I was on a mission to find comfortable sneakers. So I went to Kohl's. When I walked in the store was clean and organized. They only have one entrance open at the moment so you'll have to enter through the main side. The shoe section had lots of different shoes to choose from. I tried on so many pairs of shoes my head was spinning. They had Sketcher's, Nike, Under Armour, Puma, Reebok, Van's, and other brands. I don't go shoe shopping often, so prices have definitely increased since the last time. After picking a pair I noticed they had shoes on clearance on the other side. Lol. Omg!! I was not going through that whole process again!! They had jewelry, kitchenwares, clothing, candy, bras, and etc. There were several different sales going on in different departments. I always love black Friday at Kohl's. Most of the time I can get a few good gifts. They are organized enough that the check out lines go pretty fast. They do not always have the correct price on items. But now with the APP you can scan it with your phone to do price check. I have found they don't always have that up to date either. They have big clearance time. Part of me loves it because you can get good deals but It is so unorganized. You have to have plenty of time to dig through things. Make sure you have the APP to scan to check prices. Make sure you read your coupons. They are very specific of what you can use those on. Sophora is in the middle of the store and You can never get discounts there. I hardly ever see anyone in that department shopping. The shoe area is another mess 1/2 the time. I'm gonna update this review and show some more love to my local Kohl's store. It's not my go-to for fashion and everyday or wear to work wear, but they have some cute items you can accent your wardrobe with at a great price. My mom loves this place and we always visit when she's in town. They have everything you could want. Clothing for men, women, kids, home goods, decor, kitchen appliances, shoes, seasonal items, candles, games, gifts, you name it. Think HomeGoods and TJ Maxx-type shopping. I love it. They have a store credit card which unlocks some serious deals but I don't want another credit card, so I haven't signed up. There are always some sales going on for everyone and are typically coupon codes. If you pull it up on your phone and click the (*) more icon, it will give you a barcode to scan in the store to get the same discount as online. Over the years I've found some great things in here and I always love to come look at Christmas decor when the times comes. I'm able to find a few gifts for friends and co-workers at great prices and the kitchen appliances are a steal. It's always clean, staff are helpful, and I have a great time looking around. More recently I've been ordering online and picking the items up in store! Well I utilize the drive up pickup option so I can stay in my car. You just click the link in your order email and tell them which spot you are in. It's usually very simple and quick but my most recent pick up was rather slow. I ended up having to call the store to remind them I was still waiting. If it takes longer than 10 minutes definitely call and check in! Overall I like that they offer this option so I will continue to shop online and pickup just plan allow for some cushion time if you have other plans afterwards. read more

Having a family of 6 with varying tastes necessitates one stop shopping and Kohl's fits the bill nicely. I especially love using the Kohl's app to check local in-store availability, ship to store or ship to home options, plus using the wallet feature to score coupons and sales. Bonus? They oftentimes stack saving promos and even have reward incentives for every certain $ amount you spend for your return trip. T-minus 8 days before Christmas, I called this store after seeing some Star Wars bed sheets on the app (for our boys' soon to be new bunk beds). that showed available for $14.99 sale price but strangely wouldn't add to cart. I spoke to a young guy in bedding (Devin?) who not only offered to check stock but confirmed the price was actually $4.99 on clearance. He then held 2 sets for us under my wife's name (easier to spell than Pravash); he further alerted us his shift ended at 630p but they'd be available anytime before close (11p) at service counter in the rear of the store. "Sho-nuff" they were there and rang up correctly. A+ Customer service. And, at that price, we grabbed 2 more sets because you can't even buy plain 3pc sheet sets on Amazon for $5!!! Add to the fact we were able to get some houseware gift items for our parents along with some clothing for our teen daughters (and a vest for my wife) all under $50! Score, even driving 35+ min one way from Norfolk! Was the store in slight disarray? Yes but that's understandable during the Christmas holiday shopping season. Impromptu stop after lunch, as my niece was off the fly invited over to her friend's house down the street for a swim in her pool. Rather than drive all the way back to the oceanfront to get her swim suit her other aunt purchased one on sale. This trip turned into a shopping spree for the twin sisters which I immediately jumped on the chance to go ahead and pay for their purchases as it would serve as their birthday presents from me. First off, I just wanted to say I am a mother to a 7 month old baby boy and I recently found myself shopping in Kohls for baby clothes and a new wardrobe for myself since I'm not a single girl anymore but a mature adult and I want to buy clothes that reflect my new phase in life! I spent over $300 of my hard earned money yesterday which included baby clothes! I was in store again today to use my Kohls cash - lo and behold - what do I see but an end cap near the front of baby onesies that were black with a controversial and sexualized logo of which I can only understand to be a many sexual identities banner mash up. How on God's green earth should children be showcasing this nonsense? Did someone in the merchandising and design team