My wife and I used to love this place. We started eating there during the ending of covid…read moresituations and the food was great. The egg rolls were amazing. Large and stuffed with veggies and fried crispy without being greasy....alas this has apparently changed. We went there today and got our usual orders (toss, and sweet and sour with yum yum sauce for my wife's rice) the egg rolls were tiny and very greasy with a very strong fish taste. The fried rice was bland and flavorless with next to no veggies, egg, or anything. My general tsos despite the sauce being a decent flavor was dry and stringy, and just this side of inedible. Was definitely not worth 30 freaking bucks. How the mighty ninja has fallen

We were promptly waited on by friendly staff who brought our food to our table. The restaurant has a nicely sized menu and will even make things and not listed. Their peanut avocado rolls are good as well as the avocado asparagus rolls they made for me that weren't a listed option. The more affordable avocado rolls are my favorite rolls. Their miso soup is good, but my absolute favorite is the vegetable tempura here. The sweet potato, broccoli, mushroom, onion, and peppers? are all good, but I could make a meal out of nothing but an entire tray of the zucchini. The person I dined with has gotten a salmon bento box both times. Cold bottled drinks are available in a cooler. I'm not sure if their fountain drinks are in working order but was told their fountain water didn't taste good at all. They also do not have any ice. Halloween spider webs complete with fake spiders are still hanging in May, and the tables and glass doors could use a bit more cleaning. If you dine in, your food is still usually in semi to go fashion but on a tray. I've been able to request containers and a bag as well as chopsticks. Being in an old former fast food building with a few flaws including a handwritten sign on the blank drive thru menu, it's nothing fancy and probably not where I'd go for a special occasion. However, the food is really good, and the prices are reasonable, so it fills the need for Japanese food in an area where there are few dining options. I believe they also have Chinese food on the menu and that the people here are from China. Dine in and take out are both available. You can even opt for pickup at the drive thru window. I'm assuming you would call ahead for that. There is some seating outside on the front patio. I am particularly fond of the booths where I can view the mostly red wall mural containing many cats in the artwork. Despite being somewhat of a hole in the wall, the food does meet or exceed what I have had elsewhere. It's fast yet made with care. It's a great option for vegetarians and vegans - something not easily found around here. I'm sure I'll return when I'm in Wabash and need an avocado roll and tempura fix.

On this occasion we occupied the large group room. The room was cozy and allowed our party to have an intimate room to ourselves. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of help to serve our larger group. They were a bit slow...but allowed us to pace ourselves and enjoy the fellowship. I was impressed that they hustled a child's order ahead of the adults food to keep them satisfied. I didn't see the waiters come back through much after the food was served. On this trip I ordered the steak teriyaki bento box. The box is a bit expensive compared to Other places. However the sinking atmosphere, location, quality and volume...justify the price in my mind. The box came with a cup of miso soup. The soup was tasty and a lot like you would expect for a Japanese restaurant. It did not come with a salad as many other places might. The box was stuffed with food! The steak es piled high and excellent! It was very tender and moist. It had a nice teriyaki flavor marinated in the meat. There were two crab Rangoon pieces and two egg rolls. Normally you would only expect one of each. The crab Rangoon wrapper was cooked so that it was a bit oily and the wrapper was mushy. The filling was plentiful. However I felt like the filling was lacking on crab taste and overpowering on cream cheese. The egg Roll wrappers were a bit more crispy without being too crispy. The wrapper was a bit greasy to taste. I found the filling...while fresh...to be a little mushy as well. There were five pieces of a California roll included. That was a lot of sushi to eat as well. The roll was tasty. It was put together nicely and gave you a good taste of each ingredient.

I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant…read more For one, the food was terrific, and the menu was pretty extensive. I know I walked out of there extremely full, knowing I would return. However, the best part of the evening? It was undoubtedly the service that I received from my server. A mom of several kids, we talked about the challenges of balancing school and activity schedules with work hours required by her employer. In particular, we discussed one of her daughters, who is apparently an avid golfer despite the responsibilities of tending to her other tables. And she handled that with a smile and with grace. As I was in Ft. Wayne on a golf-related matter, I keyed in on this part of the conversation. Again, it was extremely friendly to meet someone so pleasant. Back to the food - again, it was excellent. And I will be honest, I ate more than I should have! The restaurant is in a small strip mall, but it is well-maintained at the time of my visit. For photos, I suggest that you Google the restaurant - there is an extensive selection. This also applies to the menu. Many, many choices, and they all look great.

Thai Tea - $ 3 - This wasn't very good. It didn't really taste like Thai Tea. 0/5 stars. Spring Roll - $7 - This we got I think on a Wednesday night, because if you spent so much money you get a free spring roll appetizer. It was ok, but I wouldn't have paid money for it. 3/5 stars. Vegetables and Tofu $14, Chicken $16, Beef $17, and Shrimp $18 We had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See-Ew. The Pad Thai had the best flavor, and then the Pad See-Ew, and I really can't recommend the Drunken Noodles. We got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and the other two mild, but I couldn't taste any spice in them. I really wouldn't recommend getting the noodles here, but if you had to pick one, get the Pad Thai. Now for the good part, the sushi! Now, I was planning on trying everything and just making a giant list of what's so good, but I apologize, there's so many good ones that I just forgot my nit picking on certain rolls. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'm going to list all the rolls I've had, but really, just pick your favorite fish and I'm sure it'll be good. Nori Angel Hiroshima Kobe Black Panther Moon Fire - This is fun show, and it gives a yummy fire taste. Dupont Red Dragon White Dragon Nagasaki American Dream Hamachi Fiesta Indiana Beach Fresh, fried, doesn't matter, all of them are good. They give you soy sauce, but you really don't need it with any of the rolls. Tempura Cheesecake - $8 - This was fantastic. This was free for my birthday lunch, and I was so happy with this. I'd pay money for this. 5/5 stars. Go here for the sushi and the Tempura Cheesecake! We stuff ourselves with so much sushi that we don't leave room for dessert, but I really should get that cheesecake again. Go here!
