Steve explained to me that both doors would need to be painted so that the color would match correctly as my damage was close to the edge of the front door also. He walked me through the process, told me how much and how long it would take. We scheduled my drop-off and he communicated with me during the job. Car was delivered 100% looking great and absolutely on time. When I went to drop the car off, the same lot only had a few vehicles in it- they had fixed and completed the work on most all of them that week. AMAZING Steve saved me over $2,000 versus the bid I received close to home. It is/was worth the drive for sure, easy access off and on I-5 . By the end of it, it was spendy, but they did amazing work putting the car back to original condition. The paint matched very well when they were done, and all the seams between the door, hood, and fender are all symmetrical. Kandice was awesome in reaching out to give me updates every few days on the status of the car. Diana was also very helpful in reaching out as well. At the end of it all, the car came out beautifully. A couple days after I got the car back, Diana reached out to ask how the car was driving and if I was happy with it all. I mentioned there were a couple small scratches in the clear coat of the bumper that weren't there before (which is half to be expected as they had the car for a month and there was a lot of work to do). They told me to bring it down the next morning and they buffed out the paint on the bumper in 10 minutes and were able to make the scratches nearly disappear. If you have cosmetic damage on your car and don't want to deal with the absolute headache of a traditional body shop, this mobile service is a total game-changer. Gustavo came right to my house to work on my 2000 Honda Accord. I needed a few things done: 1. Paint a replacement passenger-side mirror. 2. Repair and paint a dented front passenger-side fender. 3. Paint scratched corners on both the front right and front left sides of my front bumper. The quality of his work is honestly incredible. The dented fender looks brand new, and the bumper scratches completely vanished. The color matching is spot-on, which isn't easy to do! He did forget to paint the replacement passenger-side mirror before wrapping up, but honestly, his customer service is so phenomenal that it barely registers as an issue. He owned up to it immediately and is coming right back out tomorrow morning to finish it up. That level of honesty, professionalism, and accountability is so rare these days. However i have never dealt with Hinshaw Auto Body on any sort of project prior to this job. Highlighting the pros of this job; paint itself was matched well and seemingly done correctly. Even went above and beyond (to my knowledge) and painted the hood which was not on the service bulletin to be warrantied. They were fairly open to me seeing the process and answering my questions if anything came up throughout. Unfortunately with any pros came multiple cons; starting with body pieces being incorrectly put back, gouging tint on all four windows without telling me, breaking headlight electrical plugs, lack of cleanliness (buffing compound all over the truck, some of which stained parts unrelated to the project), etc. Although a few of these items were corrected, others were slacked on. Overall i am disappointed in the service that was highly spoken of from Doxon Toyota. I would normally recommend body shops, dealers, companies, etc. But in this case it is nearly impossible to do so. I would hope in the future this can help customers be aware of what can potentially happen to your vehicle here and provide feed back for Hinshaw Auto Body to be more attentive going forward.

Little disappointed they needed a whole 6 days just to paint & replaced a new bumper. My Ex used to work as an auto painter & he never took that long for that simple job. When I picked up my car, I saw an alert saying my "audio system unavailable". My horn & alarm wasn't working. We went back next day & they checked. They forgot to reconnect the wires to my bumper. When I picked up my car, they still had it on service mode so I had to ask someone to change it. 3 stars for friendly staff, completed work & +$3500 I didn't pay out of my own pocket.