really think this was appropriate??? Or are they simply pushing their disgusting agenda onto innocent children? Does corporate support the sexualization of BABIES? Do they not understand how grossly inappropriate that is, and that many people like myself will not stand to shop anymore at kohls because of their pedophilia views? I am embattled on how to review Kohl's. To get to the issue directly with me, it is the way Kohl's layers sales, on top of 15% off coupons that come in through the mail, on top of "we'll give you even more off if you charge it to our card"... I'm old school! I want whatever I am buying to have a price on it, and perhaps put that joker on sale every once again, and call it a wrap. Adding the requirement to be on a junk mailing list for 15% more off, and to use their Ccard for the purchase. (I use only one card for all purchases. I don't want dozens of retailer cards...) I decline the junk mail, and I definitely decline to open up another credit card. I also refuse to try and track when to shop for the sales will be. (Apparently, last one was 10am-10pm on the third Thursday,after the second blue moon of every leap year, but I didn't know, because I didn't opt for the junk mail flyer or the spam email reminder!) So in the end, I leave the store paying 20 bucks more for an item than the savvy lady in front of me did. Was that a rant? Turned into one, Yes. Sorry. :-) Back to the point: For the ladies and gents who love the art of tracking sale dates and matching that with closeouts and coupons, KOHL's is a great store, with nice products and very friendly sales folks. You can get some great deals if you do it right. So overall, Store itself and customer service is easily a 4-star. I browse this location about once a month. The merchandise is always orderly, and the store is clean. I recently purchased some pants that were on sale. They fit great, but shrunk substantially after I washed them. I took them back without the tags or receipt. Jo, at the service desk, expedited the situation without even the slightest grumble. I exchanged the pants for some longer ones even though the sale had since ended. If you enjoy shopping in clean stores, and don't like surprise highwaters jeans, then go to Kohl's at Landstown and spend your money there. read more

Cons - - In general, there store doesn't seem so organized. - Merchandise, when not on sale, is definitely on the more pricey side. Pros - - Though pricey, this store does ALWAYS have sales. (But in reality, I always think that these "so called" sale prices, should be their "real" prices anyway.) - They do have a lot of "cool" things that you probably won't find in other stores. Great store. Great service. I have a complaint from my most recent visit. I was on the hunt for a pair of black pumps. Stylish, with a low comfortable heel perfects for hours of wear. I should have these but I don't. The women's shoe section was lacking is style variety in my opinion. I tries on a super cute pair of boots on sale for half-price. I put them on and searched for a full length mirror. NOTHING! Not even in the man's shoes or sneaker section. I walk all the way to the men's clothing section, hoping no one would confront me for walking around the store in these boots that didn't belong to me. I found a post with a mirror but it was blocked by a table stacked with goods. I didn't want to walk any further away from the shoe department so I went back, walked through it to the other side and found a mirrored post just past the shoes. While I was checking out the boots a store associate walked by, greeted me, then passed. Click. I followed her and asked her if there were any full length mirrors in the shoe section? She took the time and checked every single post. And reported back to me that I was correct and that was strange. I shared a few more thoughts and told her that they should do something to correct this problem. Before she left she said that they probably should because they've gotten a lot of complaints. Step it up Kohl's! I'll still be coming here. Oh I found pumps, one pair, not my size. labeled limited quantity. They couldn't even be looked up in the Kohl's system. Overall, Kohl's is a good place to find things for the house, and sometimes clothing as well. They don't cater to larger sizes though. I don't normally come in here too often, but they did have some good after-Christmas sales going on. The store can be confusing to maneuver around as there seems to be any major organization to it, except for general areas, such as clothes in one spot, home in another, etc. However, when trying to narrow down from there, it tends to be all over in that general section. Most of the time when I come in here, I'd be looking for things for the home. However, I won't purchase items at regular price, as their regular prices run on the high side. If an item is on sale and can get a good deal on it and is something I'm looking for, I'll get it. In this latest visit, I was able to get some Thinsulate gloves for about $10, when the regular price is around $35. Although I don't come in often, I'll come in now and again when I have a coupon and a great sale is going on. This place is a solid three stars. You just want to avoid purchasing items at full price. The associates who have helped me have been pretty friendly. They have found items at other stores, called the other store and had the items held for me. Having grown up in Wisconsin, I've been shopping at Kohl's for as long as I can remember. Everything is always on sale, granted everything is pretty much overpriced before the "sale". But if you have a Kohl's charge card you get coupons in the mail every month for an additional percentage off. When I get a 30% off coupon, it is on. I buy most of my kid's clothes there. The clothes are cute and good quality. They always have adorable holiday themed shirts, too. I get a decent amount of my clothes there as well, but I'm an Amazon, and they don't carry an adequate stock of long sized pants for women. They