In 1988 I bought a loose Tanzanite nearly 21/2 c. A beautiful stone for $5.000. before they as well know today. You fine any better today . I bought many pieces from Don and he always gives me a discount even if they don't have sale . They have fine selection of jewelry and watches . read more

These guys need to retire from the business. Bought a 10K ring there, the main diamond fell out after a month. Then they tried to blame their poor craftsmanship on my fiancé. Years later now it needs to be fix again, they have had it for weeks. Now the jeweler is on his honeymoon? It was supposed to be a 10-14 day job. PLEASE RETIRE and spare other customers of your poor service! read more

When I lived in Cleveland Kolick's used to be the jeweler that I trusted the most but one weird experience turned me off of them. I brought my wedding rings in to be buffed and cleaned (I work with my hands a lot so they take a beating more often than not). Upon entering a gentleman came up to me, asked me if I needed help, and when I told him that I'd like my rings cleaned and the scratches buffed a little he informed me that they "don't buff scratches off because it wears away at the gold." He didn't offer to clean them or assist me with anything else, either. Later when I was back in St. Louis I went to my normal, trustworthy, talented and experienced jeweler who actually custom made my rings. I told her what had happened and she told me she had never heard of such a thing and that buffing doesn't "wear down the gold" but that over-buffing the ring would maybe make it more malleable as it heats up. But she told me that even this would require massive amounts of buffing over years and years with nonstop wear-and-tear on the rings. I also noticed that the pieces they have there are quite expensive. In particular the Swarovski jewelry that they carry in stock is marked up over 50% (I checked online). I bought a Swarovski piece as a present for my aunt and they didn't even take the price tag off but instead they WRAPPED it with the price tag still showing! They forgot to take the price tag off the bracelet itself AND the box they wrapped it in! That was so embarrassing! Of course it was the first thing she saw when she opened it up! Ugh, too many bad experiences in this place. I do not recommend it! read more

Lisa was a great help to my then boyfriend to help him buy the perfect ring for me. I love my ring sooo much and could not be happier with his choice. I went back after getting engaged to buy his wedding band too. He loves his ring too. He unfortunately lost his band on our honeymoon but as soon as we returned from Belize I went to Kolick's to get the same one :) Everyone is so nice and helpful there. read more

Kolick's had been our family jeweler for many many years. I will never get jewelry from another jeweler. I will gladly fly the 4 hours from Vegas to go see Don and his staff. It's always a stop on our to do list when we come to town for a visit read more

Kolick's Jewelers is a second-generation family owned and operated, independent guild jeweler. Kolick's Jeweler's has been in business since 1949 when Joseph Kolick began serving the greater Cleveland community as Fairview Park Jewelers. Donald Kolick, his son, joined the family business in 1982 and serves as owner and president of Kolick's Jewelers, Inc. Donald is a graduate and certified gemologist from The Gemological Institute of America and The American Gem Society. Although the name has changed, Kolick's commitment to superior quality and service has not changed in over 70 years it has been in business as a certified jeweler. Kolick's Jewelers is located in Emerald Square, Westlake, Ohio. I wish the price was more inclusive. Like a family bundle that includes tickets, bag to apple pick, bucket of apples for the cannon, etc. then you just lay one price upfront. The apple cannon was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. The event says it is open until 6. At 5 we decided to head up to the food truck and to get donuts and everything was closed up. They had a small stand inside with hot dogs and kettle corn. The place was really beautiful with the flowers and corn field plus cute picnic areas.
