This used to be the store I would go to for alot of my clothes and sometimes shoes or other things I needed. I went in there today for some Nike clothes and was very disappointed. Very crappy selection and they used to have alot of cute Nike clothes. Then I gave up on that and went to look for some jeans or maybe some other clothes. It basically all sucks now in there. Very little selection and what there is, is just crap. There is a better selection at Meijer, which is where I ended up. I wondered why the parking lot was so empty at 4pm and now I know. My family ussd to be obsessed with Kohls and after talking to them when I left, they said they haven't been there in years because it's just crap in there and they don't have anything anymore. They may as well close. Sad to see that today but I doubt I'll be back. read more

The customer service in this store has declined quite a bit over the last year. Their is a strong language barrier with many of the employees in there, as I speak only English. I am going to switch gears and start shopping at JC Penny's more often. read more

I do most of my Kohl's shopping online. It's easy, fast and you can either pick up in store or have it delivered to your house. The coupons and Kohl's cash are a great way to save a ton of money. This location has a Amazon return center and if you do your Amazon returns here, you get a $5 coupon to use in store. That's a great bonus. This Kohl's also has a Sephora located inside. I love Kohl's hassle free returns. They have a great shoes selection with brands like Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Converse and my personal favorite Vans. Their clothing is a vast selection of the same name brands mentioned plus lots of others. Checking out can sometimes be long, that's why I prefer online shopping. The employees have always been friendly and the store is clean and laid out well. They have all your shopping needs from clothing for the entire family, houseware, toys and seasonal items. This Kohl's was a lot smaller than the location I am used to, but still easy to navigate. I was looking for a specific hamper, and sadly they only had one in store (not the one I wanted). Everything was super organized in the home area though. It was easy to find different items. They had prices for everything. I did breeze through some of the kitchen area as well. I did notice the line was super long though. The line was extended towards the shoe area, and it looked like all cashiers were not open. I am unsure why this was considering it was Memorial weekend and the store was filled with customers. I may come in again sometime considering this location is closest to me. Recently purchased online sizes were off, so I want to see if I can get exchange them for a different size, don't have them .you have to re-purchase them They wanted me to jump through hoops because they got rid of their ordering system. Great job Kohl's fixing something that's not broke. Therefore, I lost my 30% had to pay full price and lost my Cole's cash. Great job Kohl's you're going to be like bed bath and beyond. Bye-bye baby Kmart keep on going the right way. Also did another order big and tall two extra large tall shirts ordered four of them and they are all so tight. I couldn't get them off seriously. Kohls is a hot mess. But I love it. The coupons and Kohl's cash keep me coming back. This particular location is extremely busy, but it is a huge perk that it as a stand alone and quite a little ways outside the mall, so I feel like most people come to this location just to shop at Kohl's and then leave, or come here and then perhaps go on to the mall. That actually makes a huge deal in the clientele. There's not a lot of people just kind of roaming around to kill time I feel like they are there for a purpose, which does help with the congestion. During the holidays starting on Thanksgiving until the end of the year it is a crap show. There is stuff everywhere there are lots of employees, but it's really a shot in the dark whether you're gonna grab what you want and whether the store will be a mess. I do feel like they try, and I do feel like you get more help here than you do at same Macy's. Their cosmetic area has drastically grown over the past few years, and they have certain men and women's perfumes. They don't carry everything but there are places in the mall that do if you can't find what you need. You'll usually get a good perfume gift set here or nice piece of jewelry also. Definitely worth stopping and taking advantage of their coupons or if you are brave enough to Open up a Kohl's charge to get extra percentages off like they will offer you all the time, just know that you will never stop coming here for the rest of her life because their coupons and percentages off are really great . read more