have the best return policy around. I had a gift card..... Now that's it's gone, so am I. I am a size 16/18 and the stores selection for my size is ridiculous!!! Not having as much stuff is one thing, but I want the same stuff. The smaller sizes have pastels, small floral accents.... My size has bright colors (harsh), BIG floral prints.... Being a bigger size doesn't mean I need different fabric, just a lil more of it. Just as bad, the shoe selection is non-existent if you wear a wide!! And finding someone to check the back is insane. Still, at the end of the day it is the prices that make the big difference. My wife has been shopping here since this location opened. They run some amazing sales and they carry Tony Hawk clothing for kids and that is what my son loves. Tony Hawk jeans seem to fit him the best and I have a hard time shopping at Walmart when I can get name brand, quality clothing here for the same price. I tried using my Kohl's credit card to purchase a gift online just before Christmas. My purchase was declined because they thought it was possibly fraud related. I called customer service and verified my telephone number, my address, the last four of my social security number, my birthday as well as any other things they asked for. After several minutes on the telephone with customer service they still would not except that the person on the phone was me and would not allow me to use my credit card and asked me to go into a store with my drivers license for proof of identification. In June I finally decided to go into a Kohl's location and attempt to use my card again. When I was trying to pay for the items with my Coles credit card I was asked for my drivers license as proof of identification. While on the telephone the associate was instructed to ask me for a second form of identification. I had my debit card as well as a MasterCard and even my Social Security card in my wallet which I provided as secondary forms of identification. None of these forms of identification were good enough. They asked me for a bank statement! Who walks around with a bank statement in their purse??? They asked me for a health insurance card which I did have however my health insurance is in my husbands name so that was not acceptable either. I apologized to the young associate and told him I knew it was not his fault however it was his problem at the moment because he was the one standing there. Again I was not allowed to use my Kohl's credit card. I left the merchandise on the checkout counter drove straight home called customer service and closed my Kohl's account. The customer service representative that helped me close my account never asked why I was trying to close my account or was there anything they could do to help me keep my account open just said thanks your account is now closed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have since told everyone I know how I was treated with Kohl's and how they should never shop at Kohl's again read more

This is the most rude and unprofessional location. I have came here in the last several weeks and got ignored and looked over almost every time I came here. Last night was the last straw for me. I was waiting in line for a good 2 mins while one guy at register 4 was checking a customer out and a lady at the register in front of him was empty but she refused to see if anyone needed help. Then a couple walks in front of the line and she looks up and see I have been waiting but never acknowledge I was and check out the couple that jumped the line. I didn't make a seen , I simply waiting and the guy who finished with another customer, checked me out. He was nice. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this location. A couple days before that, I came to put up a package. I gave my phone to the clerk and she looks at it, gives it back and tells me to read the order number to her. Like you had the number just so it's not told to you wrong. Kohl's, I get it's busy but do better with your customer service. Bought a lighted sign for my wife for Christmas. Got it hung up and one letter did not light. Went to the store and they had one more left so they exchanged it and when I got it home same thing except a different letter didn't work. Called the store the next day to see if I could exchange letters but the sign was already gone. Told them the problem so they said I would have to find one at another store because they were not getting anymore. I called several before finding it was discontinued. I called the original store and talked to them again (they were very rude) and explained that the first time I exchanged it I did not have to show a receipt and I couldn't find it and now I needed to return it since it was discontinued. I'm not sure where they get their original prices from, but they're steeper than most. They tell you that you saved all this money but I'm not thinking that it's all that true. Sure there are other options out there for your shopping needs and they do have plenty of coupons if you join their email list. Plus, they have their rewards cards along with Kohl's Cash that has you come back at a later date to save money. I always find great deals in this location but I have to search for them. If I could change anything about this store it would be the clearance sections. They require time and a ton of patience when shopping. The staff is always great and the lines never get too out of control before you hear the call for backup over the intercom. The young ladies that work in the cosmetic department take pride in the presentation of that department and that's honestly why it's my favorite. I love shopping here and the Kohl's cash is great. The clothes are nice and not too messy. The only issue I have here (and I'm sure it's all Kohl's) but when I say "no thank you I don't want to sign up for the Kohl's credit card" I DON'T WANT IT. The cashier ends up saying "are you sure? You could get another 10% off" five more times. And I have to keep saying no over and over. read more
