After flying into Calgary and staying overnight near the airport before travelling to Banff, our…read morefamily headed out to dinner. What a great choice. We had a nice table overlooking the restaurant. Drinks were fantastic, even though they took longer than expected, but the server came by to let us know they were in process. Everyone commented on how great their food was. My steak was perfect. A little different having three different people wait on us, but we all loved it!

The hostesses served us all a complimentary, sparkling non alcoholic "appletini" while our seating was arranged. We had the Bang Bang Chicken and Korean Fried Cauliflower as an appetizer. Both were appealing to the eye with the perfect amount of spice. Being from the south and wanting a menu item the farthest from a curry dish, I ordered the Blackened Chicken which is served on a mound of warm potato salad and a slaw. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The spices and flavors melded together nicely and the portion was more than plentiful. For dessert, my daughter and I shared the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. It was very decadent and a nice treat with the fresh raspberries & Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream. I had an Americano Coffee to balance out the sweet. Our hostess Ashley was young, fun and personable who enjoys her job, which is rare but so refreshing. Her sincerity definitely enhanced the culinary experience. I may never get back to Calgary, Alberta, Canada but my last dinner there will forever remain a good memory.