This stores customer service is horrible! I was in the area and purchased a set of Bluetooth speakers for my college bound daughter. The cashier was extremely rude and didn't ask me for my rewards number when ringing me up. After leaving the store I discovered that I should have received a $10 Kohls cash reward certificate...but didn't, due to the cashiers lack of concern. After finally moving my daughter into her dorm, we discovered that she didnt need the speakers...so I left them by my door for a return trip to the store. When I drove back to the store, I was told that I could not return them b/c I had exceeded the 30 day return policy (just started on January 1, 2017). So...I asked for store credit but I was shot down again b/c of the policy. I then asked to speak to a manger, who told me that there was nothing that they could do. They even explained that if my daughter received the speakers as a gift without a receipt that they could not be returned. When they explained the policy, I did see the return policy on the receipt...however, I was only 4 days shy of meeting that requirement. I really felt that the policy should have been somewhat flexible since I was willing to exchange the merchandise. This was the worst piece of news that I have received from a department store. I mean who turns a customer away from a department store? Also, I'm not blaming the store for the policy...but I'm upset with my entire experience with Kohls. The cashier was horrible, I didn't receive my $10 cash back reward and couldn't even return/exchange the merchandise due to a new policy. I won't be heading out to Kohls anytime soon. Also, avoided the Lakeside store...customer service is less than desirable. UPDATE: I contacted the corporate office and expressed my dissatisfaction with my shopping experience. Thanks to Ricki, I have resolution to this horrible chain of events. Note: I don't appreciate the comment that was made, after my post, from a Kohls representative. You totally missed my issue with your stores lack of customer service, which started with the cashier. I never should have had to call the store manager and complain about her inability to serve me with a smile. Moreover, she didn't ask for my rewards number, which caused a problem for me when I tried to redeem a $10 gift certificate. The problems with your store compounded when I tried to return the speakers (4 days outside of your new policy)...and then couldn't even exchange them for a more expensive item. But the last straw was when I called the rewards line to recover my missing points and could not. I was told to return to the store to receive the points and certificate. If it weren't for your corporate employee, Ricki, you would have LOST a customer FOREVER! Your response only proved to me that you are clueless to what customer service is all about...listening to your customer. Ricki actually listened to me and resolved my dilemma within minutes. If I could, I would give Ricki (in corporate) five stars. However, I stand by my initial review and give THIS store one star. Beware when buying merchandise with extended warranty or warranty that claims greater than one year. Kohls will not honor warranty items greater than one year. Their stores as well as corporate only keep records dating back only one year. This was verified by their corporate department today. If you did not buy the product within the one year time, it will not be honored as it can not be verified. I suggest not buying a items with extended warranty from Kohls or items that claim to be warranted for over one year. Kohls are crooks and can care less about their customers! read more

This is one of my favorite places to shop and there are many things that keep me returning time and time again. As much as I love Kohls, it's frustrating not having good internet service in the building even when trying to use their guest wifi. I had an email coupon that I accessed very quickly in the car but when I needed to present it to the cashier, I couldn't bring it up on my phone. She said the wifi was terrible inside the store. So she first suggested turning the wifi off on my phone. That didn't help. Then she suggested stepping outside. That still wasn't helping. I showed her the email on my phone but the portion with the barcode was having a hard time loading inside the building. As I grew frustrated at the terrible service in there, and as I was holding up the line trying to bring it up, she finally gave me the discount. I can go into many other department stores and the wifi is never a problem. Oh and as soon as I was back in my car, the barcode loaded! read more

Great deals but check out lines are always slow. Customer service is friendly but no sense of urgency when there's 10 people waiting in line. Amazon returns are quick and have their own kiosk. Today's shopping trip was less than fruitful. As I was trying to shop, aisles were blocked w boxes of merchandise just sitting on the floor, making some areas impassable. Hard to find employees in the floor to answer a question. The worst part of the experience is having to tell the cashier no less than 4 times no thank you to opening a Kohl's charge. If a say it twice that's too much to me but she just kept on asking. I shouldn't have to give you any reason why I won't open a Kohl's charge account, I don't care that it's just for Kohl's, I said no thank you 4 times. read more

Thanksgiving Day shopping! Wow 5 stars to the staff! Very friendly and organized ( I guess you need to be due to the fact that it is one of the busiest times). Check out was very quick. They had someone guiding customers to the open registers and each register had two people working together to assure a fast checkout! Great deals! This is the worst Kohl's in the area when it comes to customer service. The sales personnel have very little knowledge about the store, the merchandise or special promotions, and are generally rude. It is also a very small store, and doesn't carry all sizes in the clothing offered. The store is very messy, with merchandise strewn about, including on the floor. read more

I didn't know employees could tell customers what to do. It all started with me thinking that the mens tees were only 10 bucks each because it says 2 for 20, usually that means they are just 10 bucks if you just get one like JcPenney has but I guess not. First the older woman who was our cashier gave my brother an attitude about not signing up for the Kohls credit card or whatever they shove down your throat. I saw that his shirt was more than 10 bucks, so I set down the shirt, not wanting it anymore because it just wasn't worth it. She told me to go get it rudely and told me "that wasn't very nice". I went to go get the shirt for her, but I got it in disgust. As I was walking out just going to ignore how an employee just told me to do her job pretty much she said to her fellow employees "he didn't have to do that". Yep very professional(kidding). Not like I wanted to go in Kohls anyways because it's always disturbingly unorganized after so many years with pricey clothing and such. read more
