men's department with a platoon of pinheads, turning all of the shelves into a sartorial variant of 52-card pickup. In truth, Kohl's has allowed shoppers to rearrange their merchandise into dishevelment and are content to do nothing about it. Here's what gets me: they are charging Dillards prices for this bedlam. As I walked out I spotted a rack of cargo pants going for $75 a pair! Lulz! Who do you guys think you are kidding? Anyway, for the prices Kohl's is charging you are better off over in the mall at Macy's or Dillards. The $50 shirts at Dillards are actually good quality, and at least Macy's knows how to do sale racks. Meanwhile, I am still on the hunt for a simple, yellow, button-down, dress shirt; one that I can spill beer on at a wedding reception, okay? Is that too much to ask? read more

I shop at Kohl's several times a month. The sales are great, the selection is great, and if they don't have what you're looking for (your size or color), you can order it right in the store with the Kohl's kiosk. They are great about taking back items, exchanging items, and allowing you to combine discounts. I love to use my 30% off coupon, along with a $10 off coupon from the local paper, when buying items on sale! SCORE! About half of the time I shop, I leave with Kohl's cash, good for saving me money on my next visit! read more

Kohls is a nice place to buy clothes. The quality is good and the selection is nice. The problem I have is the service. although the staff seem to try to help it does not seem genuine. I had a very good experience when for some unknown reason my Kohls cash got "voided" in another state. I spoke to several people and they couldn't tell me how it happened but were gracious enough to honor it anyway and it was a substantial amount. I have never had an issue here, the managers and associates are always helpful and courteous. read more

Wow I cannot believe the comment I just read about the manager. I have been a Kohl's customer for years and every single time I go and run across Margie she is hands down the best. She is polite and shows nothing but gratitude I have nothing but great experiences with this lady. I was actually a customer the night this all took place Thursday evening and remember the night being completely different. It was in fact the customer who was yelling and cursing at the Manager and threw money in her face. The manager held it together and asked the customer to leave and not come back. I was completely baffled by the customers actions. I could not believe that some people could forget that they are talking to human beings with feelings. Really, really like the sales and clearance at this place. If it is not on sales or clearance it's way overpriced. If you sign up with them they send you really good sales coupons. There kid's clothes are really good brands which go on deep clearance. I paid about $200 for 3 years of shoes and clothes for my son at the Black Friday sales. OH YES, Me thinks SO. Who do you hire to work at your store? People who do not know a size 8 from a size 7. The box clearly says size 8, but, what do I get? Yes, a size 7. Now instead of one trip to the store to pick up my purchase, I have to drive back again, to return the wrong size and pick out the correct size on my own because you can not put the correct size shoe in the correct size box. Associate Johnny-female was very rude and made it seem that she was personally bothered by me. I was paying for something that was incorrectly priced by $5 and I informed her. I asked her to call the supervisor because she said I needed to pay regular price and the supervisor asked her to honor the price, since it was a store mistake. The associate said "you want me to give it to her for that price"?! With a very irritated tone. The supervisor had someone else take over to finish my order. I've never experienced anyone as unprofessional as this associate. We are at a retail establishment where the environment should be comfortable and customer focused. There was more to this situation but I am not going to add any more details as it will make for an even longer survey. I was at the store a week ago I really like going through the clearance items this time of the year . I found a pair of black boots after searching for a while that were in there . Their was no price on them so I asked the lady working in the shoe department if she could help me , she said that she does not normally work there that I would have to go to customer service . I really do enjoy coming to this store to do some fun shopping. I always find something that I would like to purchase. They do have great deals on some merchandise. However I still find that some "great deals" just aren't that great, in my opinion. Sometimes it is an annoyance to have to wait in a long line when purchasing due to the fact that there are only 2 cashiers working at checkout. I never leave reviews but I just had to after tonight's experience. We went in looking to take advantage of our Kohl's charge 30% coupon. We went in specifically for Christmas decor and looking for village pieces. We were unsuccessful finding it on the floor, so we asked an associate in the home department named Ivan. This man showed exceptional customer service, he did not give up on the search for our items that by the way HE FOUND. I felt I really needed to highlight this because, how many times have we all asked an associate to help us find something or look in the back just to be told "we're out of stock" or "we can order it for you". Ivan really helped us and made it a great experience at Kohl's, unlike past visits. read more

I have to say, I normally hate shopping, but I really like shopping at Kohls. First of all, I love shopping someplace where I can shop for myself and my kids. I'm all about convenience! Second, I really like the options they have, in both the children's and Misses sections. The Jumping Bean brand is very reasonably priced and the clothes are made well, and the options for women's clothes are great! I'm in my early 40's, and I sometimes feel like all clothing stores either gear their products toward twenty-somethings or women in their sixties, but Kohl's has a great selection of clothes for my age group, both casual and work. Finally, I love the number of discounts they give, and they let you use multiple coupons. I have walked out with 8-10 items and spent around $100! It's the only store credit card I own, and it's totally worth it. My only issue with this location is that they don't do the greatest job keeping the aisles clear and organized. I have been to several locations, and this seems to be a consistent problem, but it seems to be more so at the Palmdale location. read more

I've never written a yelp review about a store but today I had to. I don't like shopping. With that said I usually like Kohls bc I can usually find what I need there. I haven't been to kohls in a while so it's no surprise that I saw lots of new faces. Problem is they were all bored, angry or just seemed to be pissed they were working. I got there about 6 pm they close at 9. After wandering in the intimates area for a while I couldn't find anyone that worked there and I needed help. So I went to jewelry, deserted. Finally I found some at a check out register where I asked if they could send someone over to help me. 45 minutes later still no one. I took what I needed into the fitting rooms and began the grueling process if trying stuff on. 3/4s of my way thru I heard an employee going thru the put backs. I told her I asked for help earlier and got a blank state. I asked her I'd she had something in a different size. Obviously this was putting her out. She returned with one thing. Better than nothing. Later in a different section I found someone and asked if they had an article of clothing in a diff size. She said shed check the inventory on the computer. She said they did but its on the flour which means it could be anywhere, with no offer to help me find it. Much later I paid for my things and left. Now I'm exhausted, mad I spent so much bit miffed at the lack of customer service. I finally get home and get ready to wash my new purchases when all 3 of my "intimates" still have the security tag on them!!! I can't believe it!! Obviously I can't take them off as I don't want holes in my $$ 100 bras I just painstakingly sorted, tried on and bought! So I called the store. Now they are closed and have been for about 15 mins. But the recording says press 0 to speak to an after hours associate. I do and am put on hold and am "transferred " about 3 times for 10 mins before I get disconnected. Now I'm fuming! I call back and repeat the process about 10 more times. The same thing each time! Now ladies, I don't know if I'm alone here, but I don't buy bras unless I really need them. It's not like a purse or cute top where I have others at home that'll work just as good. Believe me I'll be calling when they open tomorrow and after my long day at work ill drive my happy butt back to palmdale to get this taken care of but really? I'm so done. Obviously it was an honest mistake but the rude customer service and being disconnected several times adds salt to the wound. Don't think I'll be back to shop. Oh yes, forgot to mention, while in the dressing room i heard 2 customer service people bitch about putting things back in the wrong place, always being in a bad mood and getting in trouble for it while I'm changing. read more
