This Kohl's is close to my house. My wife likes it because it has a Sephora inside. I like it for the value of the product in the men's clothing, although I didn't purchase any thing on this particular day. I did notice that they had a lot of sales and people were doing back to school shopping. If you do spend money, you can earn Kohl's bucks, but just a word of advice you have to use those within the timeframe that's listed on the coupon. read more

I had a great retail therapy day! Kohl's has such a wide selection of work out clothes. I also found a few shirts for my son's. I don't think I have ever been here and there has not been a great sale. The customer service is always quick & efficient. I was shopping for my husband. I went to the Riverbank Kohl's. This was the first of June 2022. The men's department was a pigsty. Underwear packages opened, underwear all over the place and on the floor. No associates in sight. I found what he needed and left. He needed more of the same, so I just returned in July. I thought my visit in June was a one-off, but it was the same disgusting mess. As another Yelper said it was as though someone had thrown clothes in the air. I was in Turlock yesterday and stopped at that location. Same mess. No associates around to help, either. Cashiers at both locations were friendly, but the stores are a disgrace. read more

This store needs serious help, I walked in yesterday when it opened and there were piles of women's clothing on the floor, displays, and hangers, the place looked like a BLACK FRIDAY SALE happened and no one picked up. Nothing matched what was displayed under the sign, you had to walk over the piles to get to another section, the mom in me wanted to start picking up and folding, yet there were endless piles to the point I walked out. June 23rd at 4:53 pm. I was happy to see the sign that facemasks were required to shop in store. The first employee i see checking out a customer wasn't wearing her mask appropriately. If your nose isn't covered you might as well not wear one. The security guy was standing in front when a lady and her daughter walked in without a face covering. I wish I got the ladies name, she was sooo rude. She was working the returns . My dad , daughter, and I were standing in line for about 10 min waiting our turn. Another lady come up to stand in line and the rude associate completely tried skipping us. She told the lady in line behind us that she would help her. My dad said , "are you going to skip us" and she rudely replied "I have to take kohl's returns first. I told her, I do have a kohls return, I have both. We just felt very discriminated against. I've probably been shopping at various Kohl's stores for ten years. They generally have reliable merchandise and they discount their discounts and then, add more discounts. (I don't truly believe that I saved over $70 during this visit. They'd go out of business.) Of course, the practical truth is likely that their products aren't so expensive in the beginning. For instance, their luxurious Apt. 9 bath towels are $17.99 and I got them for $8.99 on sale. If I'd had a Kohl's charge card, I might have had an addition 15-30% off coupon. If they can still make money at say, $5.99, those towels are really inexpensively made, even though they're better than most on the market, including towels sold at Macy's. The store wasn't as neat as I'd hoped but it wasn't as bad as the store at McKee and Jackson in San Jose. There, it seems as though people went to every shelf and picked up clothes and threw them in the air. The cashiers were extremely friendly and helpful. read more

Walked in Kohl's the minimum it opened and the store looks like a disaster. They obviously do not clean the store at night. If I were Vera Wang I wouldn't want my clothes displayed here. Love me some Kohls and especially like this kohls because of the check in bonus and how organized it usually is. It's not the biggest kohls but they do have just about everything you are looking for from kids toys and clothes to shoes and housewares. Take advantage of the free wifi and Always check the kohls all and facebook page for discounts there is usually some kind of 10 to 15% off discounts. Plus you get kihls cajs that always come in handy. I love checking my receipt for some too! Only downside is that they always seem to not have enough check stands open and lines can get long but after about 6 people lined up they get on their walkie talkies and employees are there opening other registers. read more

Well, the good things are that there are a lot of good things if you keep looking... And coming back... My best finds were jeans, a harry potter tee shirt (because I'm obsessed ), and more jeans. About the jeans. I got this wonderful pair of jeans and then when I got home I was like hey I'll wear it to school tomorrow and then boom the STUPID GUY LEFT THE SECURITY TAG ON IT!! Its that time of year back to school clothes shopping...They have a great variety of jeans , nice blouses and T shirts ..

Generally, I purchase from Kohl's. While I'd prefer the quality of Macy's, Kohl's and its frequent coupons better fits my budget and is closer to home. That being said, let me share my frustration with this store. My husband and I arrived this evening in search of a dress shirt, tie and pocket square, tie bar and cuff links. The problem we ran into: this store carried cuff links, but NO shirts with French cuffs, and sells coats with a breast pocket and lapel hole, but NO pocket squares or lapel pins! What is the point!? This was an incredibly frustrating experience as there was no way to properly outfit my husband as needed although the displays at the store lead you to believe you'll be able to find what you need in store. I don't know why the ball is dropped in the details of men's dress, but this needs to be remedied! The racks are packed so tightly that you cannot shift items to look or select without others falling to the floor and the dress shirt shelves were completely disorganized and unkempt. The attendant working the men's section looked as though she had absolutely rolled out of bed, threw a scarf over her lounge clothes and flew to work. Her hair a messy nest on the top of her head, old dirty TOMS shoes, white shirt with black bra showing through and straps openly visible on her back. Stamps from her weekend activities covered her hands and she made no eye contact as she folded pants and dropped them into piles on the floor. Our experience in the men's section of the store was messy, unattended to, confusing and unsuccessful as we were not able to find what we needed. BOTTOM LINE: If you're looking for elements for a suit, be prepared that while you'll be able to find a jacket with a breast pocket and lapel hole, you won't be able to find a pocket square or lapel pin; and while you'll be able to find a selection of cuff links, there are no shirts with French cuffs! Save your time and go to across the parking lot to Men's Wearhouse. read more

