I spent over $220 on a gold forever bracelet to commemorate my first single trip to Oahu. First solo trip ever actually. Its been less than 6 months and 2 of the decorations have fallen off. I didnt know they could fall off or I wouldve picked a different design and place. I met friends who got their forever bracelets for much cheaper at other locations in Oahu and they have no issues. Be wary of this location. It is in a tourist hot spot. The bracelet only looks good from side. I have never snagged it on anything, I dont have a rough blue collar job and I live in CA where shirts dont even need long sleeves. It should last forever.... Its in the name. read more

I have an addiction to permanent jewelry and walked passed this store and had to go inside. It's cute but small on the inside. Not busy at all on a weekday so we were attended to quickly. She did my bracelet quick and I love it. The jewelry is a bit pricey but average for permanent jewelry in my opinion. The surrounding location is very busy with restaurants and shops. We had a hotel nearby but parking I'm sure would be a pain. read more

Overpriced and quality of the pearls are bad. They sell $60 for a Tahitian 7mm pearl and $60 for mother of pearl which looks like plastic. No luster at all. They don't look real. Bought 3 pearls which they said were Edison. $80 each but they look like cheap plastic. Most of their items look dyed. A pearl wholesaler inspected them and said the quality is worth a few $$ while we paid $180 for the bracelet and $150 for a tiny pendant We deeply regret the purchase ! read more

I honestly love Kolohe so much! The handmade accessories are beautiful! My first time discovering this shop was in the summer of July 2019 when I was staying at the Alohilani Resort. I wanted to attend a class to make my own jewelry; however, with all other plans on my itinerary...never had the chance to. However, on my way out to check out of the hotel...I found myself running into the shop as I was in a hurry, but didn't want to regret not going into look around. The shop is really cute, but the markup is incredible, even for Waikiki. I got a gold fill paper clip chain with a gem for $150, only to discover later that I could've got the same thing on Etsy for $25. Even Pachulah at Int'l Marketplace doesn't charge that much! This place is fabulous! You need to go and do a jewelry making class. My daughters and I had a class and it was truly such an amazing experience! Just the time you take with others to connect and make something together! Wow!!! Each piece we made with our own hands with Gems and stones from their plethora of various types! The pieces have so much more meaning to me because I made them with my girls on a "girls" trip to Hawaii, my home! My daughter custom made a necklace here about 3 years ago when we were on vacation. She was heart broken when she lost it. For her birthday, we decided to replace it for her. As soon as I stepped in, I was warmly welcomed by Rose, who happily helped me throughout my entire shopping experience. The shop is located in the stunning lobby of the Alohilani Resort, and it was incredible to hear the backstory behind the store, and that it is a woman-led business.
