His Costco office opened in August and currently is open Tuesdays and Saturdays for now with plans to increase hours. I believe he is a provider independent of Costco and anyone can make an appointment to see Dr. Franks even if you do not have a Costco membership. As I do not have time during the week Saturday was perfect for me. Making an appointment was a piece of cake (same day! and walk ins welcome!) as Dr. Franks fit me right in. I've gotten my eye exams done in CA, FL, and NY now and my eye exam with Dr. Franks was the best, most thorough exam I've ever had. Although he was very thorough with my eye exam, he was also very efficient, quick and got me out in no time. You can tell he is very passionate and enthusiastic about his work and your eye health. With my Davis Vision VSP, eyeglasses exam was covered and only needed to pay $40 for my contact lens exam too. He recommended me some great new contacts lenses for my eyes and gave me samples to try on. He gave me the prescriptions for my eyeglasses as well as for my contacts. Also got some free travel size contact solutions to go! Dr. Franks is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend him for eye exams! You won't regret it and will have clear vision! I had a good experience when I made the appointment. The associate sounded so accommodating . On the day of the check-up , the receptionist was welcoming and the doctor associate was so pleasant to deal with . Oh boy, even the doctor was exceptional himself . Very friendly, professional and charming. My son felt so welcome to be here , felt very comfortable with his new eye doctor . The office is located in the ground level of a medical building, has a private parking lot for the building guests . Easy access from the main road. Close to shopping centers. Lots of samples of eyeglasses were on display. The associate who assisted my son was very helpful. The doctor was so knowledgeable. All of my sons inquiries were answered. Dr. Orenstein has fitted multi-focus contact lenses for me, each time with patience and ingenuity. If you need reading glasses and wear contacts, you know how tricky it can be to get fitted for contact lenses. I thought I needed to wear reading glasses even while wearing multi-focus contact lenses. But after my recent eye exam, I no longer need my reading glasses!