This one star goes solely to Ashley Mkiney store manager at the Riverbank Store, I hope corporate office and a regional manager gets in contact with me asap regarding this matter as I am a regular customer shopping at different khols stores. On Jan 24 2020 after a very long day at work I decide to stop at kohls to return some Items. The employee on the customer service desk then called her manager. Ashley came and I was asked all this questions. Why? What is wrong with the item? She asked me for my social security number. That is not on the kohls policy. I felt I was being interrogated. I felt descriminated when she laughed and said I am not going to approve the return. I felt ashamed and humiliated. I asked for corporate office number and she said with a smurk on her face, sure go ahead call. I felt she looked at my appearance and because I went after work, with my work clothes did not approved the return. This is very sad for all the hard working people spending money at khols and a store manager treating you like you are a pos. read more

I am 110% satisfied with the customer service I received from Yesenia a manager at this location. I was told by the customer service line that I was out $30 of my own money and shipping cost at no fault of mine because I had to exchange a faulty item. Very stressed and confused, I decided to call the store and my concerns were addressed by Yesenia. Not only did she show true concern and was eager to help, Yesenia resolved the issue quickly. It's a little weird writing a review for this store because I do not usually shop here a lot, but appreciate some of the items they have over the neighboring Target. I happened to be in here to look at some kitchenware and a dress caught my eye. I tried it on and decided to buy it. After just 2 washes the button came undone and the material ripped. I was not happy and brought it in as a return. I went directly to Customer Service (located in the back right) and the lady working listened to me and promptly looked up the receipt and gave me a full refund. I see that some people had problems with returns, but I was thankful for how easy it was to return this dress. So, I would not necessarily recommend all of the clothing brands they carry, but I can say that I was very happy with the customer service I received. read more

During the back to school season I went in to get myself some shirts. I politely asked a worker if she knew where I could find solid black shirts and she looked at me and said i don't know, I go to target for that so try there. I stood there with a blank face as to what she said, then she walked away. I complained to someone else about this girl and they wanted me to wait to talk to the manager but I was so annoyed I took off then left.. The past three times I've been to this Kohl's I have had to wait in lines that take fifteen minutes or longer. No wonder people online shop with them rather then use the store. It has not mattered what time of day or what day I go. This week I went on a Friday at 10:00am, there was a huge line (15 customers) and one person working the check out. They paged for more employees to come up front but no one came. I don't know if they are understaffed or if their staff has too many responsibilities with the online orders but I will not be shopping here anymore. I ended up walking out and not purchasing my items. Very sad. read more

For a small one horse town Kohl's has a great variety of clothes, shoes, and small household items. It seems that they are always having a sale. I buy most of my daughters clothes here for school, their Jumping Bean brand of children clothes are very durable and quality made. They have a good selection of toddlers shoes. read more

I had over $100 of clothing in my hand and walked up to jewelry register and the gal said I could only use that register if I was purchasing jewelry Well there were two clerks at the jewelry counter with no customers and a line of over 10 customers at the main registers with only two clerks. My daughter ordered a hoodie for her friend to be deliver to the store. She had 6 days to p/u ince she got the notice. She called and it wasn't there. Understandable. We got a notice that it came. However the 4 days of the later arrival counted as the time she had to pick it up and they claimed it was somewhere on the floor or they couldn't find it(my wife talked to someone to make sure it was on hold). The item in question was paid for but they claimed it got cancelled and a refund should be available in a few days, maybe for we got 3 answers. Yeah I get it Kohls has great coupons, Kohls cash and is generally cheaper than Macy's but this Kohls in Riverbank is not at all what I expected! The customer service is horrible by both associates AND managers! The store is always a mess no matter what day or time of the week it is - clothing racks packed so tightly making it difficult to pull something out without other clothes falling to the floor, the table folds are outrageously disorganized and the fitting rooms are never clean. What is this? I did know someone that once worked at Kohls and I asked him why the store was always a mess and he told me it had something to do with payroll - which is why they only schedule ONE person to work THREE departments all day. CRAZY. How do they expect to have a clean floor and have every customer assisted AND satisfied when there is only ONE associate working??!?! Not every associate is unwelcoming at this establishment, but one day I went in I encountered an associate who was dressed very unprofessional and did not greet us cheerfully. On top of that there needed to be a price adjustment with one of our items and it was store policy that she had it confirmed by a manager. I thought the problem would be solved with the manager but it wasn't! She was extremely rude and talked to us as if we were children! I would write a description of her but I won't. I just hope the store manager realizes soon that this girl needs an attitude adjustment!! And because of these reasons I will not be returning to Kohls in Riverbank. Oh, and another thing about this Kohls (I'm not sure if all other Kohls are like this- I've only been here) is that its pretty obvious who the Loss Prevention workers are! I mean come on, they're dressed as normal people walking around the store clearly faking that they are shopping and just staring at people AND I saw them helping out associates clear dressing rooms and do price adjustments.
